Calling FC members "trolls" violates our Be Nice rule. Warning point issued.
Good evening!

Hope everyone is having an amazing week. As you all know FC has been instrumental to the success of RBT, we are forever grateful to all of our supporters who defended us during rocky times. We would also like to thank all of the trolls for keeping us on track and focused! We love our supporters and trolls on FC so much we are giving you a weekend flash sale of 33% off your order. So please go use the code "RBTlovesFC" And i heard your concerns during the last sale of not wanting the Milaana 3 preorder to go lower than the early bird price so Milaana 3 preorders will not be included in this sale.

Sale will last from right now until Sunday night at 11:59pm.

I got a v2 that the inner glass broke on the first time it fell. Any way to buy a replacement glass so I can still use the v2? I also have a Z that the inner glass came loose on its own that I glued back so it isn't rocket science in getting the glass to stick to the wood. Sucks to spend $130 on the v2, and only need a piece of 1 or 2 inch glass to fix.

 The ol' back handed compliment sale! I read this thread pretty religously and I see nothing but love for RBT in here. The only complaints are from people trying to figure out how to set up there mods. Seems like that would be a standard issue when you are only retailing 50% of the setup needed to make the Z functional :hmm:

Hey @Stu Does FC have any rules against grandstanding?
We have rules about company bashing if that's what you're referring to, and the post you replied to isn't even close to violating that rule. We also have rules for manufacturers that you agreed to, including:

If a member gets personal with you, as far as losing their temper or getting out of line in any way, as far as proper forum protocol, you should ignore the post and not respond. We urge all members to report an out of line post and not respond to it, since a response tends to start an argument, and it often gets out of bounds.

Feel free to ignore any posts that don’t require factual info as a response. If a member specifically addresses you about info, it’d be a good idea to respond (within your limitations), but if it’s just an opinion that you don’t agree with, even if addressed to you, responding may just be argumentative and not a good idea. In general, opinions are for members, and you're here to provide info. Keep in mind that you have no ownership of the thread, even if you'd started it.

  • No trolling. Please do not post any content that disrupts the peace and harmony of this board. Don’t post for or the purpose of starting a dispute.
You seem to have mastered the technique of projection; trolling members while calling out trolls. the old "you're a towel" defense is not going to fly here any more so I suggest you take care in how you post going forward or you will be met with further warning points (in addition to the warning point I'm giving you for the above post).

Thank you for your cooperation.

Pretty psyched, just ordered a Z V2. I'm happy to dig through the thread for TCR settings, but if anybody has a handy link I'd love that. I use a wismec rx 2/3, so DNA profiles will not be much help. Thanks all!

This works very well for my V2 but my Zs are all on DNA mods so I'll leave the real Z TC settings to someone else.

I tried that method but came up short. That is why i'm resorting to asking my question on this forum, since you seem to be active here. I will easily pay for an inner glass and easily install it myself. Feel like I shouldn't have to throw away a $130 product because a $5 piece of glass got cracked in it. Feel me?

Hey bossman, what settings do you use for you Z on the DNA? I got a DNA75 and was wondering what settings to use the Z at other than wattage mode?

Love my Zv2 but I keep running into an issue with my dna 250 where the ohms won’t remain locked in the profile after I’ve uploaded my settings.

sometimes I have to re-upload a bunch of times over before it seems to take. I also had this occur on my custom Z. I just never have found a lasting solution.

Kinda wish I had a 250c to play around with but I imagine this happens with those mods as well?

I recall Herbie saying it was best to keep resistance unlocked on DNA mods. Also I have a DNA75C listed in the classifieds, although it's just a single 18650 one so not ideal for a Z.

I recall reading the same from him, though I feel like I’ve also seen plenty of people advocating to lock the resistance.

I’ve only been attempting to lock in resistance for my Z because my Z profile seems to underperform compared to the regular Splinter profile. Lately though even my Splinter profile seems a little light at 445.

with the Z profile I was thinking locking in a higher resistance would darken the herb closer to what I am used to. I was trying to put my resistance to .401 but anytime I fire it seems to automatically jump up to .43 and higher.

I think that's how it's supposed to happen and mine do that even when the resistance is locked too I'm pretty sure

The resistance value is actually the fudge factor that is used to calculate the temperature for TCR, therefore if it is allowed to vary then you will not get consistent temperature control.

Just purchased a Splinter Z via /r/Ent_Exchange. What is the TCR setting for the Splinter Z? I know it may vary from unit to unit but I would like your input.

If I read that correctly then when I see the resistance fluctuating that I should hold off?

I really can’t figure out why my resistance continues to fluctuate after being locked.

thank god I’m not this incompetent at everything I do
