BigDaddyVapor - Welcome to the HI thread. Will try to make the wait as short as possible. If you don't have the funds when I contact you, I will just let people cut ahead of you until you do have the funds. You won't have to start over. The original HI like the one shown in the first picture of the thread requires a power supply with a right angle plug end for it to set upright. The tall HI has a right angle adapter in the bottom section so that any straight or right angle plug end will work.

Now for some fun. I was looking through my October 1978 High Times and found an add for a bong I wanted to get, but could not afford. The concept could certainly be applied for vaporizing too.
Here is a scan of the add. I need to try to make a Vapor Hydrolyzer. 1978 was such a great year.

Interesting question on the PadHIwan. I don't believe so. Like Jedi and Padawan, there isn't any similarity in the words, nor connection with exception of the meaning itself. Padawan just denotes a student of the Jedi/JedHI ways.

I actually saw a similar-ish (in concept I guess) bong a few months ago, I can't remember the name now, but it was on the joe rogan podcast.
It used some kind of jet/turbine technology.
They measured their one in "chambers"
This one is equivalent to a 3 chamber piece, this one is equivalent to a 5 chamber piece etc.
I'll have to see if I can find it again...

Love the find on the ERBO Water Pipe u bwade wunner. It looks like a 14mm gong joint. If that is the case, it will work perfectly for an all glass roasting tube. Just wish it was made of glass rather than plastic.

staticsunn - I just ordered the brushed metal Hildbrandt from Rick and will let you know how it goes (I also just got ripped via my HI, but that's totally unrelated). It arrives tomorrow, I believe.

But of course, I'm keen for Alan's take as well, and I'm sorry you're having power supply issues.

I enjoy using the one on the far left the most since I can touch the silicone when the glass gets hot. If I'm going to use kief I'll use the all glass. The unbreakable stems are good for the visitors.

how does your'e nipple stay in the all glass stem.My nipple is a loose fit in my all glass stem.I ve tried a strip of silicone tube on the nipple to bridge the gap, but the gaps too small.
is your'e stem a one piece special from Alan or is it loose like mine when in use?.
You and sticks have made me wanna try the all glass tube out.after all this time owning the Hi I still havent really tried it.Love the different ways you can play..right, i m nippled out now .I ll nip off outta here.thanks
