hey folks, I also think its a pity that they did not develop the device further. However please tell me which pure convection on demand vape performs better than the firefly? I only heard of the Ghost MV1. Are there any other better alternatives out there that are pure convection and on demand?
This and several other similar videos will give you an idea of what disassembly looks. If you have some experience with (de)soldering ic's or watch a lot of Big Clive it might not be too hard. Or you could put a bandaid over it
...probably a stupid query, i am pretty useless when it comes to electronics - but would it be complicated to disconnect / disable this green firefly logo in the firefly 2+? at this price i am debating getting one again. i have been close to ordering one a couple of times. but looking at this...
Both of my OG firefly batteries are toast and won't take a charge. It occurs to me that there are probably two 14500 in series in there, so easy to replace long term if I can get the pack open.
I'm not sure I can justify getting a black FF2+ since I already have the FF1 (which is my fave)...
Some mid afternoon Wedding Cake out of my first love, the FireFly OG 💜 ... still the finest tasting vape i have ... and I'll never get tired of seeing that vapor path trail on that mirror finish after a nice session
Good afternoon everyone. I've had the solo III for a couple of weeks and I absolutly love the terps I get out of it. But it doesn't blow clouds like I see people getting online. I vape at around 375f. I've even heat sunk the oven a bit before vaping. Also I've been using a course grind. I'm...
...a smart design for this, would be to have it powered on running at a super low temp that doesn't produce vapor, so then it could work on demand to heat up to your set vaping temp with the press of a button, powering down when you let go to fully clear (much like the original Firefly's design)
hi! i've never really been active. popped in here and there, and somehow acquired this beast called the venty. i've owned before: the pax 2, arizer air, firefly 2, and the mighty. i'd really like a ball vape! it's good to be [here]. ty.
...wished I knew when I started:
- Conduction is not necessary. Had some very bland experiences with my first pure convection devices (neo prrl, firefly 2+) which left me thinking pure convection was just a fad. Got a Toad recently which has completely changed my perspective and quickly tied...
...use.
The Solo 3 draw is about as restrictive as the Venty when the cooling unit is set to between 1 and 2, with 3 being wide open. I have a FireFly 2+ which is quite restrictive and, to me, unpleasantly so. The Solo 3 is not like that. Since getting the Solo, I've been enjoying the Venty...
...great and beautiful.
Why am I thinking about a new edition? I really do not know...perhaps, I am afraid they will disappear...like the Firefly....a vape that started great and then, no improvements for 20 years....still around but, disregarded.
I am always amazed by it when I start using...
...(Although I wouldn't even bother looking at the mighty for taste or most other session units personally)
Tinymight makes it so I do not miss Firefly much at all though, Firewood9 is also excellent although more conduction, BAK would be a great way to experience full conduction with very pure...
...to a thermal accumulator. but would it be possible to just purchase a tempest head and attach it to a dynavap compatible stem? by now i think i prefer the simple glass options, no need for elaborate cooling or airflow control for me ..
i would love to see this happen. in a firefly 1 shell.
...a while ago, the company is defunct, they're no longer available anyway... Not sure if at the time this video was made or released...
Firefly was a classic but very flawed, FF2 still off, I now have FF2+ I was able to get very cheap new for the novelty, it is tedious to use, however it does...
