Just wanted to say that you @Summer are utterly helpful! And your posts are so interesting... So from my very heart, thanks for all that!

What a lovely thing to say, fcm, thank you!

And best of all, the questions you ask are mine too so I don't have to.

Got my shipping notification email for the Omnivap and for the cooljarz.com order!!

The wait begins

Your wait doesn't have to be painful -- You got your new M to keep you warm. ;)

@GreenHopper, photography, too! I'm just gonna crown you King/queen(?) of the Visuals.

I had a feeling that's what you meant, but those words ....

Right now my preferred method in using a triple triangle & placing the cap at the very top of what you called the outer; just above where the 3 flames converge; so, the cap is only being grazed by the heat on the outermost flame; simply put, just above all visual blue in the flame. I liken it to using a single flame. It takes longer to heat, but it is totally convection & I prevent even negligible combustion. And I get light to medium vapor.

GLASS is so fragile but, I luv my OG butter fingers me
I haven't used an OG since I broke the first one and bought an Omni along with a replacement OG that I've taken on holiday with me. Dunno if it's the bigger load, the Amsterdam weed, the Coffeeshop vibes but that thing hits like a train :D. Way easier to hit than the M (although I haven't given the M much use so far), not as smooth or elegant as the Omni but the OG is a beast .

New $10 Zico dual flame from my local smoke shop. Feels like it should be worth more than that. Cant complain.
This is the only vape Ive used for like a month now. Ive never gone that long without using my electronic vapes but tbh, Im missing them less and less. The efficiency alone makes me not want to use anything else. Ive had this VC for 8 months and have grown closer to it, not farther apart. Thats how you know it was meant to be, like a good girlfriend who turns into your fiance. I dont even check out other Vapcaps. This thing has such a sexy body and quickies are awesome with her.

Don't know how I haven't thought about this earlier but better late than never! :p

Omni is just amazing in every aspect but truth is it gets a little hot after two or three consecutive hits. Not scorching hot but uncomfortable, for me at least. I used the included glass body when at home that didn't conduct heat as much but I sat on it one day and way it goes! :p
Since I learned this technique I have done this with many things and it adds functionality and looks and in this case solved my little problem and has a very unique and pleasant feel to the touch. As it adds some bulk it's easier to spin too! I used some ready made natural thin cordage for this mod... Just thick enough to fit the DS! :D

PS: This new quadruple Cohiba torch from Vaposhop is really good as well! Light trigger, built like a tank, small and elegant. Waiting for my flint cylinder singles as well from China! :D At last some elegance and no more plastic!

I'm experiencing the same problem since when I started using the new generation five fins Ti tip (many thanks again George @VapCap). While the flavor is definitely better and I find slightly easier to fully extract in a single hit the body gets way hotter than with my old seven finned tip. This only happens when I'm hitting it through water, I haven't noticed any difference when using it dry.

I really like that wrapping man, reminds me of the NewVape FP handle.

Can someone point me to info regarding modifying/grinding out the 3 notches in the tip end. Since I use my vapcap through water mainly, my carb is closed off and I am not getting enough airflow to get a good convection going. I thought I read about this but cant seem to find it.

Freaking combusted the other day and almost puked because my load was somewhat wet and gave me an uneven heating process when using it.

Hello bud, check out @phattpiggie's post. Has a great pic in it that shows where the grooves should be filed with a needle file:

You really should be looking over in the cheap glass thread http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/cheap-high-quality-bubbler.5255/page-980

But you really can't go wrong with this for about $25 delivered D020

These days it's taking about 10 days to 2 weeks to get to US addresses from China.

You can probably get them to include a 18mm to 14mm reducer with the order at no additional charge.

happy camper....
Going to have a play with fine grind for some fun but I think it's probably going to be too much effort for daily use. Fun to mix things up every now and then though and the VapCap responds really well to switching things up, it's easily the most versatile device I've come across.

It's awesome when you get it dialed in.

Speaking of fine grind, go see "Mini Tobacco Herb Grinder Hand Crusher Muller w/ Handle" (SKU 7552802) at FastTech. I got this one and nothing grinds any finer than this! I didn't pack it down in my Tip but did fill it up and think it was a little too much. Think I'll try it only about 3/4 filled and see what happens.

@fcmember , you don't love us enough to provide a direct, highlighted link to the grinder? :( :brow:

As a matter of fact, I felt bad enough just realizing I didn't 'color' that title so it'd stand out from the rest of the sentence.

Could you kindly show me how to provide a direct highlighted link so I can be kind in the future?

I'm on my way to pick up a small. Should I make it a medium?

Lets see, how to get back on topic...

Dynavap reminds me of a pizza place because you get to customize your VC however you want it. Bodies or stems, MP or no, metal or wood, regular or XL.

Just no sausage or cheese...

So the Omnivap gets hot as well?

As hot as the M?

It gets pretty hot after a few bowls back to back... Not that big of a deal for me but i was hoping this statement was true LOL

"The OmniVap's Titanium body and mouthpiece are designed to never get hot, even during a long session."

Sounds like you're definitely in right part of flame. When I use a triple jet in triangle config (instead of jets being inline) I find best heating with 2 jets hitting out towards end of cap, and 3rd jet lined up dead center and away from end of cap. Very simple diagram with blue dots as jets.

eZ3kX4Z.jpg

I just tried rotating the lighter to the triangle position you suggested, along with @GreenHopper 's flame-to-cap positioning & it worked great. Light vapor on every hit (how I like it); normal, slow ABV color change. OK, this definitely betters my technique. But, Greenhopper, I didn't drop the cap as low/deep into the lighter blue region as you, rather I dropped it, from just above the lighter blue area, into the outer extreme of the lighter blue. I roll on the slower side so if the intensity is farther away I'm assured not to roast. And I even used your technique for packing the tip...

I don't load by inhaling through my stem, I scoop into grinder and then place a finger over the end and twist to remove any loose particles. It's just the way that works for me, totally a subjective matter.

... & this worked really well. Depending on moisture content, my grinder will grind differently (I guess everybody's does too.) so this was moist & the grind overall coarse.

I think we need a new acronymn, GH. :brow: How 'bout LBR for lighter blue region? ;) OK, OK, I'm done with the acronyms. :horse:

Anyway, you two,

I like that. Same here:tup:.

I've been using the M mostly when it's almost time for bed and I've been blown away by it. I know I've mentioned it on here before but wow does it hit hard. I once again thought I combusted and took a look inside the bowl. It was just toasty and almost all done with just one hit. The hit felt as if I was smoking since the vapor was so dense. Only thing I'm not liking is having to buy butane.

So........since it seems I'm using my DV products 9/10 times I may get a concentrate/for the road M.

The dynastash.......how much did it improve your experience. Much of my vaping will be on the go and not at home besides nights and weekends from September till April.

I think you are spot on for where you want to be. I'm a body buzz kinda guy so stick to indicas and higher temps. However most folk seem to prefer the less lazy high and avoid the higher temps for health reasons. I'd say at this point you are no longer learning to use the VapCap but fine tuning it to your specific requirements.

Glad it's working for you, all my material lately has been very well cured so I haven't run into issues with moist material but thanks for the heads up.

FYI IDK AFAIK KISS OK HAGD :p

I've noticed a few people have commended on the new Omni Ti stems getting hotter. May be the new 5 fin tip doesn't dissipate the heat quite as quickly as the Gen 4 7 fin tip  what I can say for sure is there are different body/stem material that can be used which will insulate far better than metal ;)

Totally subjective to your needs and situation. I don't really use my DynastashXL but then I'm mostly at home using a custom WonG stem that just sits in my bubbler when I'm not using it.

It's a nice stash and I'm glad I've got it but I get far more value out of this Solution ;)
