Imo it's my fault that crafty kissed the floor quite hard.
I could start a fight with s&b about sturdiness, build quality and so on if they ever would refuse warranty. But I feel guilty, too. I'm totally not the type of guy sticking to laws or rules, but sometimes I stick to my understanding of morality a little too much.
I think s&b will send me a brand new unit in any case since the crack around the locking mechanism is common and I have still a unit from 2014 with the dark blue o-rings. I had the same crack on the first mighty and absolutely no problem with warranty. Its customer service who made me a s&b whore. So I'm quite confident to get a free repairing or a warranty, but if ever they charge me 50€ I would be ok with it after I obviously dropped my unit and I need a new battery soon, too...
Just really weird thinking of mine about karma and so on, not a customer service problem with s&b. I'll find out in the near future if they charge or not. Until now I'm still with my "broken" crafty since its still hitting hard like on day one.
I still hope they are going to redesign the housing to tell you the truth. That's what I'm waiting for to warranty my unit and hopefully this will be the last time I'll have to deal with cs. even if they are fast, I would prefer to never send my beloved vaporizers away! 1 week without the mighty was so hard...
