the solo stem takes more effort to get in then the two Air stems for me even though I use them all equally.
Wow this is what I've been waiting for and they are kinda expensive, greatGood day to everyone. I've been a longtime lurker but finally decided to join the community!
Had my Air since the black Friday deal and enjoyed it to the fullest. Sadly I regret not picking up another battery but alas, I have a back-up solo...
Been keeping up on this thread but I haven't seen any posts on the dual charger and car charger on the Arizer site. Looks like we have USB connectivity after all! If anyone wants to fill us in on the implications of a USB charger for the Air, that would be great! I'm lookin at you @OF

ARIZER sells different chargers for each unit (including the car-charger which is pictured with a USB cable for the AIR ), but doesn't specify much about either. Does the charger(s) for the SOLO also work for the AIR, or do they have different 'outputs'?
Anyone own the AA car-charger yet, which is pictured on ARIZER with a USB cable? Being able to charge the AA via USB would definitely be a positive for me, & for many others I'm sure.
No word on the 'factory charger' yet (that I know of), but I expect it to come next month with the release of the product to distributors. AFAIK they never said anything about a car charger.
USB charging is a possibility (at least in some cases). This is the cable I cobbled up to test it:
However, the current demand for charging (about 800mA) exceeds most USB ports (and the USB spec itself) so it's an open question IMO. It might just reduce the charge rate, or, it might trip the protection circuit in the port and shut it down. I tried two computers, my desktop tolerated it OK, the laptop locked the port out. Both Dells, BTW.
Using the same sort of cable plugged into an auto USB supply like this:
http://www.amazon.com/RCA-Mini-Power-Outlet-Charger/dp/B00BMGTASO/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1418928094&sr=8-8&keywords=auto usb adapter
The rub would seem to be the cable. Perhaps if we ask Pipes real nice......

I believe you're mistaken, while they sell a charger for Solo, no such accessory is listed for Air:

OF what is the port exactly called at the other end of the usb that goes into the air to charge it. I'd like to try and grab 1 on ebay and do a test ?
WTF?!?! You are absolutely correct (ATM). When I wrote my original post, I had been on their site for a while. I was not mistaken. It WAS ON THERE WEBSITE less than an hour ago!!! What the hell. Now I look like an idiot. I should have saved the photo &/or gone ahead and purchased the damn thing.
What happened!? Perhaps ARIZER got some kind of notification that "talk of USB chargers" is going on over in the FC forums. "QUICK...pull those chargers down off the site! We weren't supposed to sell those yet!!!"

Im confused , looking on ebay for something cheap to try , would this do even though its in canada and im in the U.S. - http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-A-to-DC...ader_Chargers_Sync_Cables&hash=item3395a9615c4 X 1.7mm, but they come in several lengths. Most are standard EIAJ-02 (what Solo uses):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EIAJ_connector
However, you want the (somewhat rare, non standard) longer version Air uses.
You're welcome.

I see it, refresh your cache or something. New chargers are up

yeah i took a screenshot..
I thought something had to be wrong, thanks for finding the problem... I was going crazy.OK, it seems there are two different links (similar names) now working:
http://arizer.com/store/en/19-arizer-air-parts-accessories
http://arizer.com/temp/en/24-arizer-air-parts-accessories
and which you end up linking to depends on how you got there (nothing to do with cache)? Still no new stem...... IMO the web master has some work to do......
Certainly not worth $45, whatever it is.FWIW, that's a lot of bucks for the mains charger......I wonder what's so special?

1. Any compatible (i would assume rubber) "caps" for the bowl portion of the stems. You know, so I can pre-load 2x Stems and throw them in the pouch without all the good stuff spilling out?
@Nytron -- looking at that pic, that is the perfect place for a cotton or hemp fiber filter. I just put on in mine yesterday but haven't started using it yet. Just a small amount pulled apart to make it wispy. It would make vaping that reclaim a breeze and keep things clean.
Tried to comb through most of the pages here-- may have missed it.. so forgive me beforehand! I was trying to find some input on the following:
1. Any compatible (i would assume rubber) "caps" for the bowl portion of the stems. You know, so I can pre-load 2x Stems and throw them in the pouch without all the good stuff spilling out?.
3. I'm finding that I don't like the constriction on pulling the vape, I wish it had more airflow. Would the Turbo be my best option, or possibly a Ed's Wong?
PS. If you are thinking of buying an AA, you should get at least one extra backup battery. You're gonna need it!
Most of us use half inch vinyl caps, which you can get from PV:
http://www.planetvape.ca/solo-vaporizer-travel-caps-2.html
The low temperature ones are softer, easier to put on and get off. The high temperature ones are best saved for emergency capping of hot stems.
