No need to debate. If you have a 3 battery mod you'll still get a ton of seshes especially if you milk the battery by using residual heat to your advantage.

Edit: haven't been posting much about my vapes lately but everyone seems to be a doing a good job keeping info flowing. If anyone has any testing they want to see or any questions for direct users lemme know and I'll see what I can do. Loving the Splinter Z every way I use it.

The best thing about the Splinter Z (and basically all RBT vapes) is it provides hits far larger than I can possibly take. I want my vapes to be able to wreck me if I abuse them. I don't like them to take the abuse and not reciprocate, if I hurt them they better hurt me back.

Fear's not the battery fear is me dropping and breaking it lol. I decided it's coming along this trip. I will just keep it in the camper nice and safe. I have extra 100amp AGM battery in camper that I use just for charging toys running music and outside light show for when we dry camp.

Really be kinda hard not too bring it. I honestly thought about it and don't see myself getting the mail tomorrow. Then tossing the Z on a shelf till Monday or Tuesday when I return.

Yea I have seen some of your clouds :) for me it's more about getting consistent and steady strong hits.

It' rare I do killer hits but still want the power there if I desire one. Been thru a lot vaporizer that didn't withstand the usage I put them thru. Only RBT thing to ever break on me is the glass and that's due to my hand issues.

Picked out some nice meds to test the Z with. From some stinky blue cheese to a super sweet strawberry diesel. Also some CBD AC/DC to help keep me grounded.


Going be a good weekend :)

This might make a nice combo with the larger sized splinter Z. From my understanding the older tirade battery cover do fit the newer DNA250c.

Haha, I meant something to put in it as in pot. I've been dry for like a month with nothing in sight. Went with a cheap little VTC mini for the mod.

What kinda weirdo buys vapes when he can't even get pot?

Got my Z today. Slapped it on a paranormal with @HerbieVonVapster dna 250c files (used the standard splinter profile).

Have done three bowls with it. The water pipe hits are amazing. Just the stem I get nice vapor but not thick or a lot like some of the vids. I got the hi flow quad hole one and still figuring out technique on the inhale. Love the couch sessions I can now have. No need to get up lol.

I say so far I love it.

Awesome I have a feeling we might need to use a different material file for the Z on the DNA mods. But least current one is working good for now.

The splinter Z use more wattage so can use the device monitor to see if it maintaning temperature when you draw. If it's not and shows your using max wattage i bump it up by 10-15 watts see if it helps.

To Dubmonkey & everyone else who bought the 4-hole:

As you're playing around with it in days to come, at some point, when using it dry, do me a favor & try blocking off 1, then 2 holes & let me/us know how this affects vapor output & harshness. Also would appreciate your opinion on this through water.

Please everyone, when you post your thoughts do be sure to make note of whether you have the 2 or 4-hole version.

Quick question: Ryan said for burn off, use 70 watts and blow into a clean mouthpiece for about 10 secs. Is this be repeated or is once enough?

Just received mine. Mine also has a rattle when I shake it. Has anyone confirmed if this normal or not?

Look like the screen is little loss inside the splinter_Z. Going do a breakin run. Will try to post some pic later:)

No, it rattles without the mouth piece attached and not on a mod box. I don't even have to shake it.
Just turning it right side up to upside down you can hear something moving in there.

I'll try to get a video of it later.

Very strange. Never seen this and I have over a half dozen Splinter models I have dealt with.

I have 2 splinters and a z, none have this issue. I would send an email to Ryan.

My rattle is from the screen inside the Z. After couple of use the screens is moving less. Feel it's not worth sending back. Sure doesn't seem to affect the performance

I used it with both 2 hole and with 4 hole. I prefer the 4 hole.

Will post more detail thought later. Here's a picture of the new splinterZ and stem.
