For what it’s worth, 190 proof grain alcohol is available in Oregon in (state-controlled) liquor stores under the brand name Clear Springs. I think I pay about $6-8 for a 375 ml bottle (flask-shaped). But I only use about one such bottle per year, mostly for glass stems (E-Nano), MF Orbiter, Lotus, and for the glass vials I use for ground and unground storage. The stems and Orbiter get cleaned 1-3 times per week (and used 1-2 times per day), so as long as you’re thrifty with it, it can go a long way.

Can someone confirm me precisely the inside diameter of the Quartz stems and the Titanium stems of the TM2 ?
I 'am looking for buying black quartz stems, and i'am not sure, but someone has posted that the inside diameter is 14mm. At this time i have only found black quartz tubes of 13.5mm.

I am really jealous of the wood colour you have compared to my TM2. Is this out of the box or did you apply any dye/wax etc?Does anyone have any tips for removing the o-rings from the CU? I tried to remove one and it just snapped on me. I figured it would be wise to ask before I go any further
Edit: I just got the second one off without issue so I guess it was a dud, luckily they provided many extras.

The i.d. of the stem is 12mm.
Damnit, my TM lost its power totally over the time.
It worked over one year very good, always lost a little bit of heat. BUt I could always fix it with calibration mode.
Now calibration is at its highest Temp and its still too cool. Feels like vaping with max 190 degrees. THats bullshit...
Any ideas for fixing this ?

Okay, I'll state the obvious, are you using a known-to-be-good battery?
The battery is not the reason for the power lose on my TM, Ive 8 different of them and a lot of other vaporizer to test the battery , for example the p80.
Im pretty sure the video was posted will fix my problem.
FIrst time it lost power was half year ago, always I could increase power again with calibration, but now its on the highest level already and it is still weak,
so the obvious for me is the contact inside the TM.

I saw new Tinymight 2, i thought surely 2 batteries this time or is it really portable when you have to take at least 3 spares with you, nope still 1 x 18650 dated battery as far as i can see? or am i wrong
I only use mine of rare occasions when i go to frineds for a few hours, rest of my life is spent milking the rbt Splinter because you can update your mod to use 2 x 21700 batteries, less charging more energy efficent
Tinymight you need to make it for 2 batteries and call it biggermight use the 21700 as 18650 will be no more 1 day

Now I see why the power users swear by the desktop ball vapes. TM is the most powerful thing in its weight category and I see it as the promise of the grasshopper brought to fruition. Personally, no complaints from me about the improvements from TM 1 to TM2.

Yes, 0.5g a day is a huge amount for me. I am more likely to do 0.05g in a single hit or may be 0.1g to 0.15g in a session. I have 5 molicels and if friends came over, I wouldn’t mind changing the TM battery repeatedly (especially since I have both the TM and the TM2).

My OG TM is now vacationing in Ohio which is the opposite direction from Finland from me (MA) for its repair stint. Funny how shipping and DHL works.

I personally wouldn't want it any bigger or heavier. Portability for me is the size and feel of the unit - any bigger and it just wouldn't be portable.

Long term i reckon you will change your mind, what if your driving on your own 4 hours.... pulling over , man i stick to what i said above
also if your out all the time and nowhere to charge it, or if your out a lot compared to in at home a lot like me, tinymight get a pin head use in comparison to my splinter, therefore £230 vs the Splinter £70 + £35 for a twin battery 21700 mod for me and what i need for it's splinter allday, but it is better valued vs the Tetra p80 whereby it thrashes that being half the price, just recently made my mind up no weed vape should exist unless it's a 510 screw in, when you need an update you buy just the heater, i truely think people being in love with these things pushes prices up they are not hard to make it's hardly nasa tech, when it's really being stoned and not smoking its what you like
Improving on the splinter is the one, that has same issue as tetra p80 i think whereby mouthpiece comes out to easily if out and smashes on floor, is why i bought the tinymight, but it's for much less frequent users i feel , 1 new battery with me lasts not much more than 1 hour, say i was out for 12 hours without a plug socket lol

Battery life isn't such a big deal to many people, especially because you can get many big hits from TM before battery fail. Also the swappable and common 18650's make it not that much of a hassle. Just use an external charger that fits a couple of batteries and most people will be fine.

Energy crisis, of course people NOW worry about battery life , it will cost x10 to charge it unless your in a sun happy country and have solar power
x10 over 2 years = a lot more

I don't reckon so, I've used TM exclusively for 2.5 years. It suits my needs. Battery life is fine and I don't mind having extras and swapping, need be.
This was covered a few pages ago, and I think the rough estimate was $0.05 - $0.10 a charge.
But to each their own, sounds like TM doesn't fit your use. That's cool. I don't think we need to hear more about the splinter in the TM thread though. $.02

Ah okay first it was the hassle of swapping, you hadn't mentioned any energy crisis. But still though, people don't really seem to care? As it doesn't keep them from buying it.
It bothers me, being in the UK. But I have others vapes including Powerful butane in the Anvil. Once my TM honeymoon phase is over, it will be in a rotation, and used on hiking trips.
If I was a heavy user based in the UK or Europe, and this was my only vape, it would be a concern if I'm being honest.

Interested in grabbing a High Artisan terp pill stem and mouth piece but wanted to ask first if the cooling is actually noticeable from the 2, to 3, to a 4 terp pill stem? Hard ask which I realize, just wanted to be sure before I wait to grab a color I want.
Edit: also, can these be used with a TM v2 dosing capsule of anyone knows? The website says they are designed to be used with a filter basket, but is that necessary if I just want to pack the bottom of the stem with herb and go?
