Two questions for you fine people. Do you notice a difference between the 60mm and 70mm stems?

Also, I just ordered from PV, do theirs come with the 70mm?

I don't mind short vapor paths so I may end up ordering yet another stem (already have 3 extra on the way) from Arizer

Hey guys/gals, did we decide that Arizer is currently the only place to buy the 60mm stem?
Yep, only source AFAIK,

60mm are Shorty bowl & hit better IMO, tho not all stems are created equal; hole sizes in bottom of stem can vary from .035"-.055". Best to order a few at a time until Arizer tightens up QC in their glass department.

Just bit the bullet and ordered the air from planet of the vapes. 189, free shipping. Can't wait! I was on the fence bergen this and the crafty but couldn't justify spending twice the amount.

my solo will most likely be gifted to my roommate or will be assigned to a backup roll.

I'm sure you will like it, Just take it easy on back to back sessions, And try to steer clear of back to back to back sessions, It seem's that's what will make it overheat.

:shrug:I do it all the time. Havent noticed any problems so far! Honestly im not too worried because I bought it from PIU and they will take care of me if anything happens. I have triggered the overheating light once since I had it, pretty rare in my experience.

Maybe I will just keep the solo so if I ever have long sessions I can switch back and forth.

Now to read up on gongs....waiting for the pvhes to get back in stock. Any idea how long they are usually out?

so today I received my new stems, gong and black sleeve. and also got some stemcaps to try out. now on my first session with the new stem, and I prefer the new stem to the slightly shorter one I broke. better airflow.
getting a habit of breaking glass though, was trying out the gong with a three-armed treeperc minibubler I have, was ging to pack it for another session, I loose grip of my grinder a bit and it bumps into the bubbler, not even that hard, and now 2 of the 3 arms are broken off at the base...

Does Arizer have a list of authorized dealers? I want to buy one of these but I don't want to get scammed and end up with a fake. I already went through that with a PAX.. never again.

I just received my dome shaped screens from EBay that @Sinclue turned us onto. Really increases the air. I hadn't been using a screen because I wanted to increase the airflow.

These screens are really awesome, I ended up ordering 20. I thought I had forgotten to include them in my order so I ordered them again. I'm glad I have extra. A more even ABV color too.

EDIT
@MeditativeMind there is no list of authorized vendors, I asked Kevin from Arizer. He said the list keeps changing. If you want to know, email or call them.

You sure it's legit for that price? Or is that not in $?

P.S. Im NOT a fan of space case grinders. Just wanna throw that out there. I own one but have never been happy with it. I gifted my "good" one to a friend (that cost half the price of the space case at a bodega) before the space case arrived. I just figured it would be much better due to the price. WRONG. Metal shavings in my herb, gets jammed up, doesnt collect kief well... Just overpriced for what you get. I know im in the minority there though, most seem to love their space case... Maybe i got a lemon or something.

Going a little OT from Air talk: I also have a space case 4-piece 2 incher. It's definitely built solid but i wasn't thrilled about the grind it produced. I bought a Mendo Mulcher which I'm alot happier with. The holes are smaller and more abundant, giving me a finer and easier grind. Mendos aren't cheap either, but not as pricy as SC. The build quality is even better than SC, or Santa Cruz shredders for that matter. But most people outside of california haven't heard of Mendos, so they assume its not in the high-end grinder category. Did you get a replacement or are you gonna stick with your SC?

Why didn't they use a microUSB charging port :( Are they really going to lose or make much money by not using one? Doesn't make sense. Oh well, it's not a deal breaker at all.

Does anyone know the size of the pin or what it's called?

If there is an adapter that has a female microUSB on one end and the charging pin on the other, that would be perfect to keep in the carrying case.

I have a SpaceCase and I used to recommend it to everyone thinking it's the best. Ever since I got a Santa Cruz, I haven't touched the SpaceCase.

Look back a few pages there is an adapter cable found by @OF; really cheap goes from USB to the charging pin.

I actually asked Arizer why they didnt use a microusb. Their response was that USB has the right voltage but would be too slow since it doesnt have enough current. In my original email I addressed this saying a 1 or even 2amp charger could be used. I clarified and reasked but they never answered me.

I use my Air in back to back sessions about everytime I pick up the Air. I am really beginning to feel left out because I have yet to see the overheating light.

I always do 2 sessions in a row at a minimum. Still Running 2 in a rows too.

Before i had the issues with overheating though..... 4+ in a row wasnt uncommon. Now i keep it to 2 at a time.

Still have the SC... But only because i dont want to drop coin on a grinder right now. When i do, this one will be going in the trash. I dont have any friends im pissed at enough to warrant giving it away to them.

I use to have a 4 piece 2.5" Lancer grinder, i swear it was leaps better than the 2" 4 piece SC and only cost around $25. I liked the ground consistency better, collected more kief, and also it was easy as could be to grind the herb and to screw/unscrew the parts together. I may order another one eventually.

Mendo Mulcher for the win.
I picked up a 2 piece Mulcher when I got my first vape (MFLB), I still use the Mulcher!

I'm surprised more people aren't buying the air from massdrop. Is there a reason? I almost bought one but just got a Lily for stealth and still have my solo for everything else.
