Nice little gizmo! Referring to the VapCap feeder! ^

Been using a 3-D printed hopper loader as a VapCap loader for a while, but the feeder is over the top!

Lo and Behold! The transformative power of Vapor.
I've tried to take photos of it to catch all the subtleties of it, but it's not easy for me.
My Curly Pyinma UD has a luster that has a grain pattern of it's own and hard to capture in a single image. Luster has a different pattern than the wood grain.
The wood has all these knots in it with some negative space. When Ed cut mine it SEEMS like the hard and soft places made this wavy surface to a few of sides of my stash. This with the cracks and deep redish brown color make it seem kind of old.
I'm seeing that kind of complexity even in my stem. Tiny knots like you described all bunched together. Just a small amount of blond on the tip. Wavy swirls throughout.

The lathe work on the Ed's stem that I have is complex and has two sets of three black rings. Which accents both sides of the lathe work. And it's 14mm compatible. So in a condenserless M, it can work as an adapter as well as an MP extension.

Wow... talk about cool. Gotta love the dynavap family.
George is into 3D printing ideas and sharing his stash ideas with the family too. How cool is that?

Wanna help me decide on a first VapCap purchase?

I read all the way through the Best Of thread plus a bunch of pages of this thread. I'd like to stay cool and I'd like to fit my VC to some sort of 14mm water pipe eventually. Does that make me a good fit for an OmniVong or NonaVong I guess? I prefer microdosing and size isn't an issue so I'm thinking an XL or XLS would be the move. Not an M since the oven size isn't adjustable.

Thanks for any suggestions.

My personal favorite is an omni XL fitted with a blackwood vong stem. It doesn't look stubby like the regular vong, it's long and lean and the ti mouthpiece really sets the blackwood off, and it fits my hand nice. I have big hands. Since omni's have adjustable condensers I can eliminate the carb use when using it in water. I determined that any future dynavaps will all be xl's. I may give away some M's tho.
But whatever you choose, ( for your first one, lol) I'm sure you'll like it.

I knew you would like it. It absolutely takes the cake for simplicity and elegant function. And its a stoner lego like you wouldn't believe.
The "M" is INSANE as MEDICATING very hard!

The "M" will ruin the most extreme vaporisers

My opinion for what it maybe worth? 0.00125375 cent's. Just MATH?

@Squiby this is powerful!
If you need BLING you can have that as well?

I like the function of the "M" 4 me!

@stark1 don’t know where you’re located, but I’ve been in Chicago for Christmas, and FUCK IT’S COLD! Like walk 300 yards outside and get numb legs in your jeans from the wind chill cold. I’m from the Mid-Atlantic, and this is beyond my normal concept of cold. Would have been a challenge if I had bought my VC’s, went with the cartridge pen instead. Not nearly as fun, ritualistic or as tasty as my caps. But got to sleep and be pain free in between the forays outside. I ramble, as your current avatar just reminded how it felt outside today. Cheers all!

I’m with @ataxian I love the M. I know it’s not as fancy as some others, but I’m more a minimalist. To me that’s what “m” means. Most people start with an M and then work their way up. I started with an Omni and worked back to the M. I still use them both, but I just like the minimal design of the M and I use it more often. I’m hoping for an M with an all Titanium construction.

Isn't SS better than titanium 4 flavor?
I like the "M" for my use with water path.

Durable like nobodies business. MEDICAL CANNABIS DEVICE = "M"

The "M" is very practical?

Or is it just me?
You can have BLING if that is important to you?

GOOD JOB VAP CAP!

My last order came in real quick! Ordered on the 20th got it in mail today. Took 7 days to Germany on the holidays. Thank you for this great job @VapCap !
My last step in stoner lego is completed. Now I have a Ti M-XLS.

Was a bit surprised that it doesn't fit in my dynastash anymore.:rolleyes::rofl:didn't think about that. Luckily they send me a XL storage tube.

Now I'm looking forward an Omni or a dynastash XL or the feeder or a Ti MP or....

Probably no .
The other way around .

Stainless steel affects in some degree some flavors/odors .
Some terpenes as well other compounds can be "neutralised" when they come in contact with ss .That's why you can find ss soap bars.

cheers.

I have always learned something interesting reading your posts, SDS, this one as well.

However, a quote:

“warning: stainless steel soap contains chromium, a chemical known to the state of california to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm”.

So, use your “M” instead? & get toasted, at the same time? :D:spliff:

He uses a Ti Tip eith the M body.

...what do you mean with "no comparisson" ?
Am I the only one who finds the vapcaps lacking in flavour compared to a solo?

Font get me wring.
The vapcaps are good for hot extraction. But flavourwise.
Mmmh, there are better ones

No comparison.

Could you elaborate on the difference in flavor as I'm curious, too.

The ti tip, I would think.

Chromium & SS:
Stainless steel is a metal alloy, made up of steel mixed with elements such as chromium, nickel, molybdenum, silicon, aluminum, and carbon. Iron mixed with carbon to produce steel is the main component of stainless steel. Chromium is added to make it resistant to rust.

What's the difference between 304 and 316 stainless steel? The simple answer is 304 contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel while 316 contains 16% chromium, 10% nickel and 2% molybdenum. The molybdenum is added to help resist corrosion to chlorides (like sea water and de-icing salts)

Looks like all stainless steel contains chromium:

Yes ,indeed.
BUT ...

Chromium comes in many different valence states .
The Cr+1, Cr+3, Cr+4, Cr+5 and the Cr+6
...

" Trivalent chromium (Cr(III)) ion is an essential nutrient in trace amounts in humans for insulin, sugar and lipid metabolism, although the issue is debated.

While chromium metal and Cr(III) ions are not considered toxic,
hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) is toxic and carcinogenic.
"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromium

" Hexavalent chromium can be formed when performing "hot work" such as welding on stainless steel or melting chromium metal. In these situations the chromium is not originally hexavalent, but the high temperatures involved in the process result in oxidation that converts the chromium to a hexavalent state "

" Exposure and safety issues
Hexavalent chromium is a constituent of tobacco smoke "
;)

Vapers shouldn't be worrying that much.
As opposed to smokers ...

Cigs and blended joints are far more dangerous than stainless steel ,
regarding hexavalent Cr .

Cheers.

Quite correct.

If someone was to apply enough heat energy to create Cr6 they are doing something seriously wrong. The snap disk would be completely fucked and there would be nothing left to vape.
