I was under the same impression.....because of this email from Ville...

"But if you are a tinker
then I just have to warn you not to try to open the screw inside, the
electronics is attached to the heater with one stainless screw. And it
should be pretty tight. And if you try to open it, the forces bend the
little sticks inside the heater that are in X shape if you watch from
the top..and they are very rigid, so after some force is applied to
the screw, they will most probably snap and the heater collapses and
shorts itself. And it's pretty much done then."

Seems it can be done, but may not be easy?

I thought there was something fragile about it and this is the best detailed explanation I've seen why.

So if someone is going to disassemble they need to be very careful, got it!

Edit: Started my morning with the Tinymight trying to kick a migraine I could feel setting in before my VaporBong heated up (honeymooning still). Long stem with 50 - 4mm balls is kicking ass. Temp 6 and 7, no stirring, nice smooth vapor. I feel better now :).

I hadn't seen this view of the heater - thought I'd share since it might get lost in the original thread:
ulxwp1w8fma51.jpg

Wow the heater is much taller than I thought! That is a huge surface area for heat transfer... No wonder the performance is so good!

Looking from the top down I assumed the heater cool was just a thin little ribbon, good to know it's pretty beefy!

Bad Dog

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
I think I may have actually lost :( my tinymight isn't working in on demand or session mode. In on demand I turn it on and the light blinks, when I hold down the button I can hear the heater engaging then a few seconds later it gives a very shaky couple of quick buzzes and the heater turns off a few seconds after that it gives 1 long buzz and shuts off, every time. In session mode the lights blink but I never hear the heater and it does not get warm. I tried all my batteries, my charger says they are full, I cleaned them with a eraser, ISO'ed the threads.

Edit it's gotten even worse now I turn it on in either mode and it almost immediately gives the shaky buzz, then a long buzz and turns off. Any thoughts?

Oh no @Bad Dog it sounds exactly like a low battery, although you shouldn't have any flashing lights in session mode! The bottom led lights solidly straight away after a flash of green, then the top led lights solidly when up to temp. I doubt that this is your problem though unfortunately. 😓

Cheebsy,

Bad Dog

I'm not sure what my problem was exactly, likely something battery related. After many battery changes and thread cleanings I took a chance and decided to charge it internally for around 15 minutes then unplugged it, turned it on to on demand mode and it vibrated 3 times for battery. I was very excited when something changed so I tried vaping a bowl of cbd so I could keep clear headed while I was trouble shooting but it was working perfectly for another two bowls of cbd so I celebrated with a bowl of thc and the battery died right after. Even with all my switching I tried to keep track of the battery that came with it which is the one I charged internally, the other two batteries are ones that I bought a month ago and haven't used at all. When I bought them I threw it on the charger I bought and it read as fully charged so I put it back in its paper box and didn't use them till today, I even threw it on the charger and it read as full.... or at least I think I did? A fully charged battery and a empty bay are the same lights on my charger, perhaps I didn't connect it properly or waited long enough for the charging cycle to start? In any case the 2 on the external charger read as low then maybe 15 minutes later they were reading 50% so I'm not sure if it was incompetents or cause they sat so long for the batteries I bought but they are still charging now so any further tinymight experiments are on hold till they finish then sit for a while. But initial impressions are positive and I'm appreciative to the maker for the bonus short stem and internal glass...... and all my oring kits were red? Don't know if that's a thing now

Could it be your battery charger or potentially fake/defective batteries?

Ariste,

Bad Dog

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
Could it be your battery charger or potentially fake/defective batteries?
I don't think so I got both at the herb cafe which is a pretty big vape store in Ontario. The charger is a Newi2 and the batteries look legit ie same as what it came with. I'm pretty sure this was user error on my part, must not have made good connection and didn't know any better.

I put it through its paces and it did fine....... better than fine really, pretty dam good 😊 I was surprised by how smooth the vapour was though the long stem but the extraction was quite thorough.

Bad Dog

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
The others you tried were VTC6s as well?
Yes, they are still charging right now. But even with the 15 internal charging I wouldn’t have thought if it was dead from the get go that it would charge enough to use the unit as much as I did? Perhaps the internal charge rebooted it somehow? Probably will never know unless it malfunctions again but so far so good for now

Siebter

Less soul, more mind
What you describe at first glance looks like the cells were just empty; the TM doesn't need much charge to boot, but will shut down as soon as it realizes it's not charged enough to provide a hit (which is indicated by three short buzzes followed by the shutdown with a long buzz soon afterwards).

Storing Li Ions at full charge (for several weeks +) is not the most ideal way btw, they prefer to be stored at 50-60% charge, that will make them live longer.

Glad to see your TM is rocking now. :-)

Bad Dog

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
You win, glad you got your issues worked out and how hard does it hit?
Victory is sweet! Even sweeter with my tinymight. She hits pretty good though I find myself at the higher range 8-10 it's only because I'm very use to big hits from my desktop but extraction is pretty thorough even without stirring and even if you do it's a pretty whispy affair. Hits are really quite smooth and comfortable for there size. You can really slow your breath down to a crawl but I find it seems to like something a bit more medium in draw speed.

You don't have to worry about the bet if you really don't want to make the video lol not that I have any power to make you do squat anyway. Victory is pretty sweet on its own

Edit: @Siebter it was indeed my own ineptitude on the charger and likely my batteries were never fully charged even when I initially tested last month as would make sense for longer term storage as you said and at the time I was a little surprised but didn't think to much about it not having any way to discharge them. Today after my initial failure the two of the 3 batteries I bought and tested with started charging at low then a short while later they were at 50% the third battery I did nothing with stared at 50% when I started charging it. The forth battery I charged internally briefly, I said 15 minutes but it could have been as little as 10 I was somewhat impatient and when it did fire up I got three buzzes for battery level, something I never got at all until I charged it internally. Now it's working perfectly every time but I just don't see how such a brief charging could have possibly done much and that doesn't explain why I never got haptic until I did? A little strange but seems to have all worked out now, still I can't fully explain it 🤔

Glad you got yours & got it figured out! Probably were pretty disappointed when it wouldnt work originally! I was reading it and it sounded like a familiar vibration pattern, so I was hopeful it was something simple! I've also gotten really strange buzzes when I didnt tap it correctly to get it on/off.

So, did it meet your recommendation?

Man I don't mind doing a vid that was the bet , just gonna need.a.day with.it and some one to teach me how to add a video or ill put up link, just need the unit! I'm hoping this week!

Yes definitely 😁 It packs quite a punch with the right draw. Right now the way I'm using it it's a 2 hit and quit deal. Still got to try a little temp stepping one day and it's been very nice to enjoy in my recliner away from my vape station, I feel so untethered. Looking forward to walking the dog 🐶

just need the unit! I'm hoping this week!
Totally worth the wait

So, for some time now I have been principally using 3 different RBT vapes powered by two battery mods, so I have been keeping 6 pairs of batteries (3 in the units and 3 on standby) charged so that I can swap batteries out and always have a hot set for each. Yes, I was a boy scout.
Anyway, now that I am using the TM quite a lot with a single battery (at a time) I find that I have a lot of batteries fully charged and just sitting. Rather than ruin them (by keeping them unused but fully charged) I am thinking of taking 4 at least out of service.
If left at half charge do they last indefinitely in that state?
This should probably be in the battery thread but since the TM has created the "problem" I'm gonna bug y'all in here. ;)

The above info might mean less returns, which are good for all. I’m also happy to see he’s trying to fix problems as he goes along (why send out something with a known fault) and I’m sure anyone who ordered prior to the changes will be able to send it in Should they want to and get the new changes.
Thanks to @Drug for sharing.
Super excited, ready to see what this puppy can do!
I received an email from him suggesting I just "send it in" for repair to the vibration system. When I checked into shipping, it was well over $100/one way to ship it to Finland. He never replied to me after that.

I came across a French reseller of Tinymight which apparently had issues with stocking up and thus delivering to their customers. The page showed some info that might be interesting. Seems the maker has been busy upgrading the vibration function and session mode which has caused a delay.

(I've been lurking this thread a little and haven't seen this info before, forgive me in case I missed it.)

Good news.

We have just delivered part of our order, shipments will begin today and continue throughout the weekend if necessary.

Update 08/31/2020

TinyMight is unable to give us an exact delivery date for our order.

Victim of their own success, they are currently trying to stabilize the quality of production, particularly with regard to the vibration system and the session mode.

We apologize to all our customers who have waited patiently for several months - be sure you will be notified by email as soon as we receive our order for TM - unfortunately late since the end of May.

TInyMight is a very young company born at the end of 2019 which is experiencing the vagaries of a very young company.

We hope to support them in their growth because we are convinced by the quality of their vaporizer and the vapor experience it provides.

If you wish to cancel your pre-order, an email is sufficient.

To all those who are waiting and maintaining their order, TM and we even thank you very much for your patience.

Update 08/11/2020

After a long discussion with the manufacturer (live) here is the result:

> Production delayed due to improvements to the vibration system

Guaranteed delivery before the end of the month, maybe next week (week of the 17th)

thank you for your patience

Update 07/08/2020 -

All production at TM is behind schedule.
We are on hold and with no known fixed date for sending our order by TM.

TinyMight and we apologize for the inconvenience caused by this delay.

Update 07/02/2020

Our order was further delayed in production at TM.

We are awaiting news from TM.

As soon as we have news of our order this page will be updated.

TM has just informed us of a production delay of around ten days. Our joint apologies for this delay in sending your order /
Thanks for your post. There were speculations about TM dude waiting for components but the info you provided was unknown to the community.
I received my unit today, I’m charging the battery.
I noticed that Healthy Rips Fierce dosing capsules are sort of compatible if inserted in the stem without the lid on top. It’s not a perfect fit, the cap doesn’t wiggle inside. It’s just a bit loose as the capsule would fall off if the stem is put upside down. They come at 15$ for a set of 5.

While using my TM yesterday I noticed if I go above 7 in the temp dial I need to stir again even with the @dzoinp screen mod. Not a big deal and the resulting roast still appears more even then when I use the device stock. I'm finding myself staying below temp 7 anyways or the flavour drops too quickly. My most frequent use case is between temp 4-5 with possibly a hit at 6 to finish it off.

I bought an infrared laser thermometer last week and I was trying to see what sort of temperatures I'm getting in the stem but my thermometer doesn't pick up all surfaces properly. The cooling unit was hitting roughly 50ºC/122ºF immediately after a few draws, this is in a long stem with 50 - 4mm boro balls. I'll have to try again without balls to see how much heat they're stealing away. Good fun!

I received an email from him suggesting I just "send it in" for repair to the vibration system. When I checked into shipping, it was well over $100/one way to ship it to Finland. He never replied to me after that.
I'm still holding out hope that they're going to pick a North American distributor who will handle will RMA's and cost much less to ship to in case any issues pop up. KGWoodcrafts is out, @VGOODIEZ is still waiting for stock afaik and recently Sneaky Pete/Vape North was added to the list.
