Wow, I just checked out the new website, it's amazing, better than I could have imagined! It's both more beautiful and more functional, like the new Ti tips.

Cheers to @VapCap, you've come a long way in a short time, and it's inspirational to say the least!

I love the new Uni name, it goes so well with Omni and highlights the modular nature of the vaporizer.

And boy do I love that "exploding" OmniVap that animates as you scroll down the homepage. :luv:

I could watch that all day!

Does anyone know if the Vapcaps bought in the BF sale will have the new tips on?

Cheers.

I hope so.....George says in the post below that the new TI tips will be standard on all TI models.

Busy busy has been this past week/month.

Many exciting things going on at the VapLab. Our new CNC lathe is busy turning out awesomely intricate titanium parts. In fact, we are machining all of our own titanium now and the new tips will be standard on all Ti models.

These have longer and deeper grooves to produce a more effective convective extraction.
They will also now come with the CCD standard.
I look forward to everyone's thoughts.

We are also putting the finishing touches on the CNC mill. It isn't a big machine but it required some extensive assembly. Yes it is in those three crates with lots of parts.

Thank Scott for his ambition and aptitude. He has managed to put it all together, and let's just say the instructions weren't the best we have seen. But success none the less.

IMG_20161114_145611185_zpsxa7k2yrn.jpg

Then as we are getting these machines online, I departed on an adventure I has been looking forward to for quite some time.

IMG_20161122_122341595_zps3git9wzk.jpg

If it weren't for Eric, it probably would have been even longer. He convinced me to go with him and wow! What an incredible experience. We had the opportunity to present Dynavap products to new people who had no idea of who we were or what we made. The reception was positively inspiring.
It seemed like everyone we showed it to was friendly and had great feedback.

So after a few days of show and listen, it was time for a trip up into the mountains.

IMG_20161120_152659027_zpsgijsabkq.jpg

And then why not go way up into the mountains?
Can you see it?
IMG_20161120_142236933_zpsqffryejl.jpg

And the view to the west.

IMG_20161120_141701261_HDR_zpsevzmabut.jpg

And of course, looking forward!

IMG_20161120_141802130_HDR_zpszinrpzog.jpg

When we came down, we stopped in a nice brewpub with awesome beer!

They had some barrel aged beers that were downright yummy.

IMG_20161121_132012919_zpseknfhmt4.jpg

It sure is wonderful to be comfortable showing people our products without the worry of negative judgement.

So as we wrap up our trip we are preparing for this holiday season and thinking through all we need to do.

Like announce our Black Friday promotion. As we were thinking and discussing what to do we came to a few conclusions. We wanted this to be simple, awesome, and available to everyone.
So here it is. Beginning at 12:01 CST Friday and going through midnight Monday we will offer everyone 20% off everything (except custom items)

AND

Free shipping to all terrestrial locations.

This is our way of saying thank you to our international customers from 45 countries around the world and counting.

Everyone here at Dynavap is so thankful for your support, and we very much look forward to manufacturing and assembling our vaps for you!

Cheers!

George

I'm currently out of the UK travelling though Thailand with my wife and baby.. bizarrely for a country that has a reputation historically for lovely weed there is not much around...my brother-in -law who is thai says it's a old persons drug here.. I'm not happy risking problems with the police out here so I'm not really looking. With all that said...I've ordered a vapcap and a D020 bubbler to go with some lovely green that I have so my return to cold rainy blighty isn't to depressing... Just how well does a Vapcap work with a bubbler...?

They work pretty good through water buddy. This is the omnivap (with Blackwood short body), using the silicone mouthpiece as an adaptor, and going through my three bubblers (sorry it's not embedded, but I don't want it easily linked to my YouTube or fb:

https://vid.me/3M2t

I didn't bother adjusting the airflow, but left it at a happy medium for all three pieces, but if I wanted to I could adjust the airflow by turning the mouthpiece and really get dense clouds on any of them- they all require a slight different airflow to get maximum milkage.

Also, normally when I use water, I would still hit the first heat cycle dry, just to maximise flavour, and because the first heat cycle is always more whispier, and then from the second heat cycle onwards I would go through water. Sorry about the waiting in the middle of the vid for the cap to cool down... But, YOU MUST RESPECT THE CLICK .

That has wrecked me.

Peace

Here's a post I made a few months ago, and here's the video of the Omnivap going through my 3 bubblers:

Edit:

Here's a vid of the Omnivap going through a dry FC-UFO, milkshake style:

https://vid.me/VciX

Be careful in Thailand with the herb. In my experience, whilst in Asia I've only ever come across low grade shwag, Kerala Ganja which has a hashy taste, or charras. Although I did smell some absolutely humming cheese one year in Sri Lanka, but it turned out a guy from Leeds smuggled a load in... fuck that!

Thanks for taking the time to reply , ill take a look at the vids now ..

Without wanting to derail the thread ....Regarding Thailand i appreciate the advice...my good lady was born here and i speak thai. I am familiar with the county as ive been visting for 20 years. Trust me ...i wont be touching it unless its come from a family member ....everything ive ever seen here has been pretty twiggy apart from a huge bag i once bought as a naive teenager right across the road from a police station ..ended up flushing it down the toilet after one spliff . Paranoid? Hmmm not sure that word does it justice lol !! Manali in the indian himilays has superb hash BTW! I miss those young & free teenage backpacking days!!

I don't recall reading any omni v. uni-s comparisons. Is the omni mouthpiece adjustment flexibility a marked improvement over the spinning wood? Worth the extra $$$ (especially that the omni now is available in all wood and carbon varieties)? Are there pros and cons to each?

Ok, I don't know expect to hear any cons...

It looks like the Dynavap website is continuing to bring everything into place. I received an email from them with a link to update my password. I can access elements of my account now but the purchase tab is still empty, likely to be added shortly.

I love the easy browsing design of the site. Comparisons are more easily made. I'm looking forward to an expanded artists corner so I hope that it Is still one of the pages to add.

omni v. uni-s comparisons. Is the omni mouthpiece adjustment flexibility a marked improvement over the spinning wood?

I have both and while I love them both, I wouldn't necessarily label the Omni "better" in performance over a Uni model. But I certainly would say that they are different.

The Uni offers the spinning wood mp, which is neat. Depending on your twirling technique the spinning mp can help facilitate a smoother VC repatriation. You need to sort of cup the mp in your palm and hold it down with your pinky while you twirl the body between your thumb, index and middle finger. If you do this, you can grasp the body/stem more firmly and you don't need to be as nimble as you do for the free hand finger tip twirl.

The wood mp is warmer on the lips, but it should be conditioned with some wood butter. Both @phattpiggie and @Ed's TnT make awesome conditioners. This goes for the wood bodies and stems as well.

The Uni can require a more involved carb action, again depending on your toking technique. I like to open and feather the carb at the end of a mouthful. This may change with the new tips....so....

The Uni is a beauty.

The Omni is a tank, a doomsday essential, a stunning example of precision engineering.

The Omni condenser and mp can be perfectly set for your preferences from a wide open air intake to tight restriction. The Ti mp won't age like a wood one will and it won't spin for you.

especially that the omni now is available in all wood and carbon varieties)? Are there pros and cons to each?

The difference between the an Omni with a titanium body vs one with a wood body is that the titanium Omni is an indestructible beast! Remember that the body or stem of a Vapcap is just the cover, the clothes. It lets in air through its carb hole but it is not the airpath. Therefore, I would think their performance would be the same.

To me pros and cons to the body choice on an Omni comes down to aesthetic choice and intention; whether or not you are outfitting a prepper bag. For the prepper bag, get the all titanium Omni for sure.

Both models are awesome and a marvel to enjoy, hold and behold.

New website and branding look great!

Been using my omni a lot more lately. The ritual is just really soothing, and the vapor is great too!

EDIT: Yikes. Wanted to buy some CCD's but shipping is $7!!

Yeah, the one-size-fits-all shipping costs are a bit annoying but its the only thing I can criticize Dyna on.

The new website is fabulous and awesome. I really like that they included all bits and pieces under parts so you can now order pretty much anything you want.

But what happened to the "artist" corner or whatever it was called? The site page with 3rd party and other specialty parts were sold (or am I confused on this?).

Thanks for the sale George.i'm looking forward to the newer convection tips and the engraved caps also, although right now, i cant fault the tip you sent out to me over 2 months ago.

Tip: The back end of a slurpie straw works great for positioning the condenser and orings in the body..we have 7 eleven stores everywhere here that sell slurpie.cut the straw down. You will need to widen the tool compartment hole by 1mm for it to fit.ive drilled mine just 1mm wider and also deeper to accept the tool you see sitting on the stash magnet.the tool slides inside the straw inside the stash.
im now looking to see if i can add a compartment on the bottom of the stash for abv :) and then i wont need the orange jyarz while out and about.im trying to work out how i can open and close that added comparment without adding another slide door like whats on the top.

the torch is a triple flame dolphin and is a favourite out of maybe 10 torches i own..its heavy steel, has a smallish gas chamber (one day for me) and works well and is easily adjustable on the go.i find the quads can be overkill.

i clean my vapcap in a dishwasher if i want it really clean for airports or travel.i just take my vc apart and put all the bits inc rings into a tea strainer basket from one of our teapots, then pop it in a regular wash into the cutlery basket in the dw and it comes out pristine and like new after an hour or so.

Off topic,i wash my ball caps in the dw as well.i bought some ball cap buddies..

hats come out of the dw like new haha

hopefully You can add some flat brim ball caps to the site @VapCap and im in

Chou everyone:tup:
First time ive seen those jyarz being a Brit...someone needs to start importing them into europe because they look awesome. Im not paying more for postage than i pay for the item though, so until someone sells them on this side of the pond i cant get some !!

**correction ..Vapefiend.co.uk has them !!

Actually they've been over here for a while- vapefiend stocks them, free delivery. They're the only place I've seen them to be fair tho. Use coupon code Hi5 for a discount, altho I think there's a min order of £15.

@phattpiggie il get that vid up there now- you mentioned it before and o totally forgot.

@Mr. Me2
The Uni has a 2mm carb which you can either manually cover, feather or mod with a rolling paper. The MP spins and the condenser is fixed.

The Omni is a set and forget adjustment and everyone will have their own sweet spot. Once it's set you no longer need to cover or feather.

Adjusting the Omni's MP winds the taper on the condenser in and out of the taper in the Ti tip.
In a really simplified explanation, imagine when you screw it all the way in you are shutting off the carb, back it out and the carb opens again.

The carb is not a carb as we know it from other devices, it is there to create the pressure drop behind the screen which when set on the Omni to the users preference makes for big vapor with less effort.

My personal stems all have a 0.5mm carb, this allows me to benefit from the low pressure behind the screen created by the carb and gives me thick vapor.

@Squiby beat me to it lol

@Baron23 The artist corner will be returning.

I have been watching this thread for awhile and have not ordered because of all the choices. I love every single one and would end up spending $500+ but am cutting down on my vape purchases. I want to buy one strictly for concentrate use and another for for flowers:

My thoughts:
Omnivap for concentrates. Reason: can soak everything in ISO. After reading @herbivore21 posts on cutting SS pads, that really interested me. I asked George about a concentrate screen and they are currently working on one (always listening to customers). The only problem is that I don't like the feel of cold metal on lips.

My question: will that rubber mp over the metal mouthpiece work (the one from the OG vapcap)? Second, will a wood mp change the carb action of the Omni? TIA

I am also located in Europe and found that: verdampftnochmal.de are also having the Jyarz in Stock. I ordered more than once from them and never had any problems whatsoever. Very recommandable store (and no I am not affiliated to them :)).

For testing purposes I bought every size (Classic, Satchmo and Chico) and I like them all. Wish they had a glass topping as well, which I think would not too hard to bring to reality.

You are looking at a 14mm vong with a piggy twist in it, made from teak. and here's how it works:
NYKgXcT.jpeg

EK3NQ33.jpeg

this piece is probably the most stunning piece I own. when it tumbled out the envelope I was stunned, it is beautiful. The twist is really nicely pronounced. It has a condenser and an absolutely tiny 0.5 mm carb hole which you wouldnt notice if you didn't know it was there, and the restriction is about the same as my omni fully closed. it milks my orbiter like a mofo. Heres a video of it running through the fc-UFO:

https://vid.me/rj7q

the restriction is actually a bit too much for the fc-ufo, but is perfect for the orbiter. Phatpiggie said its easy enough to widen the carb hole, but I prefer it the way it is.

The end where the ti tip goes in is beautifully squared off, as you can almost make out here:

Ooh, that twisty vong looks nice.

My question: will that rubber mp over the metal mouthpiece work (the one from the OG vapcap)? Second, will a wood mp change the carb action of the Omni? TIA

That's what I do. I cut one down so I can still turn it while it's on. Yesterday was cleaning day and the first time I tried to remove the silicone mp since I cut it down. It was a struggle, but I eventually got it off.

This is with the old-style Ti mp. I don't know how it would work with the new shape, but you're only risking $1 by trying it.

ukeBoQU.jpg

As I said it was cleaning day. I used the OG and got 4 nice sessions from the reclaim while everything else was drying. Reclaim - the gift that keeps on giving. So nice, I vaped it twice.

Putting things back together, the omni condensor felt a bit tight going into the glass body.

3jrifB5.jpg

I guess I left it soaking too long and the o-rings swelled, or else i didn't let it dry long enough before putting it back together.

As for the wood mp, I wouldn't be surprised if they're working on it, but I don't think you can get a wood mp for the omni. In any case, the condensor runs inside the mp, so I don't think it would make any difference in performance.

I compared the Omni with the Ti/Uni models in this post. Quick summary: the omni condensor extends a bit furrther into the Ti tip. This makes it a bit harder to draw, but gives thicker vapour without using the carb. I prefer... having both. Really. Sometimes I feel like one, sometimes I feel like the other.
