It's a potent little bugger. Science tests halted for now let's just say.I love messages from users who are too high to continue their tests... or who have to go back to work after 3 charges

surely it will be the next purchase (after asking you the measures or where you buy it in EU) but first I try it and see if I also need some other glass stem or check if I have compatible ones as well as maybe an extra bag spare partsSome people have caps they use for the ends the carry pre-loaded stems around.
That’s one of the biggest improvements IMO! What do you think about the heater screen protector?I
You can't push the stem through on tm2 there is a metal sleeve with screen built in that goes above heater, undo the circle gromit thing the mouthpiece slides into and you will see....its a much better design.
Brilliant.....I also think the power button is a lot better, its alot less rattly and sticks out a bit better so im finding it easier to turn off and on.That’s one of the biggest improvements IMO! What do you think about the heater screen protector?
I’m so happy you guys like it! I’m in love with mine!Brilliant.....I also think the power button is a lot better, its alot less rattly and sticks out a bit better so im finding it easier to turn off and on.
TBH that looks nice but rub some wax / butchers block oil into it and it will definately darken .. I had a MF lanuch box that looked like it was cut from fresh pine ... but after a few weeks of use and the occasional oiling it darkened up loads!Had a quick go, slightly lighter wood but no biggy, it will darken with age! Temp step 4 - 8 no stir, pretty pleased with that! Definately a different and better note to the OG.
What are the black rings on yours... they look amazing! I do like the metal finish too.. but I understand that was just the coating comming off through use!! lolI wanted to welcome new TM users
Looks like you already managed to run out of Ville's stock in 24 hours
If previous versions were so good this new TM2 can only be better. I still use my original TM many times a day...too many maybe...it had the electronics replaced but it's still my faithful friend...almost 3 years later
It's unavoidable...you'll scratch it with use.Anyone else feel a bit nervous when inserting Ti stem? Feels like I could scratch the sides.
They are very normal orings. They have three functions:What are the black rings on yours... they look amazing!I do like the metal finish too.. but I understand that was just the coating comming off through use!! lol
I’ve always admired those large black bands to mitigate the light bleed. I was initially not pleased my OG TM bled light but I got used to it and found out it was normal with the earlier units. It's unavoidable...you'll scratch it with use.
But if you always insert on the same side, the marks are hidden with the stem inside the device. Most of them... at least
They are very normal orings. They have three functions:
Block out the red light that comes out between the boards and the wood
Allowing the TM to be placed on top of my car without scratching it
Serves as non-slip
No... the finish of the plates has always been like this... polished aluminum! I don't have such rough hands
The wood was darkened with black beeswax.

Im more worried about scratching the inside of the TM.You can polish out most scratches with:
And….
The inside of the TM is a polished SS tube, don’t see that as an area that’s going to cause much if any scratches.
Some pics please while I wait for mine to arriveMy unit has a clear line between dark and light wood but the colour gets lighter/darker as it wraps round so there is no line on the other side, looks really smart.
From TM for TM2 wood -“I don't know about best but I've been happy with the beeswax / mineral oil mixture, it really brings out the shine of the wood when applied and can fix the surface if there comes some small scratches. The factory oil treatment is quite strong and is chosen to take care of the wood and protect it for a long time but it does not hurt to apply beeswax on it.”What's the best wood treatment for this thing? Pure beeswax?

Ironically there are some pretty good pictures in the shipping thread. Some pics please while I wait for mine to arrive
Anyone here know which Molicel the units are coming with from the TM website? I was able to secure a purchase from the website and wanted to buy a few extra cells for continuous use and a charger and the TM website says P26A or P28A. I’d prefer to get the same cells - unless there’s no difference and it’s a non-issue?
Also, I know there are some reputable websites to buy cells and chargers from but I’m not able to locate. Does anyone have a list of those websites handy?
Hope this isn't a dumb question. Do I have to worry about carrying it around with a loaded stem inserted? Worried material will fall out and get through the screen protecting heater.
I temp stepped from 4-5-7.
We need someone else to test big loads from an initial high heat, because I'm too high to function at work now.
Just taken some but had to remind myself how to upload on here, will blame the memory loss on today extensive testingSome pics please while I wait for mine to arrive
I don't know you but, I just did a happy dance...for you....saying go SHORNER and my family looked at me funny. ENJOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!Mines arrived, its a work of art
The wood is beautiful and it feels a lot more solid than the OG no light leaks either!!
Not tested it yet but first impressions of look and feel of it are really good, definite improvement over the OG.
Massive thanks to @VapeFiend.com for a brilliant service as usual
