Ispire Wand, enail&vaporizer

With the Ispire adapter glass put in upside down from the bottom into the silicone sleeve it works with the Anvil which is 12.5mm wide no problem so the Armored cap will work with the adapter.
wouldn't the glass either fit or not fit, no matter the configuration? My adapter glass isn't quite 12mm so I am worried the armored cap won't fit

I don't think the armored cap looks promising now that I read a little more I guess it's not working well with the IH. Maybe I will stick with what I have and just get the wand. Also having issues removing the cap sounds like no fun.

The glass adapter doesn’t fit the Armored cap, I insert it into the silicone adapter from the bottom where it keeps the Armored cap equipped Dynavap from falling through sitting near the bottom which can be adjusted doing what it is meant to do ADAPT. Works good, better than my Apollo 2 as there’s no time limit to play with as it takes over 20 sec to get the 2nd click and you need to heat past the click 3-5sec I’ve been doing so far.

edit: Using Sneaky Pete Dynavap Wand adapter, fit’s AC not Anvil, with glass spacers can adjust insertion, also works good need to learn the AC.

That really sounds like what I am looking for @LesPlenty . Sometimes I just like to go for a while without having to mess with anything. I will get some extra batteries as well. I am thinking ahead anticipating more and more extended power outages being possible and ways I can vape for a long time off grid other than butane. I am just going to grab one in the next couple days and forget the new cap for now.

I just bought a used ispire wand.

v .15 and showing 4 heat layouts instead of showing a temp?... says 2021

is there anyway to update the firmware and also is it worth changing it to temp mode?...

using for a dynavap.

Do you have the one with the "Flower" mode? if so I think this is the EU model
I've got one last year and it came with v .15 and works great.

Strawpack with ground meds 1-2 aggressive heat ups.

Whole nugs crammed in 3 - 5 slower heat ups.

The Wand is great as you an use it like a torch and adjust your heating on the fly. :spliff:

Trying to decide between building my own induction heater with an arduino board for custom heating profiles etc. or if I should just buy The Wand and stop thinking about it. I like the replaceable batteries. I have several Dynas and am planning on getting the Dani Fusion.

If you use concentrates at all, for about US$40 more (As a repeat customer, I am now a Bronze member on Sourcemore) you could get an Ispire DAAB. It also uses quick swap 2x18650s and comes with a glass cup to rest a DV in while heating. Not as pocketable but a better desk top DV heater.
Not sure on where you can get Ispire cheap but the DAAB was on sale at Sourcemore for just over US$180 and the Wand was about US$140 (for Bronze members)...delivered to Oz.
420 coming up soon so may be a good time to buy...I already have both but would only replace the DAAB if they broke (if I did not have a DabLamp cause that works with a DV too).
My plug-in IH now gets used for heating rosin collection tools now and my homemade IH gets used for mechanical work!

Woah, I saw that thing but never thought to pair it with the Dyna. Is there a video of that in action?

I did not know this. Need to process it a bit. A DAAB, you say? Thank you, @LesPlenty.
Been loving the Wand. Couldn't hurt to look...

Just got a wand and wondering if I may need a firmware update or if that's even possible to do myself?
working pretty well with dynavaps but the dabs I'm getting are pretty weak at 600F, maybe I'm being too shy and need to load larger dabs or just crank it way higher?
I know the temp control isn't accurate on the wand, but I normally dab under 500F on my dtv5 and get punishing clouds, this is pretty wispy in comparison. I was trying out the auto mode at 600f loading the dab when hot. Thought I heard somewhere you are supposed to be able to upgrade the firmware/ software but I can't find anywhere on ispire's site to do that and when I tried connecting it to my pc it only seemed to charge, no combo of button presses did anything.
Any tips or links to previous messages in the thread are welcomed, sorry for my newb questions I'm sure this stuff has been answered in the last 28 pages lol. Currently I'm running firmware V 00.15 according to the device.

There is no temp control on the Wand, it puts the same power all the time dependent on the batteries. The temp selection runs a timer that shuts off the induction when their estimated time needed to reach the selected temp. There is no temp measurement or power control. Don’t know anything about firmware upgrades. The Euro model or older model has a flower or concentrate selector, mine has no such selector. :2c:

yea same with mine, the only thing I can change is Celsius to Fahrenheit and then obviously the temperatures and on off. I guess since the metal inside is heating the glass, that must be what the temp/timer calibration is set for? so really just longer heating is the best option i guess turn up the temp in auto or just hold the button longer in manual? i was thinking maybe a firmware/ software change could just make it heat with a bit more power but from what you're saying it seems like it's just locked in. More experimentation is needed i guess haha, thanks for your help.

Does anyone have a hack/trick to laying the dynavap in the wand to click w/o the official dynavap adapter? I've seen sneaky Pete using one of the bangers but it looks like you still have to hold it. I'm hoping to just drop it in and take out if possible.

I haven't tried this method but I've heard some people get good results by using it upside down and resting the cap on the inside edge. The Ispire dynavap insert sets the cap to low in my experience so I added some silicone spacers to raise it up, the SK Creations insert from etsy is super rad as well and works great hands free. I've also seen someone use those small silicone dab containers which seems to work well. Link to Post
