I stand corrected, the 4.75 inches was with tip and cap on the Aristocrat. My apologies. Still loving it. It's my 4th or 5th glass stem for the vapcap not my first. I have several Hula stems of different lengths, and a couple
@DDave Water Wands. Pretty much all I use is glass with my vapcaps.
Other than taste and mouthfeel the two reasons I use glass are ease of maintenance and the ease in harvesting reclaim.
I find it interesting that Dynavap isn't doing anything to serve the burgeoning 'condenserless' stem market. I'm probably in the minority but I've found all of the magic of the vapcap in the tip and cap. I do like to look at my Omni. If you are into metal sculpture and I am, then it's something to be appreciated. But when I want to use my vapcap I put one of the aforementioned stems on a tip and cap and have a wonderful time. I found messing with the condenser and o-rings was a pain the butt over the long haul. I learned that over time.
All of my vapes have glass mouthpieces/stems. All of the them. Because that's what works for me.
The vapcap is magical because of the tip and cap. You can go simple or go crazy with stems, so that makes it a lot of fun for a lot of people, but ultimately we all dig it because the cap and tip deliver the goods.
