TinyMight / TM 2

Can someone help a total newb out? So it's all cleaned and packed, what do I do next? I ask as I turned it on on demand mode (3 clicks) but it seems to just keep blinking green, is this right? I got scared and switched it off šŸ¤£
Blinking means itā€™s on and ready to go. When you want to take a hit, click and hold button. When it buzzes youā€™re ready for a nice slow draw.

I figured that was probably it, thanks for the assistance šŸ‘

Edit: just took my first hit @ 5.5, I'm in love already

Edit 2: 2nd hit OMG šŸ˜±

Edit 3: 3rd hit in and just wanted to say believe the hype, it's really that good!šŸ˜

Edit 4: couldn't be happier! If someone isn't happy with the performance then they either have a defective unit or clearly they are defective themselves šŸ™‚

Here's the first of what will be many stem packs, this was actually done closer to 5 than 5.5 btw

That's it for now, off to do some yardwork!

SEARCH for the treasure...

This video link was posted earlier in this thread. Just a reminder, the ā€œexpertā€ that made the video, never mentions the oring (clear on mine) that sits on top of the inner glass tube, under the top cover. And the heater screen comes with the WIDE edge UP, as the Tinymight maker also has confirmed, thatā€™s how I use my TM OG.

I don't have glass in my TM it seems!
Life Is Good Rap GIF by 2 Chainz

Itā€™s hard to see as itā€™s very clean and clear. My friends came with the top clear glass tube ā€œbrokenā€. I removed the removable metal tube to clean it, thatā€™s when I noticed the broken glass. The heater is coiled inside the bottom glass tube, and when I turned the TM upside down, the coil slipped out, so I was unable to replace the top glass tube. Once that happened, it was beyond my ability, and since it was brand new, I returned it for repair, got it back a week later.

holy shit!

My TM has its old power again, thank you a lot . Now I even need to calibrate it down again.

Havnt used that unit 3 month already, I thought it was broken.

Now it will be in rotation with my tetra p80 !

Love both vapes equal again! ;D
Iā€™ve never calibrated my OG TM. If the power is diminished I just loosen the screw slightly and re-tighten it and power is restored. I have taken my TM apart several times for various reasons and shimmed the contact under the top plate ages ago; I havenā€™t disassembled it since last year when I sanded the body down and gave it a good beeswax application.

And yes, itā€™s mostly love at first vape with the TM - most enjoy it right out of the gate. I fondly recall my first time with mine. Itā€™s an amazing vape, versatile, powerful, and all that great stuff. Most truly enjoy it. TM2 seems even better! :peace:

i've held off making comparisons for the first few days as I wanted to be confident and certain in my comments. TM2 appears to be be everything the OG TM should have been IMHO.

I love the USB-C charging as I am forgetful with charging so when I go to use it and its flat, by the time I've put the kettle on and made a coffee there is ample charge to rinse a bowl without it dying again.

Also, I am really impressed with low temp use, it performs really well and can extract everything between level 3 and finish off on 5.

The wood is much nicer and seems more resilient too.

Also, nothing rattles when you shake it! No button rattle at all.

As a veteran who has tried pretty much all major portables over the past 7 years, I can't think of anything that comes close and that must worry folks like Storz & Bickel as it's going to take something mega to slow down the Tinymight steamroller.

League of it's own for portables and it's not even close.

Only argument for others is idiot proof design that you can hand to friends.

I hear this regularly about the TM and I can't understand it. Is it draw speed? Holding a button while inhaling? What are people getting wrong? The TM might be the simplest vape that I own to operate and that includes the mass-market portables.
it's intuitive for a regular vaper. The problem arises when you hand it to somebody who has never vaped. Session mode is perfect for these scenarios as all they have to do is put it in their gob and inhale.

The idea of passing it around in session mode stresses me out haha, because people wouldn't be able to clear their hits with the power constantly flowing to the heater... Almost as bad as using an all-out session vape, with people standing there talking, wasting the vapor instead of hitting it lol

FIrst time it lost power was half year ago, always I could increase power again with calibration, but now its on the highest level already and it is still weak,

Okay, just had to point out, this is exactly why the solution to a TM that is suddenly feeling less powerful, is absolutely not to recalibrate it, you see how you kept recalibrating it higher and higher over time, because you weren't solving the problem

Personally, I wonā€™t be ā€œsharingā€ anything my mouth comes in contact with anyone else. I did in the pastā€¦.
When I have a guest or two, Iā€™m able to offer them a separate device, which I clean later.

On the subject of use, or more specifically ā€œdrawā€, I try to explain to a newbie the differences between a conduction and convection device beforehand. While itā€™s easier for most to draw slowly on my more ā€œrestrictiveā€ devices, like Mighty and IQ2, draw control on a convection device like the TM, Roffu, etc., is in my opinion, a bit more involved. The user becomes more involved with controlling the heat level and resulting output depending on draw strength and draw time. After two years Iā€™m still experimenting, the other variables like strain, moisture, packing, amount, etc., also come into play. But most of you know this alreadyā€¦.

Completely agree it is very simple, but I've found the TM to perform differently depending on grind and how you pack the stem. But after a few tips given to friends, they're off and running!

Is the High artisan Terp Pill stem functional without the mouthpiece?
Functional, yes. That said, I personally find the glass at lips to get pretty hot. Mind you, Iā€™ve been using the bubbler as daily driver, so Iā€™m spoiled by the cool glass. In other words, YMMV.
Personally, Iā€™m going to order a walnut mouthpiece when he has them back in stock to make it comfortable vapor and glass heat.

Abysmal Vapor

Supersniffer 2000 - robot fart detection device
But this is the part I don't understand. Do people not know how to breathe?
There is a workaround for that too, I call it vaporboarding :D...
You basicly suffocate people with one hand and when they are at death's door you release the choke and stick the stem in their mouth ,being their only option to breath through. :D....
This is so going to end in the out of context thread. :p
Protip :

Is a wooden MP not unhygienic? Not like you can clean it with an alcohol wipe. Just seems like it will get nasty.
