Remember that holding the button down does nothing but deplete your battery until you start drawing. I tend to use a 10 second preheat, but if the battery is fully charged this is overkill.

As for draw speed, pulling hard will cause centre-burning. I prefer to use the gentlest draw that produces vapour.

So I used my mi3 for the first time tonight. Overall a success. I loaded the basket screen, tamped down a bit and then did 5 second pre heat and then medium draw with button held for maybe another 4 seconds and I could feel the vapor, then pulsed it generally 2ish off 2ish on. Thst netted me a wonderful flavorful first hit and decent 2-4. Overall easier than I expected.

question - I’ve read that the best way to load is to pack the elbow I think it’s called and then use the basket screen as a cap. Does the mi3 come with a screen to use inside the glass? Or do put a basket screen down there as well somehow?
I only do stem packing now with a modified basket screen for a cap. I used a screen from my sticky brick. Good fit. It takes a little practice, but once you figured out the draw speed it works great. For my splinter and Z, my mod has AF , 300° F or more as needed, 25 second cut off ( usually 20 seconds). I usually stir twice. My milaana 3 runs hot so that's a little more tricky, but doable. Faster draw, less time on the button.

I love the basket screens. There is quite a difference between the M2 and M3 when it comes to technique. I use to stem pack the M3 but changing the baskets allows me better results. With the M2, baskets all the way.
I did buy one of these from @Delta3DStudios , I thought it was pricey at first(and you could probably use a hemp bag as Underdog gives you) but, I use this more than any other desktop widget. Or, get multiple stems.

I usually get around 7 bowls on a charged sony 20A with my mi3s, but only 4 on my mi2s.
Should I expect similar with my Molicels?
How many draws, generally, per bowl?

Just curious why I don’t seem to be getting as much out of my batteries. I generally go pretty dark on my roast and stir maybe once or twice a bowl.

mighty screens work great for this. they’re sold on amazon as ‘15mm screen’ it’s like a 200 pack for $9
Thanks. I checked my mighty packaging and found a spare screen which fits nicely.

how tightly do you pack the join if capping with a basket screen? You can fit quite a lot of flower in there, can it be loosely packed?

Is there any aspects of using the Milaana and its unregulated nature thst are potentially dangerous thst I should be aware of?

when you aren’t using the device, do you typically leave the battery in (with the guitar pick in place) or take battery out?
With the exception of preheating you shouldn't engage the heater when you're not hitting it. I take the battery out but only because I remove the picks; it's safe with the plastic pick in place.

I always remove the battery from the device so I don't have to face anxiety when I leave the house after a session.... 😂

I lost my last stem, does anyone know where I can get a new one? There's 508phineas, but they're only on IG and IG won't let me use an account without a phone number, so I won't let it on my phone. This is the only one I can find in stock that I'm sure fits the milaana 3 but it'll take 10 days to get them.

Does anyone have any other answers?
"Use entexchange"
Not an option, unfortunately.
