I also wish to offer my thanks for the excellent transparency of your communications to the community on this soon to arrive product.
I do have the following thoughts/comments:
1. The MP being stored (without a lid or anything to keep it there) and then have to be pulled off and installed in a different hole means to me a lot of lost mouth pieces. Would be great if there was someway to make the MP captive.
2. The locking mechanism that locks the magazine to the heating unit, I see it looks like a half twist to lock sort of thing. I hope you made this very robust as it just looks to me like an eventual mechanical failure point.
3. The temp display.....don't like it at all if I understand it. So, you have buttons that raise or lower the temp and doing so is reflected in a gradual shift of color of the power button ring from blue or green to red and then bright red . Right? Well, I'm not sure how many discrete temps the unit has built in, but I personally would like VERY clear indication of what unit temp (low, med-low, med, etc) and what is the resulting objective temperature. As it stands, it looks like a very analog reading that requires the user to sort interpret where they are on a gradual color change range. Am I misunderstanding? If not, then I suggest you rethink this as it looks more confusing and opaque than Pax's temp display scheme.
Just my thoughts. I am following the progress of this vape with anticipation and hope that its everything we think it is as this may be my next portable.

Vids are informative .. my only question/concern is how airtight this thing is. When you lock the square up is there some kinda gasket holding the essence in?

It is pretty tight seal. The motion action is twist but the reaction is lift up, move and replace in its position. Hard to show in a video.

You can hear the snap I just was unsure if maybe a gasket went around the perimeter so when it "snaps" into place it's airtight. 4 chambers could have the potential to emit quite a fragrance

Agree 100% with this. I loved everything about this unit except for the temp change. I frankly could not tell any difference between the purples shown in the video. More leds would be very much appreciated.
A purple color is fine, and so is the green/red, but different shades of the same color seem to be ineffective for me. Maybe limit the colors to one blend put color combination. For example, if there are four LEDs; red, blue, green, and white: than the options could be: red, red/white, red/blue, blue, blue/white, blue/green, green, green/red, green/white, and white. That's 10 color combinations for 10 different temperatures that I believe could be easily identified.

Not a bad way to remedy the temperature indicator. I was thinking only lighting just a portion of the circle. Quarter, half, three quarter, and full. Keep the same four colors, and you don't have to add any other LED lights. Now you have 12 color heating options. Red, blue, white, and keep green as the main "it's ready" color.

My concern is with always having to depress that center button to take a hit.
Kind of reminds me of my old iPhones where the home button eventually stops working after awhile because of constant use. I can see that happening with this unit.

Yes! Please keep doing things like that. Always like knowing the products I buy can last, and if they breakdown with normal use they are covered.
As for the heater coil, oven material, and heating method. From the videos it definitely looks like it is on demand heating with the push of the center button. How much radiant and conduction heat is added? The heater coil being so close to each oven could transfer heat to the ovens themselves. The material in the third video I believe showed some very dark abv. It didn't look combusted, but dark. The v3 does this as well on the highest temperature setting. Not necessarily a bad thing, more so a curiosity.
Well he did go to the highest setting and the vape can be used with oils as well. So the highest temo would probably only be for people who like to get near combustion or for using oils. I would like to see more uniformity in the cook, but I don't even think he was using normal danky dank.
Anyeays thanks for the vids. The concept is simple but brilliant. Hope this one works out. I like the haze BRAND even though I don't own one of their vapes yet.

I guess the color temp gauge should be renamed to "Fifty Shades of Grey" for us color blind.
I lost my right eye in an accident, and subtle changes in color and brightness are hard for me to decipher. I was looking forward to this vape.

How about we also vibrate for each temp? 1 vibration for level 1 and 2 for level 2 etc? Would that work?

I counted at least eight temp setting on your last video. Is the thing going to vibrate eight times when it hits the highest temperature. That seems a little silly

As long as it can be turned off too? I haven't experienced a non-annoying vibration feature yet but I know some may do it better than the ones I've used.
What about just counting what button you press how many times? I dono I feel like adjusting temp settings would be easy with two buttons like that, plus an LED, but if there are 8 settings I don't know... Didn't do audio with the video so may have missed some things.
As long as I'm here though I should say I think everything looks fantastic and I can't wait to try it! Being able to pack 4 herb bowls out and about with regulated on demand convection as the potential to change my life. Recently got into disposable oil carts for out and about stealth/convenience, but would much rather go back to herb full time and this seems like the best way! (side note: hoping it's possible to get 4 herb trays instead of 2/2 since I don't really use concentrates much at all, would maybe like 4 herb trays and 1 concentrate tray to test though...)
I do agree with concern about storing mouthpiece outside unit like that, as it gets dirty could leak more smells? Seems easy and quick to clean though, and may be nice to have a clamshell case for the Square anyway
But yeah I'm willing to try temp control as is before I judge it, firmware can be upgraded if it needs to be altered though?
Oh and congratulations getting it all together btw! Big things ahead...

It would be on you to remember exactly what setting you left it on though. If you "somehow" managed to forget you'd have to restart the count from the begging or end. Would have to reset from the bottom after a shutdown for similar reasons I figure too. It seems like you either go the pax route with more colors or the solo route with more lights. Maybe you could have the led slowly climb around the center button completing a circle as the temp increases?

I don't remember reading about battery life. Can you promise that the battery charge will last at least through the 4 canister loads, regardless what each is filled with?

For me, the mouthpiece situated on the outside is completely okay. I never take portables out without them being in some kind of case in my pocket, so smell "should" never be a problem. Also, it would be cleaned every day anyway, so again, smell should be at a minimum.
I've never seen the point in a portable having infinite step ups in temperature. It's a portable...I would prefer to just have 4 or 5 set temps and leave it at that. We all have a favorite temp to start at and finish at. Seems that set temps should be able to hit most peoples sweet spots.
Not a super fan of haptic feedback, but I guess it's okay if used sparingly. It would make sense however for the color blind among us who benefit from its use.
As far as the Square coming with 2 flower and 2 oil modules...I'd rather see 3 flower and 1 oil. Still thinking that the majority of people vape flowers when out and about than oil, and it makes more sense to me to start off with the majority of modules being for flower...but that's just me...YMMV.
Hopefully, we all get to experience this new vape in the not too distant future...

I think a delayed vibration would work with only 3 or 4 delays rather than 8 separate vibrations. So say low-medium temp is reached one vibration after a short ms delay, then medium-high, second vibration high-max 3rd...maybe another at the end for overheating warning then auto shutdown?
