They are to me, but they’re doing it for their intended use of the IH.Do you think your list are design shortcomings
The new design is intended to hang off the bowl/adapter on the bubbler and I think they tightened up the tolerances for a snugger fit so there wouldn’t be any problems, the Wand was handheld or on the stand.were done purposely as to stablish 2 different products?
Yes, though their Dynavap adapter was a second thought, it worked good with standard Dynavaps til the Tempest adapter arrived.after all The Wand was not initially intended for Dynavaps..
That's not really a temperature adjustment. It's just a timer that's calibrated to the banger cups which come with the Wand--if you're using those, it's designed to heat long enough to reach the set temp. With the Dyna, just use the clicks. With other devices, like the Tempest, people figure out how the timer corresponded to their particular use. It doesn't change the power output.Hey all, haven't posted for a while, however...just received the Wand IH to use with my recently purchased Dynavap M7 xl, and it's beast! The unit is large - 6.5 in x 2in, solid, well built, and feels like a weapon in my hand. The batteries are replaceable and it should last forever (if I don't drop it too may times). I have experimented with several sessions, and there are so many different variations on how to use with the DV and that's going to be the fun part. The Wand I received came with a black silicon adapter (no glass, just silicone) and it works great with the DV. You can adjust the height in the chamber for different experiences with the capped tip, you can adjust the temperature anywhere from 250 - 800 degrees (and yes, I think temperature makes a difference and will report back later), and you can use it with/without the silicone adapter. So far I've only used in on auto mode, and had good success with the adapter almost flush with the bottom of the chamber - the DV cap is completely in the chamber, and haven't set the temp above 300. The heat up is slower than a torch, and at 300 degrees it took about 15 seconds for the click. The heat up time will vary with the depth of the adapter in the chamber, as well as the temperature, especially if you don't use auto mode or the adapter. I look forward to experimenting with the Wand!
Unless they've changed something, my wand shows a small animation with a battery indicator and bars that flash or stay solid indicating how charged it is. The only time the display is completely dark is when it turns off after it's fully charged.Just got a new Wand today to give for a Christmas present. Much more solid and nicer than expected. I hooked it up to charge using USB-C cable and a factory Samsung super charger I use for my phone, tablet and watch. Are any displays supposed to be on during charging? I am not seeing any indication that the charging is working?
Thanks for responding! The Ispire does not like the Samsung super charger block? I have a big bag of charger blocks. Pulled out one that fit the Inspire factory charging cable, plugged it in and immediately the display came on showing two bars and that it was charging.Unless they've changed something, my wand shows a small animation with a battery indicator and bars that flash or stay solid indicating how charged it is. Perhaps your batteries are fully charged or you inserted them with the wrong polarity? You could also try a different USB-C cable or charging brick.

Hi Cybrguy, I ordered the Dynavap SK carbon fiber adapter for my wand, and can you tell me how to use/insert into the wand. My problem with the dynavap silicon adapter that came with the wand is that the tip gets stuck in the adapter when pulling it out to take a hit. The only way I can use the included adapter is to insert it so that the bottom of the adapter is flush with the bottom of the wand and then have to hold the DV in the adapter so it doesn't touch the bottom of the adapter (where the cap gets stuck). I would love to be able to just set the DV in the adapter without holding it, but maybe that's not the best way to use the wand. Thanks! This is what V2 looks like.
Some have said the glass option you posted take more power and works more slowly. Most seem to like the the SkullKandy option better.
I had the first version of the Skullcandy adapter and I don't really use it much anymore because I have a Tempest, and I use that in the Wand with the Tempest adapter, which is glass. I pulled the SK adapter out to have a look, and the regular VapCap tip and cap fit fine in this adapter, including just enough extra room to move around slightly without catching the cap. I wonder if they made the tolerance tighter for some reason in the V2 version.Hi Cybrguy, I ordered the Dynavap SK carbon fiber adapter for my wand, and can you tell me how to use/insert into the wand. Yeah, the DV adapter is a bit dangerous with those ridges. I ended up learning to wiggle the DV before pulling it out since the cap would frequently stay in the wand when I went to lift it out. Smooth adapters are definitely better when availableThis is the Dynavap silicon adapter that came with the wand, and you can see the ridge lines which contribute to the cap getting stuck in the adapter, and is why I ordered the SK adapter.
I'm sorry I missed this. If it is like the first SK adapter, you just push it in from the bottom. The bottom of the adapter fits flat against the bottom of the wand.and can you tell me how to use/insert into the wand.
That is what I thought, and can you tell me how the red O-rings are used.I'm sorry I missed this. If it is like the first SK adapter, you just push it in from the bottom. The bottom of the adapter fits flat against the bottom of the wand.
Incredible. Didn't dynavap test their product before manufacturing and selling it? The whole point of an adapter like this is that it's meant to be hands free heating, lol..I ordered the Dynavap SK carbon fiber adapter for my wand, and can you tell me how to use/insert into the wand. this seems like good solutionOn someone’s advise from here, I kind of flipped the silicone sleeve inside out and would trim a little off a rib, test it, and repeat. It never sticks now.
I don't use the fiddly bits because I like to use the wand like an electric lighter to chase terps and feather subsequent heatups. other IH's do stationary better. + just used it for a dab this morning, can't w/adapter.I never felt the need for an adapter after using a glass one for a while, just not needed and more of a pain and added expense for little gain in my experience.
