@wm762 give it a chance. Start at low temps at the tip and go from there. It's actually a really low maintenance vape when you take everything into consideration.
Speaking of clogged tips, I have been mixing oil and flower and today my tip got so clogged I couldn't really get a hit at all I find that a couple of 99% ISO soaked q tips in both ends does the trick.
@Moses Baca are you wanting to hold it with just your lips? I would like to make it so that if you hold it in your teeth, it is also kind of flat against your lips.

First day with the Mistvape Beast started at 40w and I think many wont but I love it.
If u leave first cycle to the click it does go over slightly I hear the herb crackling so I pull it out after 22secs for a nice terp flavoured cloud and then back in till the click for fat clouds. Typically 2 or 3 cycles and herb is uniform life coffee granules nice and dark how I like it.
Using this compared to a lighter I do lose some flavour it gives a hint of that conduction style roastyness and does take 20-30 secs to get to the click.
I personally love it somehow I feel i get more high using it and love the ease of use and portability and i get consistently fatter clouds than a lighter, 2 or 3 bowls with big clouds then dump/re-load and I don't know how but it does get me higher than my lighter did.

Nope. IME, heating a loaded VC doesn't make a room smell. Only the vapor you blow out does that. Your open stash will do it too. But the act of heating the Vapcap will not. The smell molecules don't have time to penetrate a room in the 5-8 seconds it takes to heat it. So you can blow all of your hits out of an open window and the room will stay mostly stench free, assuming your stash is contained. And the wind doesn't blow your vapor back into the room
My Alfa on the other hand makes the entire house smell like weed before I've even taken one draw.

Could someone please describe the "7 fin LE" everyone keeps looking for, or picture of one? I keep hearing about it but I just passed it off the talk as "BS and W'. So I did a cleaning of all my VC parts. These parts have been collecting since late 2015. I have several 7 fin tips, but don't know what to look for. Whats "Le" limited edition? Doc

Yes Doc. It's all I use, sorry no pics but the fins are not squared off, they are "sharp" looking instead. DV only offered it for a little while a couple years? ago. Hence the name. Hope this not too clear post was of some help. Cheers! D.
Also, this tip has way way less draw restriction than any of my other ti tips... Like hitting a cigarette, more open in my opinion.

The 4th generation tip sported 7 fins. Both the grooves and the fins were squared off and the bowl introduced deeper wider air channels.
The 5th generation tip moved to a 5 fin design. Again the grooves and the fins were squared off.
The Limited Edition tip is unique in that there are 7 fins that are tapered to a point, the grooves are rounded and a piston effect is seen when it is twirled.
The 6th generation went back to a 5 fin design and kept the rounded grooves.
