I could actually do with one of these, I recently sold my no longer used caldron, although I did only use the magnet that all though for cooling, using a dynastash for the moment to cool down my caps.

[On Dynabox in Poland] They make really nice-looking...well, everything.
Just wanted to add that their induction heater absolutely sucks, although most do. Bummer that in the EU the options are limited to Chinese crap, a maker that can’t be trusted due to mental health issues or the Dynabox, which performs worse than it looks inside.

The Dyna IH market is definitely still incredibly immature.

Bummer about their IH. I think the Wand's been a blessing and a curse. It comes just after the best alternative (Fluxer) peaks and then pauses, deploying a similar technology which, to be fair, works really well. Nobody else has attempted it as far as I know, and to compensate they've come up with a number of clever, simple user adjustments (tube height, discs) that evidently work pretty decently. I'm not sure how they could deploy similarly sophisticated implementations of technologies as those developed under the support of a larger company. With something like the wand dominating technologically and competing price-wise, the handmade alternatives can mostly only compete on price or cache. I guess even DV can't support the R&D to compete against it or innovate beyond it, but who else would there be?

Yeah, this is a big issue I had acquiring a quality IH in the UK. There’s just not many real high quality options

Had a vapoven which was okay but pretty much a “wireless desktop IH” due to its size. No good for me.

Had a VHB carbon mini imported, absolutely loved that one but gave it away to a friend

Most recently had the Wand which is great, behaves like an electric single flame which is awesome

Once the sense comes out I think it’ll be game over for the IH market, provided it works as advertised. I just can’t see where you’d go from the sense, suppose you could maybe take that tech and make it smaller over time or increase battery life.

I was going to say ... I don't have a lot of experience w varying IH's but my VHB Carbon Mini works really really well.

Especially if you remove the stock plug and make a custom one with cork.

Only ever used 2 IH’s, pipes caldron and PSM, hated both, so sold them (no desire to ever use another IH), very tame and produced wispy vapour compared to a torch, PSM was the tamest, not satisfying at all, single flame for me, satisfaction every time:rofl:

Pipes should just find a European already hehe

You would love the wand IH then, basically an electric single flame

My favourite IH for fast and heavy extraction on any tip

Personally I went for the Cuboo because its the "best" cheap IH that's available and I don't even know if I'm going to like an IH since it's my first one.
Hesitated to get the wand for a second but it's quite expensive for what it is and for that price I expect something that's nearly perfect.

After lots of trial and error I have 3 different induction heaters really dialed in for both my SS and Ti tips. The Orion v2 was the most expensive, priced at $199 (but I got an Omni for an additional $20 afterwards). I got the UFO in a bundle with my first M, so it cost me about $90. The Black Shadow cost me $99.

I have used a torch once, when I first got my 2021 M. For the last 5+ months I've used nothing but induction heaters, and the VapCap is probably my most reached-for vape. I get perfectly repeatable results every time.

I have actually found that the "Chinese crap" heaters are very useful!

No interest sadly in spending £145 when a torch costs me £5.99, and I’d need to charge the wand as well.

Can you leave the VC in until the click with any of those setups?

As in, could I pass it to a friend and have them get repeatable hits instantly with no technique?

That’s what I search for with IH, true foolproof operation.

So far in the UK I’ve only found the wand and vapoven with pulse/pwm/whateveritscalled to do this

@Demonic chronic yeah man the cost is a shame as it really is great. If it was closer to £100 I think it would be a much easier sell for most

I honestly still wouldn’t buy if it was £100:rofl:, that’s about 17 large tanked torches right there.

I just trimmed the rubber plug on the carbon mini to meet my needs. I have several plugs of varying lengths to suit. Just a millimeter or two goes a long way.

Huh crazy, I have the opposite experience with my PSM, for me it's powerful as can be, I could combust with it if I wanted, and I can get the vapor at pretty much any level I feel like, light or heavy and dark ABV with a little manual action playing around the click.

I'm using mostly older caps tho, the ones that came with my OG woody's and omni's and vongs, not sure exactly which year models but been quite awhile since I bought new ones.

I love my PSM it's not the same using a vapcap without it, not really a fan of my Ranger IH tho so I can see how performance could differ with different heaters. :science:

I too was using old undated OG caps (not a huge fan of their new caps, they have done something with them🤔), mainly used one that clicks then clicks 7 seconds later, do that to the second click in the caldron or PSM and shite wispy Vapour every time, do the exact same with torch to the second click and it’s fat hits even from cold, very visual difference can be seen using a bong. Torch blasts a dyna bowl in 2 bong hits (perfect for me) dark brown avb, IH’s took me more than 6 bong hits to get avb that wasn’t even that brown (took the piss for my needs). Torch all the way for me🔥✊.
here’s the first bong hit with a single flame torch on a cold tip and the 7 second late clicker cap, using the vong (I), nice and fat.

I found the way to get a good hit from the PS/PSM is to go a bit beyond the click. I would go as far as 6 seconds beyond the click with the steel tips. With titanium tips, it took 2-3 seconds instead.

Ah you see I never go past the click (never needed to with that cap and a torch) so that’s how our result will be so different. Still tho, shouldn’t need to go past the click with an IH.

Ahhh I think that's probably the difference.

Going past the click is totally fine for me with an IH and that's where it comes to manual technique.
Same thing happens with torches in that depending on how you use the torch it will heat the cap and the load up differently.

For example if you used a torch only near the tip of any cap the click will typically occur faster before the body of the load has been heated thru and produce lighter vapor and by extension lighter ABV which is sometimes preferred.

If you use a torch and rotate mainly around the body of the cap and stay further from the tip, the main body of the load will be hotter all the way thru before the click occurs and therefore produce thicker vapor with more roasted bud.

Analogously if I use an IH and just go to the first click and immediately remove I will get lighter vapor and ABV which is sometimes preferred.

If I use an IH and go a few seconds beyond the click I can get more of a thorough heating throughout the load and get heavier vapor and browner ABV.

When I want to get 1 heavy hit from my IH I may even use the IH for a few seconds and stop before the click occurs as a little pre-heat of the entire load, then go back in the IH again and let it go a few seconds past the click for a fully thoroughly heated entire cap load to get those big 1-hit rips.

I love to try different techniques to get different effects and experiences :science:

I heat my cap as low as I can for maximum vapour production, I do understand how heating the tip produces wispy hits because the disc/clickers in the tip heat quicker cause they are in the tip, but like I say I heat as low as possible for a slow heat up, if I wanted lighter hits I’d use a low temp cap, I honestly don’t see the appeal in IH’s, with the exception of people with a disability which mean they have to use one to heat their favourite vapes.

I agree, I don't understand the hype with IH i have tried 3 and sold them all, they can't produce the nice roasty hits a torch delivers.
