How does the tips compare, native one vs dyna o ring vs camouflet? Is the camouflet worth to buy for this use? I like small doses

I think getting the Camouflet Convector tip for the CL is worth it. Fits perfectly in the CL with no accessories.

I don't believe that it does because I think they increased the diameter of the bowl in the V2. Maybe double check this on their site. The V1 is a perfect fit so the bowl can't be even 1mm wider.

Hopefully the V1 is discounted now since the V2 was released.

It looks very nice like this. How it is filled tho? isn't some herb going to the sides between the dana tip and the CL bowl?

No this won't happen if you keep the level of your flower 1-2mm under the lip of the Dynavap bowl and have a little tamp. I take my first hit horizontally so no flower spills just in case. After the first hit, the flower will be all sticky and shrunken and shouldn't move again.

No worries! That link looks like the right one.

If you can buy only the tip, it could be cheaper for you if you have other 8mm stems. I use my convector tip on a Dynavap BB9 glass stem at the moment.

It's good for me. I run my CL at around 3 on the temperature dial when I'm hitting it directly. You can find your favorite temperature after some experimenting.

I still have my original screen so they're pretty durable but I'm sure we could find replacement screens that fit from elsewhere or even cut our own screens to the correct size from larger screens.

Just for curiosity's sake... What is the outer & inner diameter of the Camouflet Convector tip? And does it slip into the Couch Log's heater core (like in the Underdog or HI) or over it (like the E-Nano)?

Does the glass mouthpiece also fit the Couchlog XL?

I thought I read somewhere in this thread that they were compatible, but without a perfect seal like the standard Couchlog. Just trying to confirm.

Congrats!

I think you will love the pure convection experience of hitting the CL directly. Try setting your temp to about 3 on the dial as a starting point and bring the CL up to your mouth to hit it horizontally, at least for the first hit so nothing spills accidentally into the heater. I think you'll love the CL. It's a great log and a great first desktop vape. At least it was for me.

The BB9 is a nice stem too because of the cooling and you can flutter the carb on it to add fresh air and really cool down your hits.

I enjoy the short vapor path that preserves flavor.
I enjoy how a log that can keep up with your draw feels and behaves like the cherry on a joint, pumping out more vapor as you pull harder.
I love doing a little "drive-by" hit during the day because it's so easy to load and accessible.

I would say to anyone that doesn't own a log, do yourself a favor and try one out! If you're reading this thread you're halfway there because there's already obviously some interest!

I love doing a little "drive-by" hit during the day because it's so easy to load and accessible.

I honestly don’t even know where to start. The Couchlog completely blew me away. I was left speechless by how efficient, tasty, and easy to use it is.

Using the convector bowl with a BB9, I can take perfect microdose hits without a bong, using just 0.05g or even less. Throat doesn't even tingle a little. The vapor is smooth and flavorful, and it never combusts on level 5. Full extraction takes just three quick heat cycles, and the AVB comes out a perfect dark brown. It’s actually more satisfying colour than what I used to get with my Dynavap + IH setup.

I truly believed nothing could beat the Dyna for microdosing. But after trying the Couchlog, I don’t see myself going back. I used to do 10–20 heat cycles on the Dyna to get a result that now takes less than 30 seconds with the Couchlog, and the result is better.

Cleaning seems to be also super easy. Honestly, even easier than the Dyna, which I didn’t expect.

I’m really thankful for everyone here who shared their experiences and helped point me toward this vaporizer. I hope it lasts a long time, because it’s going to be my daily driver for the foreseeable future. I don’t think I’ll need another vape for years.

Helluva versatile desktop vape, with some very nice design touches. I recommend you grab a 14mm input glass bowl from VGoodiez or someplace similar. It is a must have accessory for me with the Couchlog. Toss it in some iso and good as new.
