710 coils

So after further inspection of all hybrid round bottom bangers. I have found they all have the slight gap on the inside where the puck has been welded to the body of the banger.

Anyone that has gotten these that would like to swap them for something else just needs to shoot me a direct message and I will get you taken care of.

I am terribly sorry for missing this and I am working on getting replacements made that are as expected =)

Hope it's ok to chime in here on the subject with a 'competitors' product...

I purchased this (posted the link in another thread) banger as part of a larger discounted 4/20 order just to checkout:

It fit the 710Coils regular coil fine so I set it to 460 (?) and dropped in a 6mm ruby pearl. Waited, let a good sized amount of live resin drip off the dabber on to the pearl and had a few good hits checking out caps etc and then spaced a little and got to the cleanup a little late... It was cooked on enough that I didn't want to deal with having it on the coil so I took it apart to scrub and inspect it better and instantly noticed the thin brown ring at the seam on the inside. So I got to work on it and by gawd, that tiniest of ring is a real mofo to remove! Ended up letting it soak in Simple Green and the next day it wiped out with a stiff swab... I've used it again and it's actually quite nice if you just keep the oil from running up to the seam and swab right away, very efficient it seems... And you can drop an insert in there and it does work, but it's not really what it's meant for so I'm not going to bother doing that. I wonder if this is going to be an inherent issue with hybrid bottom bangers?

And this folks, is why you buy from a known, quality, respected and trusted community retailer like @710Coils...! I wouldn't even bother asking the people I got this from about their banger (tried talking about another issue once before...) and the issues, let alone expect to be offered an exchange... but I knew this going in.

Fwiw, I’ve not touched anything but my full round bottom the last few days... it is exactly what I was hoping for, I’m going to order backups to leave in my RiO cases

@FlyingLow , gonna purchase a round bottom banger for cold start. Did u get the deep dish or regular?
I really like the deep dish for my axial coil setup, but as @invertedisdead stated, there definitely is condensation

In looking at my quartz, it appears I've really shifted towards all deep dish.

They give me a little more peace of mind that I can splash around a bit more haphazardly while worrying less about pulling oil down the neck of the banger.

Ive gone through the last 50+ posts and saw nothing from inverted regarding condensation. care to elaborate on condensation issues?


@710Coils do you have any demand for bangers with extended necks? I would certainly be interested if you offered these as well! I find the Long Jawn bangers to provide some nice clearance for cold starts, but are just too damn expensive and not for the working class.

Sorry, may have put words in invert mouth. This is what I see on my quartz banger, specifically below the neck. Not sure if this is how quartz bangers look, as I was using the liger setup before this. Sorry, setup needs a good cleaning

Shane, I'm on page 8 of reading this thread and I am so impressed with all that you do with your involvement here and what you have produced. I just started following your IG and I hope I replied to the correct post for the May contest (and done it correctly I hope).

I would like to revisit something that was briefly discussed in this thread about the Errlectric and a coil from you for it. I know it has an XLR plug and that your coils are not that style. I am more than willing to take my Errlectric apart to try and help you reverse engineer so you could possibly produce a coil for it. My controller is out of warranty anyway so I don't mind taking apart.

If you don't want to deal with that, no worries, just let me know.

@CrazyDiamond i have had several errlectric controllers and In the end I honestly think you would be better off with an auber or a disorderly conduction controller.
I can hook you up with a deal on a controller and coil and you just need to shoot me a direct message

also my previous post I said I was getting hybrid bottom bangers with a seem and meant to say without. The next round will be perfect and I am very excited to get them back in stock

Got my order today...holy crap that was fast. Very pleased. I must admit when I saw the box I was like how the hell did everything fit in that little ass box? Well, I was a poor judge of how big this stuff is.

Huh? You said standard coils get stretched when paired with deep dish coil? I wasn't asking about two coils; I was asking can you use a standard quartz banger with the deep dish coil? I bought the deep dish banger and deep dish coil; it looks to me like you could use either the standard banger and the deep dish banger with the deep dish coil.

Sorry I meant deep dish bangers.
The deep dish banger has 6mm more depth and the standard coil is missing 2 wraps when compared to the deep dish coil.
So if you try to pair a standard coil with a deep dish banger, it will stretch the coil.
If you try to pair a standard banger to a deep dish coil, the banger neck won’t meet up with the coil arm as expected

I'm normally running the box at 380. Rarely turn it up past 420.
