Can't believe it - my three year old started digging at the purple LED with a pen and has sort of roughed it up a bit there.
Can I just put a drop of epoxy over the LED hole do you think? Then maybe sand a little with 600/800 grit, then some 0000 steelwool with some buzz butter?

Yikes Bongoman! I'm sure Tom will know a remedy. Gonna have to keep that thing away from the kiddo, especially when it's hot.
I was bored earlier and wanted to try out this new video software I got... works good. Attempt at capturing vapor clouds. TV works quite well.

We use white Elmer's glue over the LED hole, it dries pretty clear.
After it dries hand sand it smooth, ...150, 220, #00, then #0000 is my system.
Don't use an orbital sander, the extreme violent shaking can damage the LED,

Is there any similar product that can satisfactorily substitute the Buzz-Butter?
The sanitary authorities prohibit the entrance of food or medical related products here in Brazil.
I dont know if Buzz-Butter will be considered food or medical related, so I ask Tom to withdraw it from my kit.
So I gotta find a substitute of Buzz-Butter for the PD wood.

Buzz-Butter is bee's wax and organic flax oil. You could make your own, about 50/50. Sewing shops sometimes have small sticks of bees wax for a dollar or two, and any vegatable oil would work. Johnson's paste wax or any carnuba based product would be another alternate.

i got my unit yesterday, all i can say right now is wwoooowwww 
i have too mush to say to even begin to cover in a mini review
i know now that i picked exactly the right vape and im very happy with my choice
the wood is beautiful, the light is extra trippy, and the hits are huge
i was getting lungsplitting hits after only a couple trys
3 bowls really lays me out, this message has taken at least 10 minutes to write

Yeah! Finally! After waiting 3.5 months it must have been even sweeter.

@ UrutuBsb, I'd try it as a separate package, imo the Buzz Butter is part of the experience and well worth a few extra bucks. It smells like heaven on the warm wood.
You could argue it's not really food or medical- just some natural wood/leather wax, but good call not risking it with the main shipment.

Hennesy, I find that my younger cousins and friends don't like vaping as much. I think they would rather just hit a roor and be done with it. It's a damn shame but to each his own

Hahaha, awesome Stonemonkey55, my brother decided to order the PPV over at a friends house ( a friend who doesn't like weed, or stoned people ) so I just opted to stay home tonight. 
Anyways,
I'm all with max here, being a vaporist is all about maturity and class. I still enjoy the occasional toke time to time, but vaporizing is an investment in your health, and a worthy one at that.

Yeah, I get a lot of this from my friends. "You'd rather vaporize than milk a bong?" Yes. I would. I bought these vaporizers to get high off them for a reason, ya know.

I do want a little disclaimer on my 'vapor snob' statement. While I don't mind saying it here (a little tongue-in-cheek though), I do realize that a lot of people like to smoke, and especially when you're young and invincible , the negative aspects of smoke aren't a problem. So I say smoke away if that's your choice. As vapor advocates, we should make the benefits of vapor known, and provide a tasty sample or two, then let 'em turn away from the dark side in their own good time (or not).

The reason I started vaporizing is because for how young I am (only 20 right now) the years of toking started to already catch up with me. Bong hits and joints since I was 16 just started adding up; shortness of breathe, phlegm, sinuses acting up.... I figured if I am going to keep a marijuana lifestyle, I may as well make it a healthy one.

I suspect that 'older' people are probably more numerous amongst the ranks of dedicated vaporisers, with a few notable exceptions. I bet the average age of people here at FC is higher than at, say, the glass forums at tokecity...
When you're 41, your lungs mean a whole lot more to you than when you are 21.
To be honest, 'milking a bong' is not something I want to subject my respiratory system to. I love surfing & bike riding and I need functioning lungs to enjoy these pursuits fully. Gimme my PD any day...

speaking of old randy lost tonite, and I don't have my pd to console me. It was a good night of figts and the energy was electric! Lesnar is half man half silver back gorilla and stylisticall, will be tough to beat. Randy will always be am inspiration to me and the fact that he has done more after the age of 40 in the toughest of sports will never cease to amaze me. I hope u guys can vape a couple of stems for the natural, randy couture

ive wanted a vaporizer ever since before i even started smoking, because i went trough a period of obsessive research on everything weed for about 3 months before i tryed it
i must say, its a great investmentm i love the pd, it fits my lifestyle perfectly, and fucks me up royally

I broke one of my tubes. I guess I didn't fully reattach the little metal thingie over the screen cover, so when I poked it to dump out a bowl, I fuckered it all up. >.< I feel so ashamed, lol, oh well, luckily I ordered extras with my kit.
I'm just not sure what to do with it, all the little pieces fell into the couch and I can't find them. Oh well, take my loss as a warning to you all, be careful!

Welcome to the family, Hennesey and AofZ. Glad you are both enjoying the Purple Life.
Is it age? Or IQ? Or health concerns? Frugality?
Most folks here write well. Complete sentences and punctuation, not the norm. And I notice an artistic leaning in some too.
I think IQ is a big part of being into vaping. Eventually vaping will filter out into the masses (ignorant sheep) but only after you beat them over the head with it.
Spiral, we got three tubes with our first A-Zap. I promptly lost one, and at some point I 'broke' one of the remaining two. Same thing, poked around and knocked a screen out.
Good part is the clips are available at any auto parts store, they fixed me up with a few for about a buck. (.28 clop for a .25 hole) The screen is stainless, most head-shops carry smoking pipe screens and you can cut them to size with scissors.
So if I die or decide to quit making the PD, you can get parts locally and keep it going. Unlike breaking a glass whip piece, this is repairable by almost anybody, at home.

Sweet Tom. I miraculously found the little clips on the floor today. I have several hundred stainless steel screens, so I'll try being Macgyver today.

Cut the screen to size (the most difficult part).
