So are you saying that you get two half-packed sessions out of your Crafty? What if you go to a concert or out on a boat for the day? That is my concern about buying a Crafty is that the battery is basically worthless. I understand you can bring a battery pack with your Crafty but that is a pain in the butt. I need to get a few sessions even if they are half packed out of it. If it can't get me through a concert or boating day its not for me.
This will depend on how
you use it, i only have 13 hours on mine but i can get 6
full bowls out of one battery charge (although i think this would be too harsh for most users as i have to finish a bowl in around 2 minutes to get this many) if i take my time (around 10 mins per bowl) i get 3/4 full bowls per battery charge.
If i compare this to my arizer air or haze the battery does seem the weak point, but IMO this is down to the way the crafty works and not down to a bad choice of battery, i could be wrong here but IMO the crafty is more convection based which uses more power? Like my firefly that goes through battery's fast.
You need to think about what is more important to
you, with the crafty IMO its strong point is the
big amount of vapor and quality/taste (taste only a very little way behind the firefly IMO) of vapor it can produce while drawing as hard as you like (the heater is fantastic) i use mine as my big hitter, if the battery is a worry for you get the mighty then you also have temp control on the device (no need for phone if on a boat)
We are lucky and unlucky at the same time, as there are so many great vapes out there right now.
For groups or long days the arizer air or haze may fit better as you get more out of each battery and can carry a few spares, and both do perform as good at getting you where you want to be just in a different way.
While everyone has different wants/needs there will never be a perfect vape for everyone, each one has some kind of trade-off, best you can do is think about what is
really important for your usage and find the one that best fits or succumb to VAS and empty your bank
Hope some of this helps and doesn't just gives you a headache
it is late in the UK so I've already started my rituals, I've given my offerings to the crafty and I'm sure my prayers of sleep will soon be answered
.
Edit: just read your post and i would suggest full bowls over half bowls to get the most out of it, as heat up IMO uses more power than maintaining it, my usage would suggest this as i get longer run time (in minutes) when taking my time and working the heater less aggressive, when i have hungry lungs i get through more herb but with shorter run time, but with half bowls you will use almost the same power to heat up but only use half the herb although you should get through it faster.
