How much should I use? about a pea-sized amount? I'm afraid of saturating it.

//edit I went ahead and tried out a little bit, about half a pea size.... worked fine... used a handkerchief to 'buffer' it.... The middle is very dark but the outside edges are light purple... i'd assume with time it becomes a more uniform color.

My heart is with Couture but I my mind is picking Lesnar. 265 lbs of red, fast twitch muscle fibers and ridiculous endurance is a tough combination for anyone to beat, esp a 45 year old that's been on the sidelines for 13 months!

If there is one thing that I've learned about our beloved herb is that its effects to it's users can vary quite widely. You got the recreational guys that like to smoke and play video games. You've got artists that use it to assist in creativity. Then you got the high powered, corporate executive (not me, but I know alot of them in the Silicon Valley) that smokes to deal with the pressures of the job.

I like to share my story because as a youngster, I was always told how bad it was and how demotivating it can be and I like to shed some light on our medicines finer qualities. I read somewhere a few years back about certain endurance athletes who would ingest brownies before they worked out because it would increase their resting heart rate without the damages to the lungs. They felt that they could mimic training in higher altitudes by utilizing pot to increase their resting heart rate. They downfall was that eating it was extremely hard to dose and to time and I keep thinking about how these guys could've leveraged a vaporizer (esp the PD) for the same effect without any negative side effects. I'm with Couture. Me and my Bro watch MMA a lot.... I generally just pick the guy (not knowing not much about the fighters, but I know Couture is good) he didn't, for competitions sake... We split on the PPV's.

No. I've never done martial arts. I wish..... their is a karate dojo here (is that the right term?) but I'm not sure if karate is right for me. I'm a really peaceful fellow and have never been in a fight once actually... probably because I exude friendliness.

Anyways, I made a quick video review of the PD... but it won't upload to my PC.... it's not detecting for some reason (first time ever). I'm about to say fuck it because this was my 2nd attempt and frankly, it's starting to irk me and as much as others might enjoy watching it I might give up.

Maybe I'll try uploading it after a restart/later today.

I chose Tea Tree (melaleuca) as it is a native timber in the region where I live in Australia. The Tea Tree Lakes are just up the road.

Thanks for the link on the Tea Tree Lakes, I didn't know about that... What I can't figure out though is which Tea tree is it? The Kuzea ericoides aka K?nuka or White tea-tree? I have a Tea Tree unit as well and I absolutely love it.... I'm very glad I picked this wood.

I imagine that Tea Tree as a common name probably gets applied to more than one species around the world. But I notice on the Purple Days Tea Tree page, that the species is Melaleuca alternifolia, which is in fact the local tree in northern New South Wales in Australia.

I'd be lying a little if I didn't say that I am jealous of the tea tree wood you got. It's beautiful! Watched your video SA, I think it was a very good review and highlighted all the areas of the PD extremely well.

Also, contrary to popular belief, you do not have to be angry, violent, or aggressive to enjoy and practice the martial arts. Being able to defend yourself is just icing on the cake

I know. I'm a peaceful fellow, I guess I don't have the determination to commit myself to something like that.... Some day maybe.

I just tried my PD for the first time, one bowl of some home-grown LR#2 just to push me through from 3pm while I work from home in front of the computer.

It totally suits the way I like to dose and call me a light-weight, but one bowl was plenty right now. I love the notion of just having a few sips now and then.

I just packed my other vaporiser away in a box and stashed it - don't think I'll be using it for a while...the Vapman and the PD are all I need. Finally, the search is over...well, at least until I start drooling over a Herborizer again...

thats exactly how i do it, its nice not having a tolerance, because i can get just to where i want, then an hour and a half or so later ill bump it a little and proceed like that, lightly toasted and ready for anything

That Tas Blackwood for AofZ us a little scuffed from sanding. The whole thing gets hand sanded after the leather goes on.

Not usually. I had just taken an extremely large hit. The heat from the vapour isn't bad at all. It's palatable and warm. It gives almost an oily sensation in the mouth.
