Hey yall I got my Elev8r controller!!
And coil.

I bought the controller off Amazon so I had to stretch the coil!
I watched the video from Vgoodiez.
How did I do?
1623126368829.png

The heater isn't super tight in there, but its snug if i twist a little.
But i am scared to try it out!

Calling @Hippie , what do you think friend? :D:D:D

EDIT: well I got a ceramic cup ready, plugged in the controller AND.....
...the Elev8r immediately fell out of the coil :(

I picked it up around 410F, attempting to place on the bowl,
and it fell out.

------
OK it is back in. I dont know if it will fall out again.
Should I turn the controller on with the Elev8r set up like this?
Not sure if I should use the coil..?

my heater does not have a nub. Is that required?

Looks good. Mine didn't have a nub either. I just turned the heater until it got tight in one spot and didn't fall out. After a few mouths of usage, I can't twist it off. But that's ok. I'm using a j-hook now with my other heater and torch. The flavor is unreal. So how do you like it ?

I love it!
The flavor is VERY nice!
Yet it comes across much stronger than when I was torching.
I believe this is due to not having any rubies yet, so I have to run the temperature at about 700F to finish a bowl :)

The heater keeps falling out sometimes, when I turn the coil on. VGoodiez told me once the rubies get in there, they will keep the coil in place better. Not sure if i shoudl bother trying anything else in the meantime.

All this has really ramped up my thirst for a Tinymight...lmao...I just want lots of vapor quickly sometimes lol

Tremendous customer service by Vgoodiez. Glad we have a great community with great people!
Absolutely!! @VGOODIEZ Thank you so much💕❤️

EDIT: Speaking of which i just noticed Scott sent me some regular beads along with rubies for free. Thank youuu! :D :D

PS: So I have tweaked the coil multiple times and i THINK i got it to a point where it will stay in, even when it heats up.
Very tough to use the coil without the rubies!! Just in my opinion :)
Because i have to heat to 700F to get my AVB brown,
and that's a lot of hot air i'm inhaling!! :ugh:

A bit rough - luckily, I never seem to need more than one Elev8r bowl!
Truly the upside of this vape.
If the Elev8r had been the only vape I bought from the start, I would have saved SO much weed!
Because even after 3 back to back Sticky bowls, it doesn't make me feel like the Elev8r does...

Just popped in to say, the Elev8r truly is a vape like no other!
I feel like I now have my endgame setup...well almost*.

I have the Elev8r. (50% of the way there)
I have the lovely Goo Roo Large Inline. (30% of a good setup is the bong!)
I have the coil and controller, and rubies! (the 10% that brings the Elev8r from "awesome bang for buck," to, true "desktop power, heavy hitter, tasty low temperatures, and can floor even the most tolerant smokers!!"

This is really, the absolute best setup and I would recommend it to anyone!
I would tell you to go through VGoodiez and get the coil first time around!
(Getting the controller off Amazon wasn't that bad, but I would still tell someone to get it already-setup.)

( shown on My Mega Glove not my Goo Roo :) )

*to take me to 100, i require a Tinymight...sigh

Just lovely!

EDIT:

I'm so pleased with the Elev8r particular "ritual" as well!
Whatever temp you select it vapes the entire bowl evenly.
Pretty amazing actually.

Well with the rubies I was able to turn it down to 500F. Wondering if i should go even lower,
I probably could easily!
But I am wondering where people finish at.
Do you actually finish a whole bowl down low at ~430F?
Does anyone have temp suggestions?

2 weeks in.

Finally got the quartz heater properly placed, added the SiNi Ceramic pearls. Had my temps down to 365, 388 finish at 400-410.

Turned it off last night. This morning Auber coil wont heat. SMH.

A bit turned off with the whole setup at the moment. My heater is locked in the coil. There is no prying it out without possibly breaking it. So I'm out a heater and a coil now.

I'll just cop the coil and heater setup from VGoodiez next Friday. Swap my hot balls over lol.

Let my Taffee Bowle console me for now. (Exhales Gelato Cake...)

Put it in the freezer for awhile, then see if it comes apart.
Just lovely!

Oh wow! Very low temps.
I like to get my vaping done quickly, but it often takes longer time
to get me where i need to be.

I am at 500F again. Perhaps the waterpipe would affect this, how low i can go, etc?

With .1g loads and a shim in place (improves the coil and heater contact) one can get decent opening hits at 260, but it takes a five to eight minute heat soak first.

So i just got my PIRO today, and its giving me bigger hits out of my Goo ROO,
- Bigger than the Elev8r w/ coil!

There must be somewhere i went wrong, in the elev8r setup.

Bad Dog

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
The elev8r is so free flowing you might just be inhaling to fast try to go so slowly that the bong only just functions.

I use the Arizer EQ along with the Cyclone bowl as my Elev8r heater stand, works great
Me too! I use a 18mm Hydrafoot with the Eq bowl on there with the rubber side facing down towards the foot, and then I use the Elev8 "sick clip" to secure the bowl to the Hydrafoot. It works nicely and is very secure.

I used food safe silicone adhesive to glue the stand into the center of a clay pot and added a small handful of clay pellets. That way I can use the stand as intended as well as having a second space option to park the and coil in.

Yup, love that "Sick Clip".

I use this tool to stir my bowl and lightly tamp my bowl after each hit. Works great!

I set my coil temp at 680F and rip away. I also use a 18mm Female To 14mm Male Reducer Adapter Connector rather than
the stock bowl Elev8r provides

Is it worth buying the Ruby beads If all I use is the torch? I have a good time with it, but If the beads improve it I’ll take it.
