question- When ordering TM2 direct from TM site that i've purchased from in past- i click on the $ as i'm in U.S. but when i go through process to ship & pay with credit card- it is showing the amount in Euro not $ for the amount- Shouldn't the amount show in $ for a U.S. purchase?? I didn't complete the buy as it showed euro as pmt amount.

Pretty sure you're all good. Once you complete the order I think it gives you the final total in dollars but I can't remember for sure.

Once payment is processed it will finish out in USD.

I just ordered this morning TM2 only no accessories came out to $359.79

well, I tried. Credit card company froze my card because it thought it was a fraudulent order. If for some reason you run into this, in the payment option section I tried "use a secondary service" or something along those lines to actually get it to go through. I got an email saying the order was placed but no idea if the card company will actually send the payment. This has been such a sucky experience, I really hope this thing rips.

Edit - "secondary card processor" is the verbiage used according to the email.

Ok, got confirmation it went through so if you're having issues with your payment, try the secondary card processor option.

Ordering thread *cough**cough* ;)
It is still shorter so maybe more helpful for people to find these kind of tips there?

Congrats. Amazing first vape.

Medium grind. Gently tamped. Leave small gap between herb and heater screen. Inhale low and slow.

Since you are coming from combustion, try starting the temp low at 4, then stepping up through the gears. This will allow extraction across the spectrum of terps and cannibinoids that you typically don't get with combustion. You might find you enjoy the high (vape signature) very much.
This is the way. Although a coarse grind from BCG will work just fine.

I have a bit of an insight maybe. I'm an unusual case, as I'm someone who suffers from panic attacks sometimes, yet I am a heavy user. I normally do some deep breathing when I feel one coming on when very high.

I've noticed with TM2 I get super high, but I find I never even begin to feel anxious. The effect is pronounced compared to when I use FP, Anvil, Volcano.

I'm thinking it's because I'm vaping at such a low temp with the TM2. The high feels so different. Does anyone have any experience which mirrors this?
Funny you mention this as for the first week of my TM2 I was starting at 7 and finishing at 10. But after hearing Troy and Jerry try it at 4, I decided to give it a go and WOW! I got much more stoned than usual. Very tasty hit and thick cloud. Deeper and longer lasting high for sure.

It could simply because I am doing something different, I don't know. But I like it!

The high I'm getting from my TM2 doing this is perhaps my favourite vape sig of all time. The high seems to last longer as well, as you mentioned.

I expected to just use TM outdoors and on hikes. But I think for the reason stated above it's going to be part of my daily rotation for sure. I love starting out with TM2. Such a beautiful wake and bake signature. Then I find in the late evenings I gravitate towards my Anvil or FP.

Aight so the warranty/rma/whatever process is done so I'll go into detail about what happened:

I was at a LAN with some friends, we were all hitting our vapes and sharing, me only having 2 batteries for the Tinymight end up running out of juice, so I charge my badboy from my pc, basic 5V/1A USB port, after a while I notice vapor coming out of the stem, so I'm thinking did I leave it in session mode? Nah not at all, some cap ended up burning and this putrid electrical fire smell just starts coming out

I take out the battery and the unit is fucking burning hot, so I take it out on the balcony to let it cool down then I take this picture

At this point it's 4:am on a sunday so I bag the tinymight up into some smellproof stuff and next morning at 12:02 I send TM an email with the picture and explanation, no joke 10 minutes later (on a sunday!) I get a reply from them telling me that they were sorry and some other nice stuff and offered to send me a TM2 free of charge with express shipping.
It arrived yesterday and I do love it, it's a beautiful piece with some great grain pattern :D

Conclusion I guess? Great company, no trust lost here, faults happen and as you should be I was diligent about keeping an eye on it while charging because in the end you never know, but I guess now I know.

EDIT: The TI stem that's included is fantastic for outdoor use, any wind will keep it relatively cool even if you run it at 8, way less stealthy but people seem to still think it's a normal vape, got to do some more observing to know for sure

SEARCH for the treasure...
Appreciate you posting that photo, amazing how smoked that board was. GREAT reminder that these battery devices need to be monitored. Glad you caught it when you did. Lots of newbie posts on whether to “clean or not”, but you illustrated it’s more important to pay attention to the device, by feel, and smell. Thanks!

I had a similar problem with Sneaky Pete and with Brilliant cut recently, but no problem with my TM2! I tried three different cards with both of them that have zero balances and yet I was denied! Tried going through a VPN, still no good.

As a long shot, I had my wife try on her laptop and voila, order placed! Something on my computer made their system think I was shady. And I didn't even tell them that I am a prince from Nigeria who just needs $2000 put in my account temporarily... :brow:

Hey so after reading this thread I ordered a 4” stem from HA and GVB. GVB came in today and looks beautiful. The yellow and pink 2 bead from his site. Unfortunately.. it’s slightly smaller diameter so it doesn’t exactly seal and it can move. Anyone else have that with the 2 bead GVB stem? My Mouthpieces doesn’t fit. I’d have to go hunting for new o-rings for the mouthpieces which is annoying since I wouldn’t be able to swap them out.

Still waiting on the HA to finish making mine. Custom ordered day I got my TM2.

Can you show a photo? (use imgur or imgbb .com) I'm not sure what you mean by two bead, a short stem with a yellow and a pink bead? Or do you mean the one that had eight clear beads, and was half yellow and half pink color stem from the site?? The color stems he uses I know are thicker and have a smaller inner diameter than his clear stems (why he's making me one of each style now)

Sure. It’s the one from his new store page. Don’t mind the screen on top. I was testing both ends for the fit. Lol

Cool yeah I thought that was the one you were talking about! Looks great, he just made me one similar, with blue and pink, have you tried the yellow side as well? There can be variance with glass, perhaps you can find thicker o-rings to use... My TM2 is a tight fit, will break in more, so I'm not too worried about mine fitting well? But I think GVB clear stems are more stable at least

It’s baaaaaack! My OG TM circa March ‘20 came back from Finland and its repair stint (fried board due to inserting the battery the wrong way). UPS manhandled the box (not the same one I sent it in) and bottom wasn’t taped. When I opened it up the TM was on! I didn’t send it with a battery either figuring it would be too risky. I guess shippers like to gamble more than we do. I’d be surprised if the TM folks shipped it on. Needless to say I got a free Molicel for my troubles - and I wasn’t charged for the repair though I did offer to pay. After all I was the one who put the battery in the wrong way (for the first time in 2.5 years).

Can’t wait to fire it up with a fresh batt in a couple hours after work! :peace:
My TM1 was delivered this way new. I think the retailer tested it (normally good) and forgot to turn it back off (bad). I must have pushed the button getting it out of the box and bag because it was very hot when I first took it in hand. No lasting harm was done thankfully.

Retailers: remember to always turn it off and set the temp to 0

All who wander are not lost...
UPS did it at customs and turned it on to see what it does… TM does ship with battery but turned off!
Yeah, I’m sure UPS did this too with mine. I’d be surprised TM would ship it with it turned on. That’s why I didn’t send a battery with mine for its repair.

See above - the messenger did it! Not TM :)

My repaired TM wobbles. It wobbles on hard surfaces, like a weeble (weebles wobble but they don’t fall down). I don’t want to mess with the screw and try to realign things. It’s running too well. It’s a bit annoying but I’ll survive. On the positive side I have less light bleed coming through the vape which explains the wobble - things are aligned better than I had previously done sanding down my TM last year and taking it apart.

They replaced my stem ring as my old one had a self-inflicted scratch on it and the one on it now does not. That was a bit of a surprise. For all I know they could’ve replaced the large oring too - one of two stock short stems I randomly chose to inaugurate its return slides quite easily even after tightening it. I want to try the other stem as I know they’re different from each other in both the outer and inner diameter. Ah the variability of glass, and the occasional nuances with all the orings fitting.

But damn, it’s all worth it and I missed my TM! And it missed me. My first load spread across 2 sessions was great. I started at 4 as previously and nearly coughed up a lung. The heater felt stronger, and maybe the new board is calibrated differently than the old one (which I’ve never calibrated). I had to turn down the temp a half setting then finished the session. Apropos for the occasion I used a strain called God’s Gift (I loved them name when I first heard of it. Who names these anyway? Like crayon or paint colors…). Flavor was really good and I’d almost forgotten how great the flavor is with the TM. And the vapor was really good too, maybe even better now. Second sesh started at 4.5 and I killed the load in a couple of draws. I started a fresh load at 3.5 which turned it down to on the first sesh of the first load, and the heat signature definitely felt better at a slightly lower temp than I used before the repair. My TM is rocking!! Starting on 4 previously produced good vapor, now I can start on a lower temp. Very good! I use the cooling units without the nuts and washers so I enjoy the lower temps, natively. It’s such an amazing vape and I’m ecstatic it’s back. It hits like no other. Simply amazing! More reunion celebrating to do! :peace:
