TinyMight / TM 2

Some people have caps they use for the ends the carry pre-loaded stems around.
surely it will be the next purchase (after asking you the measures or where you buy it in EU) but first I try it and see if I also need some other glass stem or check if I have compatible ones as well as maybe an extra bag spare parts

I wanted to welcome new TM users
Looks like you already managed to run out of Ville's stock in 24 hours:lmao:
If previous versions were so good this new TM2 can only be better. I still use my original TM many times a day...too many maybe...it had the electronics replaced but it's still my faithful friend...almost 3 years later:rockon:

Just vaped the 0.2g in the Ti flavour not as good as glass. No nasty metalic flavour though. Cooled well with cooling unit. Still no need for stirring. No sign of heat ring, all evenly extracted.

I temp stepped from 4-5-7.
We need someone else to test big loads from an initial high heat, because I'm too high to function at work now.

You can't push the stem through on tm2 there is a metal sleeve with screen built in that goes above heater, undo the circle gromit thing the mouthpiece slides into and you will see....its a much better design.
That’s one of the biggest improvements IMO! What do you think about the heater screen protector?

Had a quick go, slightly lighter wood but no biggy, it will darken with age! Temp step 4 - 8 no stir, pretty pleased with that! Definately a different and better note to the OG.

TBH that looks nice but rub some wax / butchers block oil into it and it will definately darken .. I had a MF lanuch box that looked like it was cut from fresh pine ... but after a few weeks of use and the occasional oiling it darkened up loads!

What are the black rings on yours... they look amazing! I do like the metal finish too.. but I understand that was just the coating comming off through use!! lol

Anyone else feel a bit nervous when inserting Ti stem? Feels like I could scratch the sides.
It's unavoidable...you'll scratch it with use.
But if you always insert on the same side, the marks are hidden with the stem inside the device. Most of them... at least
(edit: I was talking about TiStem...)

They are very normal orings. They have three functions:
Block out the red light that comes out between the boards and the wood
Allowing the TM to be placed on top of my car without scratching it
Serves as non-slip

No... the finish of the plates has always been like this... polished aluminum! I don't have such rough hands:rofl:
The wood was darkened with black beeswax.

I’ve always admired those large black bands to mitigate the light bleed. I was initially not pleased my OG TM bled light but I got used to it and found out it was normal with the earlier units.

I’m crying happy tears for all the new owners of TM 2. I’ve yet to hear back from Tinymight (sad tears) about getting my TM fixed as it only combusts after inserting the battery the wrong way (and turning it on). No less on the eve of the TM 2 being released as I’m sure they’re super busy. Never good timing and mine is the worst. Adding salt to my wounds RED TM 2 will take time to ship from all early indications as no one is offering anything but Walnut. I will exude patience on both fronts - and use lots more indica… :peace:

So glad I went for the TM2, id almost given up getting a portable that could give me a decent hit and still be discreet but the TM2 is proving to hit on par with some desktops and it looks amazing as well as discreet. With the glass stem it kind of reminds me of hitting my plenty but ive not had that for about a year, not in taste just the openness of the draw. That was when i packed a little bit looser than the first few bowls.

Had a rare old time moving the CU from the glass to the Ti didnt realise there were different size o rings and ended up bursting a few trying to put the unit in so just used the little basket as it was going to be used as my WPA until I decide what accessories to get for it. I just used some rubber tape to creat a seal for 18mm glass, works a treat.

The build quality is amazing and the unit sits great in the hand, even as im typing now its comfortable holding while i type. My unit has a clear line between dark and light wood but the colour gets lighter/darker as it wraps round so there is no line on the other side, looks really smart. It is a bit lighter than i was expecting from the pictures so I might try the methods above👍

Big desktop like clouds on demand from your pocket anywhere, this thing is well worth the price tag to me. Swappable batteries isnt something I realised would be so beneficial but ive been thinking about handy they will be long hiking/camping trips even if going for a night out and you can easy take an extra battery or 2.

As far as portables go ive got a couple of crafty +, SB Runt, a few dynavaps and a Pax 3. The sticky bricks give me great hits, but with a big torch so they are not portable in the sense I can use them freely out and about. The dynavaps I use almost 100% with IH and through water so again not really out and about portables for me. The Pax 3 was an emergency purchase when I was on holiday and actually turned out to be quite good once i figured out the best way to pack it and got it on boost mode. It takes a lot of flower but taste goes pretty bad quick and was a pain in the arse to stir and reload. The crafty‘s have just always underwhelmed me, and especially if outside. The performance doesnt seem worth the hype in my opinion, but tbh their customer service was top notch. My 1st hit on the TM2 was like hitting a desktop add that to the looks, on demand, swappable batteries, I think this could become my daily driver for some time and probably lead to me selling a few vapes.

What's the best wood treatment for this thing? Pure beeswax?
From TM for TM2 wood -“I don't know about best but I've been happy with the beeswax / mineral oil mixture, it really brings out the shine of the wood when applied and can fix the surface if there comes some small scratches. The factory oil treatment is quite strong and is chosen to take care of the wood and protect it for a long time but it does not hurt to apply beeswax on it.”

Im more worried about scratching the inside of the TM.

RE-READ MY POST… I MENTIONED…

“The inside of the TM is a polished SS tube, don’t see that as an area that’s going to cause much if any scratches.”

You can’t see the inside, it’s a SS TUBE. I’d bet the titanium loading tube most likely has smooth polished ends as well.

Haha yeah the shipping thread got a lot more arrival posts, either way this thread is growing fast again!

Anyone here know which Molicel the units are coming with from the TM website? I was able to secure a purchase from the website and wanted to buy a few extra cells for continuous use and a charger and the TM website says P26A or P28A. I’d prefer to get the same cells - unless there’s no difference and it’s a non-issue?

There is no difference, they are both Molicell and basically the same, the difference is just 200mAh which is totally negligible, that's why the TM website isn't clear which one you'll get, it's whatever was in stock...

Also, I know there are some reputable websites to buy cells and chargers from but I’m not able to locate. Does anyone have a list of those websites handy?

18650batterystore.com is a simple reliable one that I use the most now for these cells especially

Hope this isn't a dumb question. Do I have to worry about carrying it around with a loaded stem inserted? Worried material will fall out and get through the screen protecting heater.

I wouldn't worry about that, generally, what I do is I take one hit at a very low temp setting, to make sure the load is seated in the stem then it is secure and I'm not worried about carrying it out loaded as much.

I temp stepped from 4-5-7.
We need someone else to test big loads from an initial high heat, because I'm too high to function at work now.

Haha I would actually really like it if people would test the low settings! Always surprises me that I'm the only one that does that, I'm going to use it as low as possible, especially during the day during work lol

One of the great things about TM is that you get very nice extraction even at the low temps. Some other vapes just aren't very satisfactory at low temps, especially after trying TM. I start at 3 when I want to focus on temp step in stead of hits, but even at that range it gives a very nice vapor. I haven't had that with any other vape I've owned, Splinter Z comes closest.

Mines arrived, its a work of art👍

The wood is beautiful and it feels a lot more solid than the OG no light leaks either!!
Not tested it yet but first impressions of look and feel of it are really good, definite improvement over the OG.

Massive thanks to @VapeFiend.com for a brilliant service as usual👍👍
I don't know you but, I just did a happy dance...for you....saying go SHORNER and my family looked at me funny. ENJOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Very nice vaporizer, but I don't have 350 euros to give, for a portable, sorry,.... if I have 350 euros left over, maybe, but I don't have any left over now. I prefer to buy grass, when someone from Europe decides to sell their old one... ..just let me know ..
Cheers folks
