Your creativity too should exceed
Great expectations, D! No bounds

those metal stems are really nice. I would try my hand at those, but my little Taig lathe wont handle SS. Made for brass, aluminum... Soft steel is its linit. and titanium milling has a fire risk

so woodies and acetal for me

oh, there is a high temp plastic I would love to use...but at 150$ a foot for rod stock
... so anyone up for a 80-90$ plastic stem

Emailing with him now. Anyone want to take a chance on a group order and see what he can do. He also does Ti. if I order from him I'm going to send him an M to work from. he is gong to give me a quote on multiple pieces.

I read that he was a little hard to work with but I'm willing to take a chance.

If you use a condenser and the DynaVap tip has o-rings do you think acetal would get hot enough to off gas?

Sweet @Xclerk i cant wait. Yah I look at his work and I just think, "Just drill out the whole center and an "Airport" and viola!! I think his work is really cool and totally different than anything I have seen. Plus I dont think anyone is making SS stems

@stark1 I'm not making those. I wish! It's a guy on Etsy. @SquanchKava is looking for a long SS stem.

@Ramahs I picked up the Grav Upright and Spherical Pocket Bubblers along with a couple of others during the 4/20 sales:
bubblers1a.jpg

Between the four, I definitely prefer the two Grav bubblers. I find the Martian to be too small and awkward to handle. It works ok, but it feels more like a novelty to me. I don't think I'll be using it in the future.

The Upright works well but can't stand on its own with a Vapcap inserted, unlike the sphere and the beaker. I find the mouthpieces on the Gravs to be more comfortable to use over the beaker, and I also find I get the occasional splash of water with the beaker, but never with the Gravs.

I generally don't put too much water into the bubblers, and I'm finding that I use the spherical one raised up so the VC is pointing up when inserted giving it the feeling of a smoking pipe. When using it like this the tip of the VC is about 3 inches or so away from my face. It's a little close, but not uncomfortably so for me.

The upgright I tend to use tilting downward slightly. Due to this and the wider angle of the mouthpiece and joint, the tip of the VC ends up being about 4-5 inches from my face

After ordering the glass, I came across these new mouthpieces from @primitiveorganic:

mp1b.jpg

They work very well with the above bubblers. The fit is perfect and it forms a nice seal. I feel like I'm getting much bigger and thicker hits than I was using the water pieces with the standard mouthpieces.

Due to the narrower opening at the end, a smaller condenser o-ring is required. Pictured below are the two standard condenser o-rings from Dynavap on the left and in the middle. The Simrell mouthpiece-specific o-rings are on the far right. Three of the small rings are provided with each mouthpiece:
mp1c.jpg

The smaller rings are a pain to get on the condenser, but only one is required at the opening of the mouthpiece. You can use the standard rings in all other places. I also find that the fit is pretty tight and as a result, the mouthpiece doesn't spin very well, if at all.

Gotta be honest, I'm not fond of the logo imprinted on the side. I think I'd prefer either a logo or the words "Simrell Collection" etched on the bottom of the mouthpiece as opposed where it is now. I also find them to be slightly pricey, but I also find it hard to argue the value they provide.

Despite my minor gripes, I'd still recommend the mouthpiece to anyone interested in using their VC's natively with 10mm connections.

Some pics of the mouthpiece inserted:
bubblers2a.jpg

In the above pic, the VC is resting on the Portside Mini, without it, it'd topple over.

Below is the Spherical bubbler with my snazzy new sand blasted @mrb stem:
bubblers2b.jpg

Once the VC is heated, I can use this guy one-handed, which is convenient.

Finally, a pic of the aforementioned snazzy @mrb stem and an Omni with the Simrell mouthpieces along with my new @phattpiggie stem because it also fits a 10mm connection like a champ and frankly, I think it's just nice to look at :):

Thank you @mrb, the Bog Oak will get cleaned up and brought back with me, it's a great little stem.
The car keys will get handed to the Mrs. just in case a Spaniel takes a fancy to me at East Midlands Airport.

I've had good feedback on the first Cocobolo skinny stem and the BO is performing as intended, 'it does what it says on the tin'.
Personally it doesn't sit right with me to be offering something that is bodged to 'sort of work'.

I travel light so it's a rucksack as hand luggage.
The Lipo bag is the ones used to charge the batteries externally.
I figure if I can prove the transport of the battery is safe they shouldn't take it off me.

@seki thank you for the picture. Its a pure fluke that the square sits in a 10mm joint.
As the first few 10mm tapered MP's worked out so well I'll more than likely offer them as standard on all stems.

I find alot of the grav stuff fits by chance. I have some of their small 10mm pieces all fit standard mouthpieces perfect. Also some chilliums and their tiny pinch bowls hold tips like a wpa. But with variences its a shot in the dark with fitting tips. I want to def eventually grab one of those tips. Finally going induction so I'll see where that goes. Just got so used to 12 secs on a trip flame or like 18 on a double. Wanna play around w a variable voltage or amperage regulater to play w timing. Any ideas

2 and half years combustion free, this morning I remembered every morning I used to cough up phlegm and at night sleeping id have heavy breathing and snore.

I was ready to quit getting high as i was feeling the physical effects after years of combusting, I was always paranoid about state of my lungs.

Even vaping at 1st with flowermate, Mighty and Arizer I was never satisfied always felt like I was missing something from the high and didn't enjoy the experience, Dynavap changed my life I finally found my lane and now I'm just cruising.

Its amazing when I look back now, I don't smell, I can actually taste the herb, no negative health effects, I enjoy the high alot more and use half as much material as I used to.

All i can say is thank god for George and his Dynavap
