alright guys, need some guidance..just got this message yesterday..I've owned my crafty about 6-7 months (purchased in sep 2015) it has about 53 hours on the clock..very very bummed out..I have submitted an RMA request on storz and bickel website and now I guess I"m supposed to wait for them to contact me? I'm getting the red and orange flashing lights when I try to turn on the vape. Sometimes the vape will not flash the red and orange and will act like it's turning on (stay red) but won't heat up..very frustrating as I have taken' great care of this thing since day 1. what are my next steps ? - I'm located in cali if that helps.
Sorry I don't know the exact piece to refer you to, but some of these, even at this almost-pocket size, have cables etc so you can jump start your car. At least one, since they have 12V output, has the exact right plug for Mighty, plus the usb for Crafty, Apple notebooks, etc. One could go for days...Wow 10000mAh, I think I may need one of those too! Duracell's will serve there purpose for pocket use, but a bigger one like the Anker should have it's place in my collection, especially for the backcountry. How many charges do you get? And how much is it? The link says it's unavailable.
Just picked up a 3 pack of Duracell Rechargeable USB's....2600mAh.... will these be okay for my Crafty (and Mighty) or should I be looking at something better? I figured for $30cdn, a 3 pack would be decent, since they are so tiny, and would easily fit in a pocket, even if I could get just 1 recharge out of the Crafty i'd be happy.
What do you guys use for portable USB power that you're happy with?
Yeah, fast USB charging starts at 2A and above. There are some wall-warts that output only 1A (think iPhone 5W chargers), the bigger ones in size (but not always) are the 2A fast ones like the included adapter. Thanks for the posts fellas, and special thanks to @420chillin for your first post on FC! Welcome! That looks like a great one, i'm wondering if 2600mAh may not be enough, and I totally forgot about my Mighty needs, so may need something a little more versatile than the little duracell lipstick container sized ones from Costco. Haven't even opened, so could return fortunately. I'm guessing the duracell won't output 2A, so it will be a crawl to full charge, much like just using the USB in my car. Full capacity would be more like using the a/c charger wall wart yeah?

Does the 12V output work straight for the Mighty off the batt? Sorry couldn't resist, but it's a valid question. I'd love one of these with the jump-start function, with Mighty charging to boot!AWESOME! I must get one too! The 12v plug for the Mighty is HUGE, and 2A USB to boot is amazing.

Thanks for confirming that the Mighty is compatible with these units. Mighty interested in acquiring one of these. My XP 1 came with a cord to plug directly into the mighty. It can charge it fully twice. It says 12volt 8 amp output next to the port. The mighty draws what it needs so it charges at same speed as the adapter.
The Anker Powercore+ 13400 and Powercore+ Mini are what I have for my Crafty and portable devices. The bulky 13400 is cool for extended sessions and for charging a phone along (or another vape) as it has 2.4A output for fast charging, while the lipstick-sized Mini is what I use to basically turn the Crafty closer to a Mighty in terms of endurance - great for concerts or long walks or situations where you want everything in your pocket. The downside with lipstick-sized/smaller batteries is the low output (1A), but you can imagine how it can be used due to its flexibility.

THE thing is well with my crafty the unit never pulls anywhere close to the 2.4 amps available to it when plugged into the high output usb port. I have a small meter which displays the voltage current and wattage when you pluG something in to charge.
I figure the unit would charge faster if it drew more power. Mine just doesn't.
I use Anker Astro E3 Ultra Compact 10000mAh Portable Charger
It's exactly the size of my iphone 6 (the smaller one) but 1.3 times thicker and about 2 times heavier.
I love it.
its a little big/ heavy for a pocket but perfect for a man purse or fanny pack. If youre looking for a single charge, id go with a lipstick sized one.
This week I got a set of 8 with the magazine, and they are terrific, super convenient and about half a regular bowl of med grind fills them. Faint increase in draw resistance, but barely noticeable. Ordered off the vapormed site. Was just mailing with S&B regarding the capsules - they will also soon be available for non medical folks !-) At vapomed you can only order when you are a ( certified ) medicine man ..
