Nice! I ordered one as well.. I was initially going to buy it off Ebay for $2 less, but it didn't have the car charger adapter, which is vital to me. Also the ones I saw on Ebay didn't specify if they were the "2015" versions. Cheers

Also received the domed screens.
If you cant shape and trim your own screen then this is the way to go.
I also push the dome flat and you have an instant shorty stem.
Cut the bowl size in half.

Anyone have tips on reinstalling the rubber heater cover? I pulled on the wrong corner...and pulled it out of whatever hole/slot it was in. =.=

Just put the cap in your arizer air box. I did that the first day I recieved it. I like it much better without that stupid flap in the way. The way I use the air, I leave the stem in unless reloading. It also looks more like an ecig without it.

Its in a slot and the tab on the cap should be rotated 180 degrees and this wouldnt be a problem,or use one of the round holes.
What I did is hold the cap under cold water, dry and put it on the Air then push the tab back in the slot
If you really want it to stay in I say try and pull it through the round hole with dental floss, you may want to enlarge the hole to the next drill bit size.
BUT BE CAREFUL Arizer DOES NOT SELL sell the top grill part yet,
Since I keep the AIR in the included case I put the cap in the box until I feel like messing with it.

Sure. Screw the cover on and pick the hole (slot) you want to put it through (probably at the back?). Then you can try the 'blind side' press it in and rotate past the bump on the stud technique. A better one is to start it in and reach up inside the cap (or down through the big hole from above) and pull the stud through (rather than pushing). This is better in that it stretches the barb out rather than forcing it though. Needle nose pliers or hemostats are good choices for tools.

Normally you cold lube the stud up to help it slip through, but we don't really want stuff left in the area I think?

I'm with the others, I pulled my caps off Air and Solo and put them somewhere to lose. Since I don't throw them in a coat pocket or backpack no lint or spider nests likely (although I do check in case.....).

I'm not in the UK, but I'd thought I'd give my :2c: on how awesome they are. The first week that I had my AA i was purely using normal screens ordered from PIU. I was satisfied with them; they did their job and I could happily vape without worry of particles getting through the MP. I was getting nice clouds consistently.

The next week, I received my order of 5 domed screens for roughly $6 on Ebay (special thanks to Sinclue for the post). I packed this screen in the stem, which fit perfectly (it's a nice, secure fit). I immediately noticed that when you pack in herbs, the dome forms a nice bowl-shaped basket, and this basket can be filled to the brim quite easily. You don't have to pack a large bowl, certainly not as large as you would pack with a normal flat screen. I fired up my Air, slid the stem in, took a few rips, and here is what I took away from it:

First, I was getting even thicker hits than before, and seeing more vapor production than with using flat screens. I believe the reason for this is because the herb is naturally more tightly packed, thus all of the herb was getting toasted, vs. about 85% being toasted using a flat screen. Second, I noticed right away that I was getting more rips out of a single bowl, with less herb packed in, as compared to a flat screen. I got about 7-8 thick rips vs. 4-5. This is simply because the herb was being toasted more efficiently, since the herb was packed tighter and all of it being toasted. To get right to the point people, these screens are a must have. You're vaping experience will be instantly enhanced - dare I say a 2x improvement overall. I would love to try out these screens with a PVHE turbo stem, that would probably be peak performance for a "easy draws to thick clouds" ratio. Has anyone tried these bad boys with a turbo?

Okay thanks very much for the heads up :) going to try some flat screens first as I can easily get hold of them and go from there!

Also Air master I got my medium sized case today and is perfect for what I need to carry :D very happy!

Just over 3 weeks combustion free now! :D

Sweet :cheers: I love the portability of the AA and the medium case makes it even better. It's a tight fit but that's the whole point of it - to embrace the "compactness", if you will.

I've also been about 3 weeks combustion free, although I have noticed that I now appreciate the speed of using combustion, especially from a water pipe.:science: Don't get me wrong, I love my AA, but over the years I got used to hitting a bowl and finishing it in seconds, which definitely came in handy during long multiplayer gaming sessions with friends. :p But now that I've been vaping for the past few weeks, I see how much more advanced and evolved it is than combustion and I find myself asking, "Wow, why didn't I start vaping (consistently) a long time ago?" Now I'm interested in getting my first desktop home vaporizer (maybe the Herbalaire or Arizer Extreme Q, both moderately priced "beginner" vapes).

Hey glad you like the Air man and no worries , us vapor's can still get quick hits on demand to avoid combustion . Thats what the Mflb , lotus , daisy and a few other vape's are for. Give them a look if your still looking for those instant hits .

Honestly, i know precisely d*ck about this except that the 12 bucks works and was well spent. Output, voltage, etc......it was a gamble.

Anyways, i missed the last ten pages, personal issues haven't been on.
Any needed cliffnotes lol?

I saw a few pages back somebody showing pics of "e-go" cases that fit the air.
I also bought two for 15 from my local headshop (ones great for my pinaccle)and I'm very happy with them.
The large can even hold a replacement battery and fits in your jacket pocket

My unit seems to have a 3-step battery indicator; Green-White-Red

I have started up on a Red battery and still got a solid "green" session out of it.

I've tried using a 'heater screen' (as pictured) a few times, I think I prefer it just for cleanliness and decreased bowl size. Coming from low-dose logs, it fits my style better. If I plan to share a bowl, I'll fill it fuller and run screen-less.

I get a bit of material in my mouth from time to time, I'll have to try another screen inside the bowl. I'm also considering a bit of hemp in the tube, should be easy on the glass stem, unsure of how practical it would be in the plastic tip piece.

Installing/removing the stems into/from a cold vape is a bit tough.. When its warm its fine, maybe the silicone(?) will break in a bit more.

Its been a great 'out of the house' vape thus far, that is also very shareable and easy for 'smokers' (you know, those people who use a fire to burn plant matter and inhale it into their lungs) to learn. ;) They can still see a vapor for some visual gratification. But more importantly they can TASTE the herb.

So rewarding being able to easily, simply, and quickly share/introduce others to vapor.
