Do you have any tips on what accessories I should buy to experience Dynavap better?
Hey man, great purchase. I am using Dynavap product for years now and the one accessory I suggest to you is an FMJ.

By using the FMJ, a one-hit-extraction is easily possible. The one made of steel can be used in an induction heater or with flames. If that is your style of vaping, considering buying one. The M7XL is my favorite piece from Dynavap. Enjoy

After recently lecturing on the benefits of heating the Dynavap tip slowly, I decided to try something new today: I set the Yllvape 2.0 induction heater to 30W und went with the M+. It took an amazing 50 seconds to the second click, but I got a full, rich cloud on the first draw. Subsequent heatups still took 30 seconds.

Somewhat surprised. The theory was clear, I just never tried an extremely low setting.

I think you're right about a "future classic", so I'm gonna pick up another one to play with mix and match color variations, and maybe one for my own vault. Been on the hunt for more colored caps/tips, so glad to have these drop. Not a fan of the m7 tip but eye candy matters.

Here is the prototype convection cap to turn your DynaVap into a ball vape :brow:

(please excuse me for the residue in my bubbler, despite all my efforts I can't get it to clean properly, I'll do better next time..)

(AVB from previous video)

Upon @Radwin Bodnic interpretation based on a @phattpiggie concept, I've been working on a convection cap that fits on most DynaVap tips (work in progress).

(comparison with TA2, Armored Cap, VSC and traditional DV cap)

It is optimized for induction heating with The Wand (and its official DYADP adapter) and torch heating. With the DynaVerse you have a very high number of possibilities to find what suits you best!

If you're interested, stay tuned.. more information will be available soon 😉 :peace:

Hey,

I am in the process of ordering accessories for Dynvap and have selected the following things:

1. FMJ
2. Dynavap Armored Cap
3. Ispire The Wand
4. Dynavap Helix Titan

If I buy Dynavap Helix Titan, I won't need FMJ for it?

Is this Armored Cap highly recommended?

Then the question about the Ispire The Wand... I get along well with my Dynvap lighter, will it be better with Ispire?

1. FMJ
2. Dynavap Armored Cap
Those 2 are basically the same thing, FMJ you add on an existing cap, and armored cap is just extra metal added to a Dynavap cap. Both add extra metal for extra heat retention, and aiming for one hit extraction.

You don’t necessarily need a FMJ for the helix tip. You’ll be fine if you allready have a cap. Or Armored cap will do the same.

Induction heater brings repeatability. But always the same. Just like manual vs automatic gear boxes on a car. But IH makes definitely less noise !

I reckon the wand is a great accessory to pair with ye vapcap, especially in windy conditions where torches can be rather challenging.

FMJ didn't do too much for me, it increases the cool down time and it's possible to get one heat up extraction without one.

Never got an armored cap as the size and price didn't tickle me funny bone.

Some kind of de-capper is essential if you are going the FMJ or armored cap route.

Also, in case no one has mentioned it yet, make sure you get a BB9! :spliff:

For me IH is a different experience since I start to draw from cold to click continuously in the wand. Highly recommended
I do that w/wand but usually wait to draw 5-10 sec. then draw a few seconds to the click or past depending on vapor feel.
With the UFO 3-4 seconds, pull before the click for 3-4 second to heat saturate, then 3-4 seconds drawing to the click, never past the click on the UFO or combustion happens
RosiuM7 should be here today :clap:can't wait to show off the color

This!

Kills portability, however allows u to use vap cap in windy conditions outdoors, or during the cold weather with ease.

Also using torch - ur butan consumption will be insane

Or a quad torch for outside.

And butane use is really not that much. I put al my lighters on the lowest that still works and is stable.

Beautiful setup! Ed is the best.

I am really starting to like the looks of some bocote devices. Does it have a strong or long lasting “wood” signature at all?

Thank you.
I haven't noticed any taste with this stem. Iirc, @Texus has a bocote Couch Log, that might be the better test.

Man, that's gorgeous! Really like the gold and greenish ones on the listing. I'm in, of course. Should be here by Friday!

I’ve been a long time dynavap user but haven’t really dabbled in the new stuff. Wouldn’t mind picking one up as a beater vape.

Is any of it good? I see the new meta appears to be finless tips with higher mass. This appeals to me, I always ran my 19m tip to the limit and wouldn’t have minded some extra mass to smooth out the temp curve.

I’m particularly interested in the M7, I never got along with the 5fin and it seems the helix is similar but with even more airflow? I don’t really like too much airflow on low mass conduction devices as it’s always quite counterproductive IME.

I remember a lot of criticism of DV around the time I left the scene was the lack of tangible performance upgrades in favour of funky colours and sidegrades, I wonder if that’s still the case

I think you'll like the M7 tip for longer hotter heat-ups. (the ss stem will get hot) I'm more of an airy sipper and love the helix so much I drilled my 1st M7tip to get more air flow. Even removed the condenser in lieu of just the cooling spiral.
most dynaverse expansion is sideways, but at this point it's more like collecting functional art.

Is the perforated cap a big difference in airflow? Or more a gimmick?

The non xl version seems odd without mouthpiece, or is it okay in real life? Dont want the xl since they would not fit my dynastashes

M7's great, it's forgiving and delivers extended hits. I really like it, it may be the best M.

It's perfect with the Helix but less effective with other tips, imo. It's a very different DV experience, that combo.

Without the MP, it's still a great DV. The stem is fine, the grip is better than you'd guess and the 10mm mp is great. The Xl condenser's a great piece of gear, though, fwiw.

The color M7s are pretty sweet. The ObsidiuM is much nicer than the images on the site suggest but the RosiuM is right over the top! Not only is it very colorful--mine ranges from the standard pinks through blues and golds--but the color changes as you spin it. Looking down the stem as you spin shows highlights around the colors of the stem, plus a golden sheen. It's a stunner!

This is just a nectar collector, three orings (could add a fourth) and a folded up steel pipe screen. Can't get much simpler than that. So how does it look? Does it work as a tip?

Obviously some design issues. Its not a good torchable tip and transfers heat to stem quickly. It won't fit in every dynavap either. However it works surprisingly very well in induction heater. Ive never had a b tip so can't say if herb capacity is similar or lower than b but its pretty darn small chamber. The cap is pretty loose but will just barely catch on, maybe a good squeeze with pliers would make a better fit.

Works just as good as a mouthpiece too the small condenser inside the stem helps catch stuff real well.

I can never decide if the Vong's my absolute favorite Dynavap but I sure do love them. They're kind of more of a platform than the others, with the adjustable->closable intake and multi-fit MP, and also its excellent performance wet or dry. That makes them more fun to try out different tips for different effects. From L, the Vong tip, Helix, Std Ti, M21, M19, Omni, and Ti M+:
IMG-0578.jpg

My most used are the two Cocobolo Vongs with the M21 and Ti M+ tips. The M21 is very forgiving and adaptable and the Ti M+ is what the standard Vong tip should have been, flavorful, powerful, and less prone to scorching. Of course, this diversity of experience does not require a Vong stem for each tip, one Vong's probably enough. I guess. ; )
