Thanks, I'll look into it. It's 14mm though, so I might need to buy a new j-hook. I'm going to check out Cannabis Hardware as well.

After a soapy hot water wash, I gave all appropriate parts an iso soak & then wiped them over with tissue & cotton buds. At one point, I noticed there was a small amount of grey residue on the tissue although I'm not entirely sure which part it came from. Also, when I was finished I could see the used cotton buds were faintly tinged grey when compared to an unused bud, but I was looking very closely. I also feel there was a slight smell with the initial burn-off, which has now mostly dissipated & I could see nothing visible burning-off when it was viewed under a lamp. Overall, I am happy with the out-of-the-box condition, but I will always carry out my own cleaning routine before using a vape - if nothing else, I find it's a good way to get to know all the parts, how it goes together and maybe gain a better understanding of how it works before I use it.
FWIW mine came with the larger o-ring on the top section of the cu, & the smaller o-ring on the bottom section.

I'm going to talk and share with you (I don't think I need to talk about it with my wife 
) unfortunately mine smelled a lot of the electronic board even the metallic heating system, nothing serious I'm used to both with the vaporizers bought in the past and because I it often happens to buy atom RTA for ecigs dirty with processing oils etc ... I still recommend cleaning the stems and the cooling system, with a few cycles in the ultrasonic washing machine with 96% food alcohol I am more calm (food because I had that , I clean the Ecg that I told you above and I do extractions for the aromas and I prefer it to iso because food alcohol, even if evaporating it changes very little) then I did two laps, one per stem with a really poor light herb, pulling without breathing at various steps up to 10, then I wanted to try it to see if the smell had gone away but I finished battery .... cmq heat to 10 the metal parts are difficult to touch (but it is a common thing at those temperatures even on other vaporizers).

wow the Vgoodiez stock selling out in <1 minute tells me I should wait for the excitement to settle and then purchase my unit. my TM1 is doing great and still hits fantastically every day. I told myself and my gf "not going to get the TM2 until next year" but damn...seeing the beauty of it and all these great testimonials, may have to make it a christmas present!

Has anyone emptied out the washers and nuts from the cooling unit and replaced them with rubies? I can get some 4mm pearls in there but it's a snug fit when I put it back together. Not sure how much expansion I'd be dealing with, probably not much?

I don't think you'd have a problem with pearls and rubies as I don't think they expand that much. I'm using titanium balls and what I've done is take the bolt out of the unit, slide one up toward the mouthpiece end, pour the balls in, then put the second one in. The only hassle is that the loose balls can spill when taking it apart for cleaning so it's best done over a bowl or a towel.
