I also feel that , i think can be the very good seal with the 4 o rings from the air, makes no loss of temp. Can be an option...
Can anyone tell something about?
Another thing running in my head is ( sorry if is answered ) AA temperature osillates? I mean like the solo , always checking temp. with sensors...
Anyone knows ?

I find it hard to believe that any arizer product is turning your herb black. Are you sure it's not just really, really dark brown? Black = combustion. If it really is blackening then it needs returning under warranty.

As @VANVAS already said, it may be due to less air flow with your arizer air meaning the load doesn't cool so much when you take a hit.

Is there a reason why this product isn't medically approved? Is it because Arizer hasn't bothered to get it approved or is it because it doesn't meet the standards to get approved? So far the only approved medical vaporizer in Canada is the Volcano Medic and I assumed a Canadian company such as Arizer would be the first to get their products medically approved.

Approvals are only as good as the organization handing them out. I don't know of any approvals for the vape industry. the Volcano had some testing done early on and they have leaned on that for years. Is there a particular approval that you find valuable?

Health Canada, a department of the Canadian Government in relation to public health, has the Volcano Medic (basically a Volcano Digital) as the only approved medical vaporizer for patients prescribed medical marijuana.

Now, I'm as weary of the government as the next guy but something that's been medically approved by Health Canada definitely holds merit.

I found a small bubbler for my air today locally, it works pretty well! Didn't want to wait for chinese new year to be over and DHgate back up and running.

At first I was drawing too hard with the PVHE but I slowed it down substantially and was able to get much fuller hits. Still I'm not sure this gong works the best for this task (better with my solo). Do I have options other than PV?

As much as I like my Arizer Air.. I'm looking for something that can be a quicker ordeal altogether. I'd like to just be able to press a button and take a quick puff and set it down, instead of waiting (even though its not a long wait thats for sure!)

Does this mean I should look at wax pens? My brother was using something that was pretty nice. It looked like a globe or dome, above some concentrate or wax he said. Can anybody steer me in the right direction? I know one of you is probably an expert on other nice handy dandy doodads =)

I use my firefly for that. They came out with a new battery so it's a bit more portable, and it truly is on demand vaping.

That said, I actually bought an air because there were many instances the firefly wasn't doing what I needed it to do (the duties of a portable session vape, it was my fault not really the fireflys). Manually pressing a button, regardless of device, for 20-30 seconds sucks when you're trying to do other things. It's a bit like manual vs automatic transmission in some respects. You're more engaged while driving manual, but if you're in the city with a coffee and stop and go traffic you'd be annoyed shifting gears.

The air solved my firefly issues in that regard. So I think they compliment each other well.

They're a bit expensive though.

I dont mind waiting a minute or 2 on the Air, im use to heating up my EQ for 5-10 minutes then waiting 2 minutes or so for the bag to fill up, and i dont mind that either as i can just take a bong rip while waiting if im in that much of a rush.... But to me the Air is on demand vaping compared to the EQ.

The only other vapes i have experience with is the Volcano (friends), which isnt super quick either, and the Vapir NO2... Which i didnt like at all and ended up giving away. That one almost turned me away from Vaping completely.... so glad i didnt give up on it now.

To me the Air is about perfect... Granted im no expert on the matter, but its fast and works... I just wish the Air beeped when it hit proper temp, and this is just being picky... But at least once a day i turn it on and set it down to warm up only to forget about it for 10 minutes until i hear it beep and it cuts off LOL... An extra beep when it hits temp would save me a wasted session on the battery...

.....Or paying better attention "might" work too HAHAHA

A couple weeks ago I was curious about the rise in temp due to the sleeve, and also wondered if Arizer had any plans to ever make any oil/extract attachments for any of their vapes.. Here is their reply...

The silicone skin does increase the unit's temperature slightly, but the Air and all components have been thoroughly tested and there are no issues with using the silicone skin. Plus, the Air has many built-in protections to ensure the unit only operates at safe temperatures. It's a personal preference thing, you can use the Silicone Skin or not, as you wish.

We currently do not have any parts or accessories planned for use with extracts. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask.

Good information, thanks for passing it on.

Let's be clear, however, the temperature increase above is the temperature of electronics and battery, not the load. This is a closed loop system any increase in insulation is compensated for by using less heating power.

Since you seem to have their ears, you could perhaps persuade them to market the shorty stems, as well as turreted turbo stems, with air channels. Then, they will have options for their happy customers.

Domed screens seem popular among the Older Folks.....:rockon:
