I am slightly refining my method, dropping my boost settings to 460f start temp, boosting up to 600. I was finding that too high a boost temp and too little a dab was too easily a predicament, making clean up more difficult with a dried out/crusty dirty dish.
Dropping the temps means my margin of error is reduced and I have more time to clean up in case I forget what the hell I'm doing mid dab
Also, with a different size dab, hitting the boost button at different times during the dab - for instance, a large dab, maybe boosting the temp before the dab has hit the dish, or with a small dab, leaving it till the very end/at the start of the inhale, just to get the last bit/best bit
EDIT: And once I can see the dab is drying out, getting all thick in the dish and about to stop giving off the goods, I hit the button to drop temps again and ensure clean up will stay easier for longer.
Boost mode is really handy.
