2) Is it normal for the stem opening in a TM to be a little off center in it's alignment? Mine is canted about 5 degrees, towards the right in this photo. It's more obvious in person.
It's not really the opening that is off. The OD of your stem is about 16mm (there is variance) and the inside of the channel is 1 to 2mm wider, so there is room for the stem to lean a little. The longer the stem the more pronounced the lean is. It's not a problem.

Anyone know where I can get rimless baskets in the US, they seem to be out of stock everywhere? Should I just form my own? That thick wall stem I'm planning to use will require baskets 1-2 mm smaller than usual but I figured rimless will squish a little.

I probably could have avoided stirring with a lower temp (which means I'll probably keep stirring).
Even at high temps, you don't really "need" to stir. People that go low just avoid the dreaded "black ring of death." If you vape at high temps, no stirring, the outside "shell" of your duff puck will be yellowish-brown, but the insides will be as darkly roasted as the top ring.
TM still rocks!

Are these colors natural wood or stained, particularly the red? I LIKE the red one :). :peace:

Seem like new exotic woods to me, a nicer oak, darker wood could be anything maybe walnut variant, and likely some sort of red wood (say redheart or padauk perhaps), however they could easily just be different types of finish to the same oak wood too!

Vaping for the health of it.
Aside from the appreciable differences in esthetics and some other minor improvements to function, a 100 dollar difference from the two purchased earlier this year I won't consider buying one unless there is a notable improvement in performance. Slow charge my batteries outside the device so the USB is a non starting point.

Can confirm that an instagram message is (still) the fastest way to reach TM. I did the return thing through the website and followed up with an email, both last Friday. Yesterday I decided to try out instagram, an had a reply within hours.

Regarding the new model, not sure if any of this info is new:
"The new model will be a bit bigger to avoid the weakness in the construction that doesn't always allow the unit to survive drops on floor without damages. So we increase size a bit to make it able to withstand shocks better and make it more reliable in all situations. And the titanium stems will improve this further removing the last fragile part if going to more harsh environments"

Does the £350 include a titanium stem?
I don’t believe so. Several members on here are making them however. Titanium is tempting to hedge any breakage of glass but I bought my TM 2.5 years ago to have my first truly all glass stem and air path in a vape. Love the TM short stock stem (and I now have 2 of them). :peace:

Prices are not yet fixed. Can't think about titanium stem, as anybody uses it different.
The woods are from left to right: Oak, Walnut, "naturally dyed wood" (in my opinion it's dyed walnut sapwood or pear)

LED colors indicates battery level. Not sure if I want this shinig righ into my face, but maybe I´ll cover it.

Anybody knows if the vibrating module is still in there?

It's the tool to adjust bowl size there is a stick attached to it, it's a handle you can pull out with holes for a light to see the activity and battery level (4 color levels)

Everything said about this vape is true, holy shit this thing kicks. I never thought I would use a portable that would leave my Splinter Z in the dust. I had to stop hitting this thing out of self preservation where the Z would just be getting to the point of producing vapor. My ball modded desk tops don't hit this hard, this fast. There was no combustion and I probably could have avoided stirring with a lower temp (which means I'll probably keep stirring
What mod and firmware is your Z on? If your TM is dusting your Z then your Z likely isn't set up right. If you get an Espion or Ravage you can pm me your email address and I'll send you a Z config file for Red Panda

I believe that reference was talking about replacing the internal glass sleeve with Ti, not the stem you load and hit from. That sleeve is what tends to break from floor drops.

No there was a photo of the TM2 with a titanium stem, that is why people keep mentioning it, as far as I know there has been no mention of a titanium inner lining, just at the glass lining has been made thicker and more robust...? Not many breaks with it as is, even from drops

Agreed to disagree, using the Z in straight wattage it is not lacking power, getting it set up with temp control regulation is much nicer, but it's still not quite like the TM regulation that in my experience is extremely consistent and more reliable, no lacking for power and the heater is quite capable (even though steel ribbon is quite different than the steel mesh) but I digress!

@Shit Snacks is right about the inner lining,it will be just twice the thickness and it has undergone multiple drop tests to ensure durability.
Also there are Ti stems comming .
Can confirm on the titanium stem. Also I can finally mention I've had one in my possession for a couple weeks and it's been wonderful. Same great performance but less char rings for sure. Definitely loving the battery cap and new tool for stirring or adjusting the cooling unit.

I'll try to answer anything as quickly as possible but my wife is away until Monday so the kids are currently taking up a lot of my time.
