I noticed you coughed a bit, is that normal?
My wife sometimes coughs with the PD, but not from heat. "It's so smooth I can't tell I'm getting a big hit" is her comment. :ko:

Of course you can use the video as you please, anyone here can. :)

I noticed you coughed a bit, is that normal? How do you find the heat of the vapour? Unfortunately I'm sensitive to heat.
Not usually. I had just taken an extremely large hit. The heat from the vapour isn't bad at all. It's palatable and warm. It gives almost an oily sensation in the mouth.
your were ripping that for a long while my friend. :brow:

Taste, visible vapor, sick of this bowl and wanna fresh one

I go for 3 - 5 hits from each bowl and then discard to be re-vapped later at a higher temp thru my box vap. Bit I have also managed 8 hits from a single bowl but the last 3 or 4 draws were thin and tastless.

The PD will never burn.

If you want to get maximum vapeage you could put your herb thru a coffee grinder. The manual grinders work ok, but I think the size that it breaks it down to is better for the types of vapes where you have to stir every couple of hits. When you stir, you also break down the plant matter so that more surface area is exposed for future vaping. With the PD, hard to stir and break down your material in the small bowl so I found running my medicine thru a coffee grinder to be very effective. On the walls of the griner, it starts collecting kief-like material and if you top off your bowls with some of this, you can get 8-9 hits per stem, just ridiculous.

A word of caution, if you grind your herb thru a coffee grinder, you're gonna be left with something that looks waaaay smaller than you started but at least the weight is the same :o

im thinking of doing it spiral's way, that is, loding a chunk of bud, hitting it a couple times, then take it out, crush, and reload

a coffee grinder will be too loud for me im afraid, i might go to the head shop fri and check out what they have in the line of grinders, im debating between just a 2 piece and a screen grinder, i dont think i really use enough to get much kief
that is, if i decide to get a grinder at all

AofZ, if you're going to own a few different vapes, it would def by a good idea to buy a grinder. The manual grinders with the screen would be a better alternative to the coffee grinder, I wasn't thinking about that cause I don't own one but it makes a lot of sense. You can use the larger chunks for your SSV/Volcano/Herbo and then the smaller pieces work so damn good in the PD. I'm one and done on the PD when I use super shredded plant material, before I used the smaller matter, I was usually puffing 3-4 to get started and one or two every half hour or so...

I possibly load my PD bowls a bit tighter than most and often after 3 hits I'll blow the plug out into the palm of my hand and it pops out in a nice tight ball (most of the time anyway :p ) and crush, suck-straw up the crumbs and get 1-2 more nice hits. I've tried stirring the bowl like in Spirals vid but small bits fall out of the bowl and I only really ever just 'disturb' a few crumbs on top.

If your product is a bit tacky (ie not quite dry enough) you can just rip off a small piece of nug, roll it into a ball, load the stem, take 3 hits, blow the plug into your hand, crush, reload and blow another couple of great clouds. The PD is very versatile and using these sort of methods your product doesn't necessarily have to be bone dry and or ground to a pulp :D

thats what im thinking about with the 2 piece grinder, it doesnt have holes so i could get it as fine as i want
but i can also do the crush and reload with the stuff from a screen grinder, and i would start out with more surface area

i use a manual herb grinder for PD usage and an electric coffee grinder for baking/cooking/eating betty crocker cookies, which is fun occasionally. my only aversion to using the coffee grinder for vaporizing is possible air obstruction but i haven't tried it yet so i can't say for sure....

I use a 2-piece titanium Space Case without a screen and it gives me a nice even consistency that seems to work well with the PD.

Thanks SM. When I was about 12, Ive tried capoeira too, only until the firsts 'bandas' I took, when I quit on my fighting sports interest.
Cool vdeo. Shows that you guys are close to the top .
I own a vapir oxygen mini, that only lasted a month after the end of the three month warranty.

With my former vaporizer, if I grind the herbs to a powder form, the screen get always clogged.
I had to clean it everytime I used it, even during the use of the same load.
How often the screen of the PD clogs, when using finelly grind herb?

The PD screen has small holes so using a powder fine grind or straight trichomes would clog it up quickly. Thankfully it works great with normally chopped/ground herb. Cleaning the bowls/screens is also very easy. It depends how much resin is in your herb, but I'd guess around 40 bowls average before it starts to really clog up.

If you clean the tubes on even a semi-regular basis, the screens will stay quite clean. With the supplied purple cleaning bottle (Pammy's idea), cleaning the tubes is very easy. I think grinding to powder for the PD is a little overkill. It tends to restrict airflow too much unless you put in a loose load, and then you have to watch out for spillage from the bowl. I've got some now that's in the 'bottom of the barrel' state (a fine powdery consistency) and the PD is not my favorite vape for it. Even so, I think you'll find the PD is a huge improvement over the Vapir as far as keeping the screen clean. There's very little condensation with this vape. Also, if you blow out your remains immediately after finishing the bowl, it comes out easily, vs. letting the bowl cool off.

You beat me to it vtac.

I always do this and seldom have any screen clogging. I haven't soaked a stem for over a month and one is starting to get a little restricted but only marginally. I have tried the picking it out method and after a day of use the airflow became quite restricted. A evenly packed bowl will bind together and form a plug that should come out most of the time in a uniform ball. This is another reason I dont bother stiring a PD bowl.

My little PD 'duff' bag gets filled up with all these PD plugs. I turn the bag inside out, shake out the contents, regrind it in my fingers and turn up the heat on my box vape. Primo duff!!!
