fill your pfe with tiny glass beads and fit a drip tip with a screen to the end.
THATS IT, THAT SHOULD WORK REALLY GOOD!!!!

Slightly different version of the same thing that I useSo back on topic of cases/loading:
I got this nice hardshell case the other day. It's not leather, but it has a really nice exterior feel, and the interior is also quite nice and soft!
I can fit two, 2dram vials in there, plus an extra battery, and it closes smoothly...
The 2dram vials can load directly into the 'hopper quite easily, and my Delta3d Studios funnel also works to help fill the vials themselves! Quite useful!
Here is another thermocouple test:
Dang! Seeing those battery caps just made me think about several of my new batts which HL recalled that are sitting in kitty litter in a plastic bag. I hope no litter falls into the little venting hole on the positive terminal. Sparks could fly? I shudder to think.Slightly different version of the same thing that I use
Wrap them up tightly in a ziploc to avoid contamination, then put them in the kitty litter.Dang! Now why didn’t I think of that? My Hopper temp might’ve been too highWrap them up tightly in a ziploc to avoid contamination, then put them in the kitty litter.
I like @Ratchett s caps more than the full sleeves which I found a bit hard to get open. Love the caps.Dang! Last week I pulled a couple of them out of the kitty litter and used them again (as I had pre HL fire). They worked fine before and still do. I’m being vigilant with them however. My two remaining older batts are quickly declining. The Hopper is just too tempting for me NOT to use, which is why I bought one 3.5 years ago.
It will be interesting to see when HL gets new batts given two potential suppliers in the not-too-distant future...

They are perfect for the intended function, IMO.
Could someone please repost the pic, or a link to it, of the back end taken apart? I am apparently overlooking it somewhere when I dig around.
Thank you!!!
My SS Grasshopper has had issues with the temp dial getting stuck for a while now, since March I think... I figured I would use it until it fell apart.
A couple of weeks ago, it did.
Let’s tag @Hopper Labs for you. Hopefully they will see the tag and respond.Hi all!
I'm sorry for my low english level, I'm french and I bought a grasshopper the same day of the HL fire (12 NOV, bad luck).
I paid by Paypal, my order status is "in progress" but I don't know if I'll receive something.
Now there is a new model of the grasshopper and I don't know if the "old" model 'll be available again.
Do you think it 'll be shipped soon? How serious Hooper Lab is ? Should I ask a refund from paypal ?
I have ankylosing spondylitis and I'm looking for a vaporizer to relieve suffering of this disease.
Thanks.
Not exactly the one but now I see why the back ends can be so problematic at times. Those three contact points can wear down and/or get dirty. That explains why turning the back end back and forth and use of contact cleaner sometimes fixes them. This also seems like a way to predict if a back end may be beyond cleaning by the width of the gap under the dial.I don’t know if this is the picture you’re looking for but I took this when my back end fell apart:

Order ID is 50720Hey, let us know the order number via email at support@grasshoppervape.com or PM us here. We can then see where you are at. Thanks!
I'm not sure what size it is. I took my grasshopper to the vape shop and went through the ones they had till I found one that fit like a glove.what size is that drip tip? I want to order some im in the usa, a glass drip tip would be cool.
that's weird. I placed a pre-order for the new hopper on November 29th, and my order number is 5076xOrder ID is 50720
Thanks
I think orders were in stand by during 2 weeks.that's weird. I placed a pre-order for the new hopper on November 29th, and my order number is 5076x
Really? Only 40 orders occurred between @Malozorteils and mine? I didn't immediately jump on the pre-order wagon either....
(or are order numbers not consecutive, and this is only a coincidence?)
You must have ordered directly after me that day. My order number is 50719 lolOrder ID is 50720

Join the club. My RMA’d pre-order Ti works so much better at a lower temp - natively however since I don’t use glass much - than it did prior to the RMA. I’ll defer to HL and anyone else about the technical stuff - and I’m already a bit baked by my Hopper while grilling dinner - but repaired units work more efficiently and better. That’s allThis may be a placebo effect since it's been so long since I've had a working hopper but I don’t ever remember being able to whitewall my 1.5 foot bong on the first dial setting, ever. Before this repair I would only use my hopper on setting 5 – that was the only way it would whitewall my bong. Are these new heaters more efficient some way to enable extraction at a lower temperature?
