Definately a game changer @BabyFacedFinster when they hit the scene. They enhanced the vapcap for me and most, and brought back into play potential users turned off by the torch or have difficulties handling the torch and spinning the vc. Everyone with a vc should think about owning one. Some beautiful units on IG.

@TommyDee agreed, nothing better for a long drive and a VC and IH.

...when I was young, and had a sports car, it had to be a stick shift. As I got older, sitting in stop and go traffic, riding the clutch every two seconds to move a few feet,..... well I’ll take AUTO.

When I totaled my Protege ES, torque-y Miata engine with a stick, I promised the Mrs. I'd get an AT next time. She never got the hang of shifting and it's too impractical to have a car that she can't drive when needed. Yeh, traffic jams were a cramp, literally, but I do miss the zoom-zoom zippy-ness and downshifting ability for more control. I guess with turbo engines, and ABS, those two "pros" of a stick are less apparent these days. Shoot, in the old days manual transmission got way better mileage than the automatics, too, but with tighter tolerances and computers now, the difference is minimal. Still, there's something about the "connection" to the car, some tactile intimacy, that I miss. A stick does require more attention to "the moment", whereas an auto can let one become almost too passive and not engaged enough. Maybe those of us with ADD/ADHA are better served by the stick. If I were single, I'd get another stick. Maybe I'll get a secondary "fun" car some day, like my buddy's MG.

I think its funny that, in the old days, a manual stick-shift transmission was called "standard" because it was ... standard. Nowadays, the automatic transmissions are pretty much "standard" ... although they still whack ya' with an "up-charge".

Ummmm... we techies have thumb shifties on the rally's dude. Two hands on the wheels and thumbs on the buttons at all times. MOVE OUT OF MY WAY!

Just got my vapcap! Slick, can’t wait to use it. Question, caps pretty loose, barely stays on, any tips on getting it a hair tighter?

Your first DynaVap? If it's the new 20M model, it should have the little crimps near the bottom of the cap that prevent the cap from falling off. If you can hold the unit upside and shake it gently, and the cap just jiggles around but doesn't fall off, it's proper. It should allow for good airflow. If it's too tight, it might not come off easily with a magnet .. if you're using a magnet. In any case, if you want it tighter you can simply roll it between your thumb and index finger like a booger, at the "digger" end, not the tip end ... applying a bit of pressure as you roll it back and forth so that you pinch it to form its opening from a circle shape to a subtle oval shape. Only make a slight change, nothing dramatic.

edit: Or, to simplify things, like TommyDee said so succinctly while I was typing all the above ... "squeeze" LOL

The stems by @khelek41girl / KG Woodcrafts are fully lined with stainless steel; you can use them with a condenser + spinning mouthpiece or use one of her custom mouthpieces without an extra condenser. Those who fit a water piece can be used without any mouthpiece & condenser.

Just squeeze it to bend it just slightly out of circle. It doesn't take much. That will tighten it up.

The ones I have do have air ports and they work great, but some of her stems do not – either way, you can let her customize it in any way you want.

This is my precious that @khelek41girl made This was a love at first site piece that I happened to come across last year and I had to have it. I remember watching an Instagram live the next day where she talked about making this stem and it reinforced the connection I felt to it. It is very special to me. This particular one does not have an airport but she makes them with as well. Comparing between it, my Omni XL and Simrell Vortex they're all great but this is my favorite. The corner of my lips is the airport or I just hit it carb-less. Because of the long length the vapour is cooled really well and the feel and looks surpass every other one of my stems. She does amazing work and I would not hesitate to buy from her again, actually I have ideas I keep bouncing around in my head for a future purchase. Check out her Instagram and you can see that variety of styles she offers from more basic styles to insane customs.

I'm seriously considering going carbless with an extra long stem for my next nonsense purchase. Her stuff looks worthy. Sounds fun.

Mine is the one I posted but there are many nice stems out there. You're paying for the hand crafted nature of the stem. @khelek41girl spent 10 hours on the wire wrapped Bolivian rose wood I posted above. @phattpiggie released some drop dead gorgeous three head spinning Dynavap stems (that I'm heart broken I could afford atm, I've been eyeing them for months) that you could tell he poured himself into. Both makers also create more simple and affordable stem that are stunning. In function all the high end stems preform the same imo, we're just vaping cannabis at the end of the day, the extra length is the big thing for me but the personal touch, or style or whatever it is about an aftermarket stem that draws you in is what makes it special. The Omni XL is special too, I like variety.

When the quarantine hit, I started a little project and modified my Dynavap M. Cause of the isolation, I only used simple tools that most people have at home. The parts u need to build are cheap compared to the original parts.
