Huh? Gratitude? Ingrates? Shame on us? What the....???
Let me break something to you. They are nothing more than a business that is manufacturing a product and then selling that product for a profit. Gratitude? You make it sound like they're some kind of charity that we should all be grateful to.
Criticism, expression of doubt about their integrity/abilities, etc etc is what all startups have to deal with.
Ingrates? You're actually calling many of us ingrates because we are questioning their business acumen?
The simple fact is, is that we, the buying public owes them.............nothing, however, what IS true is that they owe US, or at least those who have preordered product and invested (and I use that term loosely) in their fund raising campaign,............a high quality working product delivered within a reasonable period of time.
If anyone should display gratitude, it is the GH team towards the end consumer, not the other way around, and btw, that gratitude should be unconditional for after all, it is us that are providing them with the dollars to make THEIR dreams a reality.
If anything, the criticism that has occurred here SHOULD be a learning opportunity for the GH team going forward in regards to marketing, advertising and public relations. Understand human nature, with all of it's faults, and learn from it.
