I been using the sleeve since day 1 when this vape came out. I always thought it may help retain heat a bit better. I could be wrong but i am kinda feeling like a change so i may go naked soon.
Free lifetime supply of meds.So if you could change one thing about the Air what would it be?

I love plastic tip stems, but hate dealing with the mini gasket and having to take this thing apart to clean.

Talk of overheating is nonsense, the Air knows what temp to maintain and it will do just that.

would be awesome too!Free lifetime supply of meds.
You'll never get it to fit in the AIR with tape.this is the second battery that the casing has been compromised right around the positive end. Last time I didn't realize it, and while putting in charger, it started to smoke. This time I noticed it before charging. There seems to be a weakness around the positive terminal, where the is a bit of a space under the casing that can be perforated rather easily (not solid underneath). Be careful here.

Is it worth trying to "re-insulate" with electric tape, as battery was purchased last month? Or is this just dangerous garbage as I suspect? And do you think you can preemptively tape new batts to cover potential weakness (IE: one thin, neat layer, just below end cap).
Electrical tape will likely be too thick.this is the second battery that the casing has been compromised right around the positive end. [EDIT] Way too many search results, any advice on purchasing?
[EDIT/EDIT] BUY PBW ON AMAZON

Today I see I forgot my batteries in the charger. I left them in at least 10 hours. Did I cause any harm ?
I ordered 2 more on puffitup (like $15 each with discount).Yep, Amazon is an attractive source. I bought my last jar there in fact.
You can also buy it (in smaller amounts often) at shops that sell home brewery supplies. Go figure, it was designed for brewery use (Coors paid for the development). A pound jar should last many years. Even giving the stuff to friends like I do.
The stuff is just shy of amazing. When 'the Oxygen action' gets going you can watch trails of bubbles (like in beer) rising from bits of junk on the glass they're trying to get under. Watch close, the offending bit ends up drifting off 'on it's own'. It's especially fun when they bring out the bong that's too nasty to use where someone can see (left over from that nasty blazing habit)......watch them, not the glass for the most fun as a spectator......
I doubt there's enough room for even thin electrical tape. You can cut the whole jacket off and get some of the very thin heatshrink factories use (I bought mine from All-Battery IIRC). Or use thick paint (I use fingernail polish, but don't tell anyone.....). Be sure to cover well, up onto solid jacket, so it won't continue to tear. Or, since your name includes brave, you can safely ignore it once in the Air since there's no metal in the battery well to make contact with that area. If it were mine, I'd load it and go (charging in place) but that is not without risk as soon as you take it out again. Then again, it's only ten bucks.......
If you used the factory charger it should not be a problem. Worst case you took a minor bit off the lifespan. That's not true for all 18650 chargers however. I've discarded a couple that did not not drop to zero current in the end, it seems they continue with a small current as part of their battery sense routine?

thanks friend, and tried electric tape, won't fit (you're right again). I can see it being okay if it just stays in there, but taking it in and out and putting on charger is what stressed it (I'm assuming). What about teflon tape (plumbing)?
