Since you have had a few mag heaters, perhaps you can apprise us of differences between
Heaters, @beyond6strings, specifically the time differences in the heat cycles; seems some are hot rods, and some are pedestrian type.

BTW, of the 97 known cases of CoVid-19 in the Bay State, some 70 attended the Biogen conference
In Cambridge last month.

Good day to sit down for a few tokes on a vortex,
and listen to some calming music.  :leaf::spliff:

I've had three IH's, a Portside Mini that was gifted to me and shit the bed after a few months, a Caldron, and now the VHB. I've not timed the Caldron or the VHB heat up, but given I'll have no gigs til June at the earliest, I may run the experiment. However, without a stopwatch I can tell you the Caldron runs hotter than the VHB. Heating cycles feel about 2-3 seconds longer on the VHB.

But I'm not sure that's a negative at all. I'm becoming convinced that the longer the heat up time the thicker the hit.

The biggest difference is in how they operate. With the Caldron you simply stick the cap into the heater and press down to engage the heater. With the VHB you have to turn the device on, put the vapcap in the heater, and then press a button to engage the heater.

I've got my Caldron at my desktop station with my Ditanium and MegaGlobe. I use that area when I'm working on the computer or playing music. I've got my VHB sitting on the arm of my lounge chair in the TV area where I don't have easy access to a plug. I can't imagine life without either. Although if the Caldron dies, I'd replace that with a portable. Ultimately I like being chord free.

Yes, Biogen is going to be a fine study of how the disease spreads. I'm happy I work from home, and happier still that while I was dealing with tendinitis I was able to change my business model to not require performance income to make ends meet. I have a slew of performing guitarists and singer/songwriters who will lose months of irreplaceable income, and have no safety net. We're going to see in 3D technicolor why the GOP's policies of stripping social programs comes at a huge human cost. Buckle up.

I know there's a bunch of bummer news. But... There was also that sweet DV live. The 2020 M looks great. Got mine ordered.

Gonna make sure none of my other Caps got jealous hearing all that "new guy" talk about the fancy-schmancy captive cap. Just in case, I'm planning on showing them a LOT of attention this weekend.

I'm in Colorado. This close to whatever time it is on a Thursday is "weekend" til some time Tuesday morning.

Great stream today. I’m glad the Captive cap was received so well. I know a few folks in here were concerned it might grip too much but it really is the best of both worlds. It stays on and you can spin it. It’s fun : ) Adjust a bowl is a bonus and the chiral airport is definitely something different. Big changes with this M.

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
Love to hear more from the new Vortex owners. What makes you like it? Things you don't like?

I will wait the few months until they release the 2020 tip separately. I do like the look of the new M, but would rather save up for a different stem. The feature that they really didn't talk about on the stream was the extra grooves cut into the distal end of the tip. Looks like that feature would reduce draw restriction a lot. Might have missed it in the feed, but I can only watch so much Retail Josh.

i was fortunate enough to get a pre-release 2020 "M" and I have to say that this is a major performance upgrade to the "M" series. Greater airflow, a cap that wont fall off and a much improved fit to a 10mm water pipe are the main attractions for me but the adjustable bowl and dual airports are sure to make many in the Dynaverse very happy. One thing I didnt even realize they had done but is appreciated is the stop built in for the MP X ring. While the styling may not appeal to all, I LOVE it!!

I want to preorder the new M, but Dynavap's site is acting weird when I try to login.

My old login doesn't work, which is ok because I know that something happened a while back and many of the customer accounts were lost...so, it prompts me to create a new account. However, after filling in my info, and hitting the "Register" button, it just goes back to the homepage.

I try to login with the account I just created, and when I hit the login button, it just goes back to the account registration page. I just tried it several times, and it's the same every time.

Then I thought, maybe I was sent a confirmation email that I need to confirm before the account is active and I can login. But there is no confirmation email in my inbox either.

Anyone else have this problem? I don't want to miss the preorder.

Adjust a bowl?

All I got was a kick in the nutz.
DHL international shipping, umm yeah fuck that.
Same for FedEx and UPS etc.

Who knew my last DV order was my last DV order. :disgust:

Yes. I got a fright at the checkout too. $34 USD for international postage. Add on tax at the border and I am looking at $109 USD, plus the risk of seizure. Gonna have to wait till my local has stock.

I feel your pain, it was going to cost me $60 for the DV and over $30us for shipping to Australia!

I know Austyn Simrell can post his stems for around $9us!

Absolutely disgraceful from Dynavap so I'll be passing on this one!

Hmmm...I just completed my pre-order, and I know that they stopped sending the new vaporizers in the plastic tube, and are now sending them in the cardboard thing.

So, I wonder what this "complimentary tube" is?
Some kind of free gift they are surprising us with?

It's and empty tube like vapcaps shipped in BC (before cardboard).

One quick question..pre ordering the M and wanted to know if spare o rings are for real needed and if the captive cap will fit Any tip :)
thx in adv

The viton o-rings are sturdy and tough also cheap to have spares, are ya feeling lucky? The x-rings should last a very long time.
The new cap will fit all previous tpis.

Yeap 47 usd postage to regional Australia

 Perhaps they include a free lubetoob?
