TinyMight / TM 2

My TM seems to begin acting strange.
I'm usually temp stepping after 1 or 2 good long hits from 4 to 5 to 6 until I reach 9.

It worked quite well like this, my TM was bought in October 2020.

In August 2021 I cleaned all contacts because of poor performance. After this my TM worked like on day1.

Now it seems that on temp 8-9.5 nothing really happens (no extraction). The warm up time is (when device is warm and used previously on 6 or 7) for 8 or 9 round about a second. I think that's strange. When I set the dial to 10+ I'm getting huge clouds as I used to have on 8 or 9 and the heat up time is as long as I'm used to. When the TM is cold and I start with a fresh load on temp 8 or 9 I get good clouds and the heat up time is as long as it should. So what's going on with temp 8-9?

So it's like this now: I start on 4, go to 5, 6, 7 after several hits. Then I go to temp 8 or 9 (nothing happens like I'm on temp 2 or 3) but when I go to 10 it extracts fine again.

I never adjusted the temps and my herbs are the same as every time.

I'm afraid to send it in... Before that I will buy a second one so I'm not without a tinymight anytime. I will contact the support soon but I think they won't be able to help me (or just do their calibration thing) because they could say 'ignore temp 8 or 9 then, if 10 works as it should'

Hi there. Yesterday I noticed the performance was getting worse. So I took it apart again and cleaned the whole device and it's contact points. Now everything is shiny and should behave as it did on day one.

Shit. Same worse performance. So I recalibrated my tinymight 1 step higher. Same problem, the higher temperature values gave shitty performance. So I wanted to calibrate it again and then I found the solution why my tinymight gives weak performance at higher settings.

I made a video where you can see that touching (pressing) the potentiometer changes the calibration color without turning it. So my potentiometer seems fucked. That's why my extraction is so much worse at higher temps.

Now I will order another tinymight, then I will send this broken one back to Finland for service.

I hope this helps other users with poor performance.

Edit: how do I get in touch with them? I don't have Instagram or any other social media. Shall I write them an email or should I open a warranty request via my order on the account page?

Warranty request via website is best way!

The Samsung was shipped with mine as well last week. I have ordered the Molicel P26A' s as per suggested by most here.
I posed the same question last week and this is the response, "We delivered it with a battery. We recommend genuine Molicel P26A and
Again?? :puke:We all know that... let people try it, because I'm not the only one to use this mod... and it's also aimed at avoiding what a lot of people complain about... the dark ring in the center of the greens

This mod is obsolete. Tinymight sells rimmed basket screens that fit their extra long cooling stem, EDS TNT WPA and a host of others. Their rimmed basket screens actually fit in the tinymight and go in and out seamlessly with Tinymight stems and don’t get jammed in the heat chamber like other .75” rimmed screens. Maybe this mod is old. They also sell conical basket screens everywhere that work with the stems as well and in a better fashion than this does.

Anybody know anywhere to buy ANY stems for the Tinymight that don’t require a WPA? A stem that can be inserted directly into the TM itself? I know, RBT stems work, I hate the Grav Labs, have done the rubies and balls in the CU etc. I want more stems that fit the tiny might like the Extra long spiked cooling stem they sell on the TM website…?

I think you're confused about what this mod does... It ensures the load is spaced a basket screens depth away from the heater ring in order to achieve more even roasting. It doesn't hold herb.

RBT stems don't work unless you want to invert it and inhale on the joint. They are a great WPA though.

Folks have shared lots of great resources for stems in this thread. If you are looking wood, Ed's TNT and Stem in France are great. For glass you have lots of options too. I don't have a roasting tube from @Alan but I hear good things about them. Mike (Good Vides Boro) is now selling his baller stems on OWW's site (scroll back in the thread to see mine). I have heard that @Vlad the Inhaler is also going to make Tinymight stems. I would get one of those in a heartbeat because his 19/19 stems are so great.

Edited to add: Oh! And I totally forgot the titanium stems. Search the thread for those if you are interested!

Good luck!

You're right @Cheebsy ;) a lot of people just glance at it and don't even understand the real objective...:mental:
We're all high, we hav to forgive each other.

I'm thinking that as time goes on, we'll see similar things happen. People selling their units with the OG boards. Even though many of us have multiple vapes.

There are still people who couldn't imagine being without the TinyMight for the time it taKes to repair and shipping both ways.

I just checked the order details page for my order on tinymightvape.com, and there were updates from Feb 14th! Same story, DHL returned the package, so now I have a UPS tracking number!

For anyone caught in the DHL/UPS unknown, check your order details page. I did not get any email notification about the updates, so you may have new information waiting for you as well!

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
Well, stock does not mean you have to load a basket screen at the edge of the stem... I still think the mod is not at all necessary to control how much you load and where :shrug:sorry if that offends some people! :uhh::uhoh::cool:
you are right and I use to load farther away before I started using the mod. for you @Shit Snacks
its a improvement over the end of stem placement but I still get better results for my usage style with the mod. to each their own my friend, variety makes the world interesting:nod:

Just to clarify, was that last photo, using a rimmed basket screen to load? I'm not sure why you showed that since it is a whole other scenario, but agreed, to each their own lol I still would like to get more spares of those narrow rimmed basket screens to make it easier to use bent stems in the TM where you can remove the screens for cleaning... Maybe whenever I get TM#3!

sorry I forgot to show the pic of the rimless basket placement, it was set for mod (spaced back) but just used the stock heater screen with it.

I'M sorry, I swear the picture looked different when I looked at it the first time! Looked like it was the rimmed basket screen you were loading, apparently my mistake...

I am NOT getting a 3rd TM! I am NOT! No, I am not. Stop it....
Riiiiiiiiiiight...!

Pulled the trigger on the TM last week hoping it will complement the dynavap and the mighty
can you load the tinymight with similar size bowls as the dynavap or the mighty capsules?
Absolutely!

You control your 'bowl' size by how far in you set your CU or basket/screen, 100% adjustable!

I don't use this mod and agree that certainly you can load the stem somewhere other than right at the edge without the mod.

But my recollection was that the screen impacts the airflow to make it vape the load more evenly, not that it just forces you to put the load further up the stem. Again, I don't use this mod but just want to give dzoinp their due!

any long stem alternatives i can get from dhgate or smth that would fit the cooling units?

i made the mistake of not ordering the long stem with my tm, and the short one gets too hot to touch with my lips after a little bit of use (adding a dynavap fat mouthpiece helps with that but makes the vapour taste and quality so much worse) and in australia no one stocks the long stem or really any other tm accessories, and the shipping from finland or the us would be more than the cost of the stem itself

Have you got any wpa? I bought some cheap JHooks from dhgate that make a very cool vapor but they don't attach directly, wpa needed.

Why obsolete? I understand you dont see the point (or need) of using but calling it obsolete...harsh.....
IMHO its one less thing to handle on the go, you dont need to worry about losing the basket screen, it stays inside the unit doing the exactly same function of the basket screen so its a plus having one less thing to handle... initially i did the same using basket screens and now i dont see the point of using them...because this MOD does everything a basket screen does for you, there are even people saying it prevents debris falling to the heater although i never experience that "problem" so tell me one negative thing of using it, i dont see any....
Imagine yourself outside and you need to stir.... pick tool + stem + basket screen + TM, two hands four things to handle so its useful for many people... maybe you dont stir ok i get that, or you like to use a basket screen ok fine.
You just dont have the need to use it or see the point to use it.... others do.

You can also see it thru seller perspective, is this came already inside the unit what the point of selling or using basket screens? 🤔 one less thing to use or to get revenue....🤯
Cheers
