My unit have been ship today via express post !! Hope to get it for the weekend! First time I order via Vaporizers.ca but they have an amazing Customer service, and they give me free goodie with my crafty!! Hope to like it, like the people on this thread, it seem an amazing device!

Sweet, since they are in stock I'm going down to the warehouse to pick one up in person, thanks for the heads up!

Hi Very high
Gotta love the filling tool thingy with this vape, makes reloading a breeze! Haven't tried reloading on the go though yet, haven't needed to :D my crafty currently set at 185c then boosted by a further 16 degrees :uhoh: With the speed of my draw the unit flashs red then green when its back up to temp, not had any issues with the timer this way.

Awesome Vape!! So long Pnp and Ascent, you served me well. I will just keep the trusty Solo as the back up

I realized I don't even need a battery pack since I always have a dual 18650 ecig/oil vape on me with a micro usb port, I just need this cable (along with the regular micro usb cable)

Ok ... I know I'm breaking the dual post rule ... but think this deserves a post of its own.

The Crafty draws slightly <1.5A while charging ... this is important as the adapter supplied is 2A but if one is looking for a portable USB battery pack to charge one's Crafty, or another USB adapter, one only requires a 1.5A/1500mA adapter/battery pack and it should charge at the same rate as a 2A pack or charger.

This makes a big difference especially in regards to USB battery packs as there are way more cost effective 1.5A battery packs available then there are 2A ones! Really provides many more options!

So the rule of thumb would be while purchasing USB battery packs to charge the Crafty:

- 2600mAh required per full charge
- 1.5A output required to charge at maximum charge rate

Hey, my Crafty is on the way and I'm looking to buy a long micro USB cord and a battery power bank for it off amazon. I want to make sure I don't buy a cord that charges slow or a sub par battery pack. So I was reading this and it sounds like a foreign language lol. Any way, which ones should I get? Or what words should I put in my search?

I saw someone on hear said they got this power bank, http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00AX9Z5GM/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

And I stumbled on these cords,

I bought this one and am satisfied with it. For my cell phone thats is; I dont own a crafty. Twice the charge (and size I guess) for the same price.

http://www.merimobiles.com/xiaomi-5v-2a-10400mah-power-bank-for-smartphone-tablet_p/meri8548.htm

About long term battery usage. I usually vape alternating 2 solos (the persei is new). Fully charge one while I fully deplete the other. I killed my 2 solo battery pack in about 8 months ( I had about three 0.07g bowls per solo at that point). Since the batteries are similar in size, I see myself killing a crafty battery in 4 months..

Im curious to know how the usb powerbank performs while using it on a weak/dead battery. What is the point, if there is, where the crafty will NEED to be sent for battery replacement to work.

Out of my ass, I think the mighty will always be able to work while plugged even on a dead batterry, while the crafty will need a battery replacement here and there. Too bad we cant do it ourself..

Quick question for you crafty owners. Can you pair one crafty to multiple devices running the app? I successfully paired it to my iPad 2 but when I try to pair it to a iPhone 4 it won't work. Even when I enter the serial number on the phone.

Maybe my iphone is too old?

Can't wait for my first vape two hours from now!

I got an email from Gotvape. I see they sell the Crafty and the Mighty. They have a 20% off of the entire site. I would assume includes the units. You would have to check. Use code: VET20. I don't know if they are an authorized vendor.

I'm interested but still a waiting more observations from FCers.

How many battery cycles per week on each of them?
And are you attributing it to the fact you were fully discharging and recharging on each cycle?

I would break it in with a bowl to coat the cooling unit if you have time before you go out.
I like my cooling unit 100% clean personally :) ... been swapping the 2 that I have out daily (cleaning is a breeze though) ... I'll be purchasing an extra 3-pack as well so I have 5 total once they are available somewhere in Canada ...

The only reason I said that is if he was expecting to demonstrate large clouds to friends. A clean cooling unit can make the vape "seem" anemic to the uninitiated.

I dont know the number in cycles; I would kill the bowl in 1.x 12min session. And I was a bit over arizer's definition of dead batteries when I asked for a warranty battery replacement. Maybe under half of its original capacity?

I think fully charging and fulling depleting batteries using the manufacturer's programmed battery limits is a good easy to follow middle ground. Better than charging after every use for sure. But @OF stated you can double your lifetime battery session production on the solo following advices in that article compared to what I did.

I charge my crafty with my power bank in between sessions, but I'm not a heavy vaper, but I haven't had to recharge my power bank once in the last few days.

If you don't need portability, small size or discretion, then get the mighty.
If you value these things, then go crafty.

I can only assume the mighty would have a better long term battery life as it would not need as many battery cycles for the same amount of use (theoretically you are halving the amount of cycles you are subjecting the batteries to, because it is double the battery life).

I'd say the Crafty because you can get a power bank for less than $20 on amazon. Even if you bought 2 power banks you'd still be spending less money than you would on the Mighty. And you'd have the battery power of the Mighty when you want it and the still have the size of the Crafty that you want.
For anyone choosing between the Crafty & Mighty I'd say If you have to think about it, then go with the Crafty. You can work around the battery life, especially with it using a standard Micro-USB, but you can't work around the size of the Mighty. You just have to live with it. Unless you're fine with that, go for the Crafty.

deuzax: In all practicality, 9 times out of 10 I would recommend the Mighty when battery life is a concern, but in your case (only vaping in the evening) the Crafty should work just fine. As others have mentioned, you will likely want to pick up a power bank, or at least an extra-long USB cord, but with your usage, you might not even need that. I would find it highly unusual if the Crafty couldn't even last you three sessions.

Thank you guys, I guess you convinced me ! I expect the Crafty to be shipped next week, can't wait to try the beast !

Are there some news about the Crafty app to be available for Windows ?

@spoutti, if you kill the battery within 4 months, why not using the 2 years warranty and make S&B replace your battery for free ?

I decided to finally put in an order for a crafty. Thinking of it as an early christmas present to myself!
Has anyone ordered to the UK off of S&B? Just wondering how long it normally takes.
