Thanks for laying the future out so neatly for us but it has been so long since we heard about the Centauri or the Alpha that I assumed they had fallen by the wayside. The one video I remember seeing them in is also down... all we know so far is the Alpha is bigger than the Centauri?

Update on Joe's test carts:

#1 was filled with a full gram of delicious GDP wax - Assigned to back up/emergency use, it's in the prime of it's life

#2 was filled with a gram of cheap bho, refilled with a second gram - About a third of my way into the second gram I found the taste was starting to suffer and I could no longer get the full, thick clouds that a new cart could make.

I decided to reclaim to #3 and tear down cart #2 to see if I could find the beginnings of whatever declines the carts performance. Surprisingly the wick looked pretty good, it was certainly black but the heater was still able to be seen once I wiped off the oil:

Test cart #3 is going strong, even though it tastes like reclaimed oil I was able to prime it right away being gentle on 7.4v. No leaking or clogging but it is brand new...

My verdict with the new carts: A perfect disposable cart. Won't last forever depending on what you feed it but is super user friendly to load and use once you find your own strategy for managing occasional clogs.

AM I THE LEAK MASTER?!?

I guess if you want to really test a cartridge you should come to me lol.

I don't know what it is, but all my carts have been leaking except the 2.4 ohms. The carts don't leak while I'm using them or 5 minutes after, but when I go to use them the next day I see on the bottom of the cart has oil leaking and I have to clean it all up ( i'm quite a pro at it now, but don't want to be if you know what I mean)

Please help me anyone, this is being really annoying cause I wake up in the morning to leaky carts and have to clean them up with my "leak tools" I've become a professional now, but don't want to be.

ETA on those attachments? The only reason i havent bought one yet is because i want that nail cart when i get it. Not a big fan of the current carts. Their cool and everything, im just lazy. Personal preference.

all the oil I use is the same HHO superpure, but different strains but they all leak other than the 2.4, although I remember a 2.4 leaking once as well. the HHO i use is very unstable oil though. I hit the carts like sipping on them and they do produce milkshots when it's working. I also feel a clog when after a couple seconds of inhaling, but check the air tube with a needle and it's not clogged, so I'm not sure what that is?

Persei is awesome, thank you THC Scientific for making this and DubCRider for helping me out! And thanks to all the people on the forum for answering my questions. I would recommend this to anyone that really needs a quick and easy way to medicate and for those that have built a tolerance to more traditional methods. Do your research, it will be worth it to get you up and running like a champ.

Got 1 gram Girl Scout Cookie Oil, and loaded using the fill tool and turning the bottle upside down as the instructions in the box, straightforward instructions, i used a heat gun for my first cart, only loaded .6-.7 because did not want to deal with any leaks, was up and running, seeing small vapors from the first hit. and within 5-6 pulls it was producing some good clouds.

Question... the taste from the begining however didnt taste anything like cookie, rather hashy machine oil taste (it is a taste very similar from an thc-ecig solution another patient was making)... is this normal? I was using a 1.5 Ohm cart using the single 18650 3.7v setup

is now declining after 40-50 pulls, and becoming more of a machine oil taste, whats the best thing to do, add the rest of the oil or just start over?

I also got a gram of OG wax and a half gram each of strawberry cough wax and cherry wax that are all light deliciousness.

I want to get the max flavor and vapor from these from the 5 ohm carts i have, whats the best thing to do? anything before loading to get rid of taste, and how would i do this on persei, what setting should i be at?

(They were out of 4 Ohm and i am making an order for them now)

You have to prime the carts when they are dry, this will help with the taste, because the coil is oxidizing. We will incorporate this soon as our next production starts.

Great! I saw and was interested that El Co had GSC oil, glad you scored some, let me know how it hits you. Be patient with the priming. The best method will depend on the consistency of the oil/wax used. The quicker/easier they turn to liquid with heat typically the less priming required. I love using my Eclipse H20 vape to see how well they will liquify and other methods will easily render you the same info. There are lots of little signs that will point you in the right direction in terms what you are doing right/wrong. If you are still having trouble priming report back here with what is going on and I am sure everyone will get you puffing clouds in no time. Enjoy your new Persei, cant wait to score mine.

If you want to be safe, prime 4 and 5 ohms on 3.7v. You can hold the button down forever and it shouldn't burn out. If you think you loaded the cart really well you can even prime on 7.4v if you hold it for less than a second at a time...

EDIT: Oh if you meant heat it dry I think you meant pre-oxidize, and tbh I don't really risk pre-oxing my 4 or 5 ohm carts... I just load them :/

Yes, dry is before being filled. I am not sure if Bob was referring to priming the cart after or before its filled. Some folks found it easier and better to prime the carts at 3.7v then increase to 6 or 7.4v. I am not sure if for oxidizing a 4 ohm cart the 3.7v is better or not, but I am not sure if you have batteries for 6 volts or just the ones that came with the Persei. If you only have 3.7v and 7.4v options then I would say it would be safer to oxidize the 4 ohm cart at 3.7v, so you don't burn it out, if thats enough juice to do the job, I may be wrong.

Thank you! this really helps, do you feel the 4/5 are diff in taste than the 1.5? (ive only really got the persei today and tried only the 1.5 on the 3.7 so far)

I pre ox my 4's and fives... It helps ALOT, and haven't burnt one while doing it either. Make sure your batts aren't fresh off the charger... Press the button for 3-4 seconds, and let it cool for 30 seconds. Do this 10 times. If you give a little Sherlock pull(dont inhale) after the first, you can taste :S. The do the same towards the 10th, it tastes . Can be more than ten, or less, I lean towards more. Also you can speed up the 30 second intervals by drawing air fast for 10 secs to cool it down, I usually don't, as i am usually not in a rush, with a good cart rolling the whole time. Best of luck, and enjoy the persei...
Edit: I do this for 1.5's, 4's, and 5's. Never had 3's, but would do this if running at 6v but not 3.7v. Happy Vaping
Edit2: pre-ox 4/5's at 7.4v, and 1.5's at 3.7v. This will all be done soon hopefully, as THC is implementing pre-oxing in manufacturing.... Now back to testing to hopefully verify...
