Today I received this little 10mm banger hanger that I got a rather good deal on from @thenotoriouspak on instagram. All I have is chinaglass right now, and this little shredder is my first piece of handmade, American-made glass (I'm fairly poor, and can't afford much right now). It's a lot prettier in person (that "magnifier/marble on the backside has a piece of tumbled opal in it with a spiral underneath that the camera would just not pick up in this shitty lighting), but I was lazy about proper lighting. I'm very happy with it, and know that I'll be wanting to save for more handmade glass in the future.
I bought it to use for concentrates, but I don't have a 10mm banger yet (need to order one or go by a local shop this week). And I just found that it mates natively with my M quite well, in both form and function. Makes it real easy to pull all the way to and past the cool-down click in one solid lung-pull. I can see me using my M this way while laid back on the couch or recliner a lot more often now
One could maybe say I'm more civilized now?

Thanks. I'm happy with it, and expect to have it for a lifetime.
I do worry though, that using the M natively with it will scratch up or otherwise unnecessarily add wear on the inside of the 10mm gong on the piece. If I start seeing any scratches, I'll stop using my M with it...but I don't really have to press to make a seal, I just need to hold it there, and it's fine with minimal leakage. So, hopefully the glass is hard enough for that and I'll be fine ?

I have VapCap M'18 for 3 weeks, usually microdosing with it and using like one-hitter - heat bottom (sometimes really long, around 40-50 sec) and pull with closed carb until click, my AVB was almost black but no combustion. Last few days I combusted 2 times when was heating as usual, and now I heat more towards center of the cap (20-30 sec), that gives me same AVB as earlier when I heated bottom. Can it be because of microdoses 0.01-0.02g (I use medium grind, but sometimes it crumbles into fine grind particles) or cap fits more snugly (squeezed it a bit, now it clicks louder)? Also is it ok that red spots appear on the cap during heating (not bright, visible only in the dark)?

Sounds like your holding the cap too close to the flame when heating. Light your torch in a dark room and see how far out the visible flame reaches beyond the blue flame you can see in the light. The tip of that lighter flame that you can't see in the light is where you want to be. Think barely touching or "brushing" the lower side of the cap as you hold it above the flame with the very tip of that invisible part of the flame.

I usually keep it inside that invisible flame, 2-3 mm from the tip of visible flame. Gonna try to keep it further away next time.

Honor single torch, flame length 2.5-3 cm to invisible part tip.

If indoors, so no wind, try to keep flame at minimal size without causing it to flicker as well.

Welcome! Lovely stash, beautifully made. Though I reckon folks around here would get a lot more excited if you had DV stashes in the coloured burl you are using for other dugouts. . . . Those are SWEET!

Had a similar experience in my first few weeks.
The red spots can be remedied by using a smaller flame as @Ramahs said, and a faster, smoother spinning motion. This part just takes practice.
I've also found ABV to be darker when using smaller quantities and/or finer grinds with the same heating time, so that should be the reason for the combustion.

@MaalboroMan thanks, gonna try smaller flame and faster spinning. First time I tried to spin it forward and backward when heating, but I couldn't make full turn without fear to drop it especially when already high, so I started to spin it one side and not fast (as recommended George in one of his videos).

So, using either a very large toothpick or a very small wooden skewer (I also use them for "sewing up" chicken / turkey cavities after stuffing), I push a ball of de-gummed hemp fibre gently through my week's use supply of condensers (and it's only really the NonaVong & the Omni) with a gentle but firm rotating action. What comes out the other side is enough to get me mellow yellow on a Sunday morning (and my 'Caps in reasonable condition).

I bought my first Dynavap (M) this week and love it but have read that its better with a Ti tip and also the XLS upgrade. I can get a Ti tip, XLS condenser and spinning Ti mouthpiece for around £75 or just jump straight to an Omni XL for £160.
I'm leaning towards the Omni as I can just switch tips with the M and then have two vapes to too choose from/a cheap one for going out, or is there not much difference between the two

I went straight for the Omni after breaking my first OG version - never really understood the spinning mouthpiece so can't compare. If I were you I'd splash out on the Omni And throw in a Vong body so you can use it through water. You will be so happy
EDIT: I see you're looking at the XL - I have the standard size Omni - don't know what sort of Vong body/stem you'll need there - a stem, I'm guessing ...... anybody?

How in the world are you able to heat the cap for 40-50 seconds with a torch? You don't mention the heat up click at all just the cool down click. If I heated my vapcaps for that long not only would the load combust the cap would be glowing red.
A video or it's not real.
