That initial email is "automated" and from my recent order experience, doesn't really mean anything.

The "HandWarmerPro" I received, that was associated with the DHL tracking number, was never actually given to DHL and my shipment came via UPS.

I also have my evening plans sorted too, because my new stem arrived from Good Vibes Boro (aka Ipod Mike):

It is fantastic by the way. And the green glass turns pink in UV light. I think I'll have to spend some time in the sun with it tomorrow.

I don't want anything else either.
I don't want debris in my lungs either...they've suffered enough:doh:
now i have 6 of these 1/2 CU BALL MOD, clean and ready to use. just change it for a clean one and pass an iso wipe on the stem! 1 min done!:whip:

What is this at the front of stem? It looks like rimmed basket but without the basket xD

So if I'm looking at it right, that tube has 4 clean 1/2 CU Mods in it, ready to go?
Yes... I have more two of these cu mods...one in the TiStem other in the original glass one

Hey! Just wanted to add some comments regarding the TM with the new board. It seems to throw more heat than the previous version of the device. I make this observation as I have not been able to go above 8.5 without having my AVB predominantly black. I have pulled back the the flower 1/4 inch from the screen protecting the heater. Should I distance it further?
The following images after setting at 7.5.

You can try putting it back further, changing how you pack or how you draw, but I never go that high on mine, it is not the new board, it is still plenty capable, that is how it would look on that level for me I think... I finish below 6 for better flavor and no black avb.

My New 2 week old TM (old board) ABV looks just like that at around an 8 on the dial. However, the TM is so good at full extraction I start to see the vapor drop off quickly after a few hits at at 6 or above on the dial. Once fully extracted, I see no reason to continue to increase the heat level. I have yet to combust with my TM, but I have only taken a few hits at level 10 (through water) so far.

How is the low end? Do you still get any vapor when starting a fresh bowl at level 1 on the dial? If you still think its too hot at level 1 you can try adjusting the whole temp range, but if 1 gives you low heat, and 8.5 gives you more heat than you need, your ideal setting can be found somewhere in between. Mix that with slightly adjusting the bowl distance and you'll find your sweet spot in no time!

Nice! Thanks for the pics. I don't have the new board. I would try lowering the temp slightly and adjusting my draw speed.

I wonder if the new TM needs to be stirred? It looks like there is hotspot. It looks like some of your herb is extracted slightly more than I like to extract, while there is other herb that I would want more extraction from.

Yes I have been trying different scenarios and your advice is taken. Man I really like this thing. Stay lifted my brother:)

Yep I as I experiment I am beginning to understand the power of the heater element. It's brilliant!

Yes and a good cloud done natively. I will set up a video tomorrow to give you a better idea if you would like.

shows in stock for me. added to cart no problem.
It shows "out of stock" for me on the detail page, but it does allow me to add it to the cart. According to others in this thread, he marks it as out of stock if he doesn't haven't have them on hand but ships as soon as they arrive. Typically a couple of days.

Some food for thought: my TM does the same thing: obvious extraction in the center and less extracted (or at least green looking) herb along the outside where it touches the stem. I found that stirring made a mess and it was a pain to have the herb come back together into a cohesive mass (I use it native, so if the herb is all loose, it'll fall out of the stem onto the heater screen). And when I did stir, I didn't find I was getting any more effects by mixing that greener herb back into the mix.

And if you don't stir, not only do you avoid the mess when stirring, but when you're done with a load you can easily blow it out of the stem as a single puck (or at least blow it all out, staying as a puck doesn't matter) into your ABV container. Very simple and easy, no mess. If that ABV has some more green in it, then my ABV will just be more potent.

At the end of the day, stirring just seemed cosmetic: trying to obtain even ABV even if I wasn't getting any more use out of the herb. And it tended to make a mess.

Just my own $0.02: not stirring makes using the device simpler, cleaner and less fussy, and stirring didn't seem to do much but make the ABV appear more uniform.

ETA: someone else came up with putting a basket screen between the herb and the heater end of the stem to get more even ABV: so CU, herb and then basket screen. Apparently that works, but I haven't tried it because I just like the process to be simple and I don't feel like adding an extra screen every time I load a stem. But I'd probably do that over stirring.
