I use Anker Astro E3 Ultra Compact 10000mAh Portable Charger

It's exactly the size of my iphone 6 (the smaller one) but 1.3 times thicker and about 2 times heavier.

I love it.

its a little big/ heavy for a pocket but perfect for a man purse or fanny pack. If youre looking for a single charge, id go with a lipstick sized one.

Wow 10000mAh, I think I may need one of those too! Duracell's will serve there purpose for pocket use, but a bigger one like the Anker should have it's place in my collection, especially for the backcountry. How many charges do you get? And how much is it? The link says it's unavailable.

sorry, i don't know why its unavailable. I paid $33 usd. I'm not sure how many charges since I've never used it fully with only the crafty. I usually plug other things in to charge as well.

Think it's just out of stock, but i'll definitely be keeping my eye on it. Really appreciate the help! Thanks!

Just picked up a spare CU and seal pack for the Crafty! Would I be getting a little overboard downloading the app before my Crafty even arrives? :mental::nod:

Sorry I don't know the exact piece to refer you to, but some of these, even at this almost-pocket size, have cables etc so you can jump start your car. At least one, since they have 12V output, has the exact right plug for Mighty, plus the usb for Crafty, Apple notebooks, etc. One could go for days...

Just picked up a 3 pack of Duracell Rechargeable USB's....2600mAh.... will these be okay for my Crafty (and Mighty) or should I be looking at something better? I figured for $30cdn, a 3 pack would be decent, since they are so tiny, and would easily fit in a pocket, even if I could get just 1 recharge out of the Crafty i'd be happy.

What do you guys use for portable USB power that you're happy with?

2600mah will just be enough for one full charge of the Crafty.

Thanks for the posts fellas, and special thanks to @420chillin for your first post on FC! Welcome! That looks like a great one, i'm wondering if 2600mAh may not be enough, and I totally forgot about my Mighty needs, so may need something a little more versatile than the little duracell lipstick container sized ones from Costco. Haven't even opened, so could return fortunately. I'm guessing the duracell won't output 2A, so it will be a crawl to full charge, much like just using the USB in my car. Full capacity would be more like using the a/c charger wall wart yeah?

The Anker Powercore+ 13400 and Powercore+ Mini are what I have for my Crafty and portable devices. The bulky 13400 is cool for extended sessions and for charging a phone along (or another vape) as it has 2.4A output for fast charging, while the lipstick-sized Mini is what I use to basically turn the Crafty closer to a Mighty in terms of endurance - great for concerts or long walks or situations where you want everything in your pocket. The downside with lipstick-sized/smaller batteries is the low output (1A), but you can imagine how it can be used due to its flexibility.

Yeah, fast USB charging starts at 2A and above. There are some wall-warts that output only 1A (think iPhone 5W chargers), the bigger ones in size (but not always) are the 2A fast ones like the included adapter.

@elmomuzz posted about this one a couple of years ago. Still available and gets good reviews. (I know there are other manufacturer versions, some of which are less safe.) The 12v plug will charge Mighty pretty quick. There's 2A usb, plus that jump-start your car feature. I've been desiring one of these a long time, might need to do it for the beach vacation this year... I can handle a power outtage, but not a vape outtage on vacation!

edit; sorry this link goes to XP-3 version; once there, look at XP-1 (or XP-10)

XP-10 version looks good, too, but bigger.

AWESOME! I must get one too! The 12v plug for the Mighty is HUGE, and 2A USB to boot is amazing.
Does the 12V output work straight for the Mighty off the batt? Sorry couldn't resist, but it's a valid question. I'd love one of these with the jump-start function, with Mighty charging to boot!

Hopefully @elmomuzz will ring in here.
I believe the XP-1 has, included, the right outlet and a plug wire to connect it to Mighty to charge. I don't know if it feeds enough to run a depleted Mighty, though it would appear so...
Others understand better than I. Mighty's stock wall charger output is 12v/3amp. The XP-1 spec says 12V/10amp, and I believe this is okay? Mighty will only draw what it needs?

THE thing is well with my crafty the unit never pulls anywhere close to the 2.4 amps available to it when plugged into the high output usb port. I have a small meter which displays the voltage current and wattage when you pluG something in to charge.

I figure the unit would charge faster if it drew more power. Mine just doesn't.

My unit with about 75 hours on it heats to 255 in 2.5 minutes.

I use a jackary charger from amazon. it hold 6000 mAh. it charges my crafty 2.5 times and its $15. they have some really nice 12000mAh units too.

2.5

cool stuff. very curious if anybody else has and does measure the current pull of their crafty.

The crafty (charging circuit) is 5V and rated @10W so it will only ever draw 2A at peak. I have checked it before and remember it peaking at about 8.5W or 1.7A then dropping the current near the end of charge.

I use the smaller 6700mAh Astro. It's very slim and around the same weight as the Crafty. It's the same capacity as the official Power Bank so should be good for two full recharges. It's actually just an awesome portable battery in general and hella cheap at $20.

Was just mailing with S&B regarding the capsules - they will also soon be available for non medical folks !-) At vapomed you can only order when you are a ( certified ) medicine man ..
This week I got a set of 8 with the magazine, and they are terrific, super convenient and about half a regular bowl of med grind fills them. Faint increase in draw resistance, but barely noticeable. Ordered off the vapormed site.

S and B told me they are bringing out a plenty and volcano "reducer" that fits the capsules, so I am set!

Have you ever talked to Puff it Up before buying on eBay to check prices? Plus piu is the best all around (unbelievable service, prices, etc.).

They are VERY reputable, and a listed retailer on this site. Best prices, best service, incredibly fast delivery...

Personally, I'd have had only positive experience with them and I don't remember anyone here having something negative to say.
