Absolutely, that's why I like it here so much...
And I just thought it was OCD. But it's not... It's SCIENCE!!
Wait, wait... which side of the avocado do you jam the hopper into?
I do have a serious question; I have no experience with vapes other than a one-time Volcano hit, followed by three years of the Pax products... and now the Hopper.
I'm having hard time really discerning ABV appearance.
I've been so used to the look of a ABV from conductively heated flower, that I'm questioning my usage "ritual" with the hopper.
For this question, let's assume a single kind of herb for consistency.
• The Temp range is 3.75 to 4.2
only. I know T5 is there, but to me it's like the "11" on the amp from Spinal Tap.
• During the course of a fluffy-full chamber, when I stop seeing some kind of appreciable clouds, I'm thinking it's either the battery losing charge, or the material is getting spent.
• I don't want to keep using charged batteries on nearly-spent loads. But then I feel stupid, feeling I'm just wasting material; and then I'm compelled to start representative piles of ABV. Oy!
So, my question to the seasoned vaporists - and regarding the hopper - do you squeeze the material for all its worth and throw it out when you've reached the point you feel it's not worth the battery juice, OR
Would you choose to favor the approach of, say, a total of "75% extraction", bankrolling the ABV, and maybe use it some other way?
I'm just frustrated when I can't demonstrate consistency with the hopper, looking for how you guys and gals deal with yourselves on it.
